A bit too floaty and casual feel for me - though still clearly has some depth/skill. I’m more a MK 8, MK DS, Wipeout and Sega Rally 2 kinda guy when it comes to racing. I can totally see why many would like this however, so enjoy

I’m interested in this for sure! Will pick up when Switch 2 version arrives. I never really tried Hitman apart from a cloud version very briefly, but have fond memories from an old Splinter Cell and I always liked to sneak around in games…

Personally I just adore Mario World including its art direction; the more connected overworld map and its secrets made it feel like a real adventure. But, I played it while it was that time period so not sure how I’d judge it otherwise. As it stands, it’s in my top 5 of all time!

Thanks for a nice list, some good trips down memory lane for one thing. I don’t think I saw Conker’s Bad Fur Day on there though hmm

Only big disappointment was BoTW not beating ToTK, and reading that Nintendolife staff had to bow down to IGN on that one. BoTW was so momentously impactful. Goes to show I’m frequenting the better site of the two

It’s per month. Still very low comparably, but Japanese salary systems are skewed to encourage long-term tenure afaik.

Looks good but I find the price steep, and shelf space is precious I guess the price might be palatable to those who are the target demographic however.

So players never connecting to the Internet don’t get counted, meaning the true nr should be even more impressive, like 128 million and ten!

I’d be curious to see the split of Nintendo Switch online members, however, e.g. how many pay for the extended pack and are family members and such.

Haha those are awesome. That Independece Day drawing cracked me up, and a bunch are super nice. Glad to see some of this salvaged, and that at least a few creators got theirs back. Gotta agree that Link drawing is terrific that was received in return.

Glad to hear it runs mostly fine where it matters also on Switch 1, though if I experience this it’ll be on Switch 2. Cheers for extra review

Here, here. A remake would indeed be excellent, I’d throw money at it even with Switch 2 tax included.

And I also loved that version of Mario Golf, even if I enjoyed the Game boy color one even more (loved those RPG elements)! <3 I shed a small tear each time a Mario Golf or Tennis is released without those features haha.

Bit unrelated: how does the first game play on the Switch 2, no bugs/any notable improvements?

I bought my PS4 mainly for games like Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima, and a bit for PES. Ghost of Yotei won’t make me buy a PS5 though - my wallet hopes so at least (excellent Switch backlog helps!)

As a sports fan it’s very interesting, but also slightly worrying, to see the platform splits when comparing most sports games with e.g. Sonic racing. FC 26, NBA, WWE are all in the single digits on Switch, while doing quite well with Sonic. Guess it reflects the install base demographic but doesn’t help me feel confident we’ll get top support and potentially also NHL, F1 etc in the future

On the fence here depending on ability to choose capped or uncapped framerate.

Just make sure to be online for the lottery and what I think is a sale release as well in conjunction with the results. I’m travelling there in 1 month+ but missed the Nintendo Museum tickets and very very closely nabbed the very last SMW express tickets at universal studios. It’s quite confusing as a first time ticket acquirer… So don’t do like me and book the flights first Didn’t expect either to be that hard to get tickets for so far in advance! I guess there’s always next time haha 🙈

Got it at launch to support the cart release - funny due to me being mostly digital - and I’ve been very pleased with this one Thanks for an awesome game, it’s looking and playing fantastic

I don’t necessarily want more ports for S2, but I do want simultaneous big game releases! (Who says it can’t be the equal or lead platform to develop for? ;3)

Glad that most seem to enjoy this. Growing up where I did I never really got into or fully understood American football as we call it, but still I have enjoyed some matches of it - looking forward to try this out. Since it plays well and is consistent/smooth (even if no 60fps) I should be a happy camper 🏈

Well, I didn't like Emerald Rush much, or working for Void, wish I had read this review before rushing to buy Wish they had added some new permanent skills to unlock plus as you mentioned filling the island with real stuff outside of the Rush game

Haha, loved that commercial. Cheeky in all the right ways I thought 😁 I won't buy it however; MKW turned me off on kart racing for a bit. Now I'm into New Star GP instead and would rather have some Forza or Sega Rally 2 come onto my Switch for the next racing game... *Crosses fingers *
