They run and look pretty bad on the original...

They are no games to put tons of hours within a week, but rather, play them from time to time FOR AGES.
I have probably played no more than 100 hours to Mario Kart 8 in like 8 years. However, it's a game I keep coming back, even today. It's just the perfect game to pick up and play, especially with friends.

There's NOT going to be a Direct soon, guys. There are a lot of Nintendo games confirmed already (except a couple of release dates). Wait for September for more news on first party titles.

However, we are bound to get a Partner Showcase VERY soon, with a lot of news regarding third party games.
I honestly can't wait for that!

@Ajent This score is for the version of an 8 years old game. It's not worth the price they ask for it, that's all. Of course the game is still fantastic, but this version could have been better.
If at least the DLC was included...

A paid upgrade that only improves resolution and framerate (logical improvements in a new hardware). The Zelda Notes is worthless and the DLC is missing... This should have been for free.

@Darthmoogle The score is for this version. Everyone knows the game is still fantastic, but this upgrade doesn't justify the price they ask for it.
If it was for free, I bet it would've scored higher... Even though it doesn't even include the DLC! Terrible thing they did here.

Besides, would you say Expedition 33 is technically more powerful than Cyberpunk, FFVII Remake or Borderlands 4? Serious question, I'd be surprised considering it's such a small team...

@Ganon821 I don't get your point, as I haven't played the game yet, but it's VERY likely that Expedition 33 will come over to Switch 2 soon, said by the developers.
So I guess that's as long as we have to wait to have a game as good as that one...

I didn't play the first Fantasy Life in multiplayer, and it became my favorite 3DS game. So I don't care about that feature. I just want the game to be great, and it seems that's exactly what we're getting!

I'll likely hold up until the Switch 2 version, though.

This year I'll get FOR SURE Mario Kart, Cyberpunk, Fast Fusion, DK Bananza, Metroid Prime 4, Fantasy Life, Elden Ring, Ys X Proud Nordics and Professor Layton.
And also the upgrades for Zelda TotK and Kirby.

And who knows what else will be coming by Christmas (Red Dead Redemption 2, maybe?). I'm excited!

But you can also see how Borderlands 4 will look on Switch 2 (even though it's not as impressive, imo). Same as Civilization VII, Split Fiction, Rune Factory...

SE should definitely bring the first games to the Switch 2 -not the cloud version. 1 and 2 are great. But they can keep 3, what a terrible game.
