A quiet week in which the Switch 2 sells 67,509 units. Not bad!

I'd get the upgrade, but it's too expensive... Had it been 10 bucks and I would consider it.
I'm not into online play, and I don't think I could get much from this locally...

I'm happy for those who like all this, though! I might get it eventually myself, if I find it cheaper.

I agree with many, but I'm not interested in a lot of the games in the list.
However, I would add:
-Monster Hunter World and Wilds,
-RE 2, 3 y 4 remakes
-Okami 2.
-Kingdom Hearts series
-Devil May Cry IV and V
-Onimusha (yes, pretty much everything from Capcom lol)
-Stellar Blade

I hope during this year we get many more Switch 2 upgrades, both from Nintendo and the third parties.

The games that need it most, imo, are:

-Witcher 3
-The Xenoblade series
-The Platinum trilogy (Nier Automata, Astral Chain and Bayonetta 3)
-The Doom series
-The Pikmin series (especially if they include new content for 4)
-The Fire Emblem series
-Kingdom Come Deliverance

@Aneira They actually listen. Otherwise, they wouldn't have released RE7 the way it was, considering RE5 and 6 sold so well, for instance.

I certainly hope so! It's the RE game that needs a remake the most, and one of the best ones as well.

By the way, I also want the rest of the REmakes to arrive on the Switch 2 this year, please! I'd get them all day one, same as the Generations Pack.

Have we not played the same game...? MP4 may have some problems, but that one?? It makes no sense, you really grow in power as you progress in the story.

I'm starting to believe people that dislike the game haven't actually played it...

For me it wasn't just goo enough, it was VERY good. Not better than MP1, of course, but a bit better than MP2 and 3, (and Other M and some others).
Despite all the hate around it (I'll never understand people), it was a really good game. Not perfect, but definitely worth it.

And it was also an awesome way to find out what the Switch 2 is capable of!

It seems the Variable never goes down 30fps, so I'd say that's the best option to choose.

I'm on my way through Hyrule Warriors AoI, but actually, after enjoying the Reanimal demo, I couldn't resist the temptation to buy the Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition (it's on sale atm), as I played it on PC a long time ago and loved it. So I started a new run. Man, such a great little game! And it looks very nice on Switch 2.

For those who say that this indicates a Switch 2 Pro or an OLED version is coming soon... No. You know that won't happen. A Lite model is very feasible as it won't stop the OG Switch 2 sales (it's just an alternative way to enjoy their games). But an improved version already? That would make NO sense lol.

I bet they will release the Switch 2 OLED by the end of 2028, along with the release of the brand new 3D Zelda game. That would make perfect sense, comercially speaking.

Sure thing there will be a Switch 2 Lite available pretty soon. Maybe by the end of this year. We saw with the Switch 1 that there's plenty of market for a pure handheld.

I wouldn't get it. I really like the switch functionality, the solo games I play them mainly on the go while the multiplayer ones I play them on the TV with my pals. It's a perfect combo.

Playing Age of Imprisonment at the moment, but it's good to know the port is awesome! Directly to the wishlist it goes.

Ok, Generations Pack preordered for 85€. Can't wait to play them all on the go!

There you have it. The game that proved me what the system is capable of, a GREAT game in every way. But you returned it based on haters' opinions, instead of your own... Fantastic, man. Fantastic.

Despite what investors say, this console will sell like hotcakes. And well deserved! It's a fantastic console, perfect evolution of the amazing Switch 1.

If they had included QuackShot, I'd definitely get it. I loved that game as a child.

I might get it eventually when it's cheaper and totally updated (with gyro and so). And hopefully when there are more Tomb Raiders available...

But hey, they could also be working in a new Dark Cloud/Chronicles. That would be awesome! And maybe a remake of Rogue Galaxy? Never played it, but I understand it's pretty good.

I have already preordered the Generations Pack, so I don't need to know more about REquiem. Watching a bit of it running on the Switch 2 would be cool, though.

However, I really hope they'll announce that the remakes are also coming to Switch 2 by this Fall, and maybe the first teaser trailer of RE Code Veronica remake, coming out in 2027.

I loved the Switch 1, but it's already gone. No point in keeping it when there is a MUCH better console where you can play your games in a much better way out there.

I was never able to finish this game. Too much dialogue and little gameplay, sometimes it felt like a visual novel lol.

Tried out the demo on Switch 2, and it looks amazing! Love the art style.
I really want to play the game, but my backlog is huge and I already preordered REquiem... And Ys X Proud Nordics is coming in February as well, I've wanted to play that game for a long time.

Damn, so many great games all together.

@Axecon I also reckon 4, 5 and 6 will be remade following the 2D-HD treatment, probably by next year. VIII I don't know, but will perhaps get a big remake with XI graphics, while IX will continue the art style of VII, which fits it very well.

I'm not particularly hyped yet, to be honest. I liked Aces, I thought it was a fine Tennis game, although I'd expect more from this one.
They have to bring us a (general) Direct before this game is out, to warm us up with a great trailer.

I haven't been able to try out the demo yet, I hope to do so as soon as I get back home tonight.

I was expecting to see some impressions here, after seeing that the article had so many comments. However, I see it's all about the Key Card situation... Oh well.

@Nicktendo64 Keep in mind that this game, same as Octopath 0, don't have an upgrade path to the Switch 2 version. So, in this situation, it's either Key Card or having the Switch 1 edition forever (which can be played on the Switch 2, but it's much worse).

@fersama Just check both versiones in the eshop. They are like night and day lol. The Switch 1 version looked TERRIBLE.
