@Olmectron it’s not a giant leap to go from revealing more Metroid Prime 4 content to announcing Prime 2 is shortly available in the eShop, much like when Prime Remastered was shadow dropped.

They really could have announced Metroid Prime 2 Remastered after that 4 showcase and that would’ve been an easy crowd pleaser… maybe they really are holding it back for GameCube Online. The speculation continues.

Ohhh-ho that double Direct countdown banner on the NintendoLife website is both hilarious and extremely exciting.

Bit of a misleading title as it suggests only us Switch owners are getting shafted, but this is not the case. Otherwise, great article that I agree with fully.

I’m actually surprised. This is the first first party (remaster or otherwise) I’ve not bothered with since the Switch launch. Figure it’ll get a physical reduction eventually… I’ll bite at £20.

Edit: to my knowledge. I haven’t picked up smaller games I have no interest in like 1-2 Switch sequel

This would be such a welcome nostalgia trip, but £24.99 is too much of an ask when the backlog is real. I see a lot of the other (vastly inferior) Worms games reduced on the eShop, so I think I’ll bite around the 50% mark.

Powerwash Simulator is brilliant. I’ve sunk over 105 hours on the base game alone (plus the heaps of free DLC)! So therapeutic and addictive. I play it on night shifts while listening to podcasts.

Everyone is saying Emio this and Emio that, but no one is saying ARMS this and Jump Rope Challenge that.

@PapaMurphy Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole are both excellent. Obviously boosted tremendously by being fans of the show itself - Stick of Truth would still be very enjoyable to someone with very basic South Park knowledge.

Loaded this one up (after a hefty download), went to the menu, looked at the Batsuits to check out the new timed exclusive The Batman one… oh no. I seriously thought my TV was on the fritz.

I like the Japan artwork, but on the other hand, I prefer the Japan artwork.

@gcunit ha! Too much effort I reckon… that’s what I get for being disloyal! I might be able to just switch out the outer case - I’m not certain that the inlay was creased, but when it arrived, I thought the packaging was insufficient.

@Bunkerneath yeah, same here. I am a physical buyer so looked at PlayAsia a few times but once they hit you with tax I thought … nah.

Have these titles ever been on sale individually? I know Square titles are often for cheaps on eShop fairly regularly. I’d pick up FFVI and get somewhere with it, unlike my failed attempts on SNES mini and iOS.

I realised as soon as I got it in my hands that it’ll be the last Zelda for a long while….I completed by first phenomenon around the 15th May and second coincidentally on the 15th June… so I aim to keep that pace and complete the game around late August. Still in disbelief at how much content. I 100%’d BotW so I might as well do the same with TotK on the first play thru.

I've passed about 8 of these and had no clue how to interact with it. I've largely bypassed most things Zonai as there's so much else to do... even 65 hours in.

Perhaps I'm alone, but I feel the battery / Zonai device aspect of the game hasn't been explained very clearly.

I would be incredibly hyped, but I'm still enamoured with the Switch and the backlog is unreal. I could easily wait another couple of years.

bit annoyed that I set up alerts for the pre order of the special edition - got into the UK site queuing on the day, picked up the game and the amiibo, but the pro controller wasn't listed. Then the next day, it came and went... can't seem to get that anywhere now.

I frequent hotukdeals daily and loads of outlets (Argos, Smyths, GAME) have Last of Us 2 for £7.99.

I played the first remastered on PS4 and snapped this up back when £15 sounded like a steal… so a no brainer. Doesn’t mean I’ve got round to playing it, however!

PCS are usually always character reveals… even tho they already showed Yoshis in the movie. I was hoping during the Banzai Bill scene going overhead the castle we would’ve scene either Yoshi or an egg on the roof…
