Just finished Xenoblade X's Chapter 13. And I still have the Xenoblade itch, so I have ordered NieR Automata which should be arriving today!

Just rolled the credits on Chapter12 in Xenoblade Chronicles X. I went on spoiler free and it’s been a great story so far. I can’t wait to tackle the game’s DLC.

Bananza feels like the sequel to Mario Odessey that we’ve been waiting for!

Still playing Xenoblade X - 30 hours in and loving it!

Professor Layton - please!

Hopefully everyone had a great Xmas. I will be playing something from Santa's stocking - Luigi's Mansion 2 HD. With the children it will be Mario Party Jamboree and (sigh) Just Dance 2025.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 with 129 Hours.
Red Dead Redemption with 40 hours.
Paper Mario TTYD with 31 hours.

Total of 265 hours which was less that Zelda TOTK last year.

I'm waiting to open my Xmas present (Luigi's Mansion 2 HD) so this week just dabbing in some puzzle games - Railbound and Suika Game.

@Zuljaras I finished Red Dead Redemption in Switch a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty sweet.

Before all the excitement of the new Zelda, I’ll be plugging away at Red Dead Redemption 1 on my Switch.

I’ve been on holiday - without the Switch! But I return home this weekend so back to Red Dead Redemption.

I also picked up Super Mario Bros U Deluxe for cheap so I will also have a bit of fun with that.

This is going to be a great swansong for the Switch.

Still playing Red Dead Redemption in the Switch. My summer has been surprisingly busy so I have not played it enough but I would like to finish RDR before the new Zelda game is released.

TTYD - what else?

I’m still happily playing through Xenoblade 3. Already topped 100 hours and I’ve really been enjoying this.

Also a bit of MarioWonder with the kids.

I loved the original FL, but I wonder if I have the time for another big game like this. Hopefully I will.

I hope Level 5 haven’t forgotten about Professor Layton.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood (from the Ezio Collection) this weekend for me - I am still chilling after TOTK, I don’t want anything too taxing yet.

If I had known this, I would’ve worn my Tingle Suit whilst underneath Death Mountain.

Finishing TOTK - after a brilliant three and a bit months, it’s time to face Gannondorf.

Secret of Mana was an unforgettable experience for me as a teenager. I spent months exploring every part of the world and I was fascinated by the ‘twists’ in the plot line.

I do remember the visuals and seeing them again on the SNES Mini some thirty years later I was blown away by how good they hold up.

In the end it was a great game and it’s interesting how a lot of modern day Action RPGs take their cue from Secret of Mana.

Still two months in and I am continuing to play Tears of the Kingdom. I have never had such an all consuming game experience and whilst I don’t know when I’ll finish the game, I am still enjoying every moment of it.

Saving the princess again in TOTK!

For me, after finishing Assassin’s Creed Ii last week, I am back in Hyrule playing BOTW in preparation for Tears next week - and it has been great to go back and aimlessly wander around.

After finishing ACII (from the Ezio Collection) I’ve dipped back into BOTW.

I’ve completed it ages ago, but I want to get used to handling Link before heading into TotK.

Weird to think the Master Sword has been in so few mainline games, but seeing that video brought back some sweet memories!

@Picola-Wicola Sometimes I think Blood and Wine is better than the main quest. It was a great experience!

I’ll hopefully be finishing off Assassin’s Creed 2 from the Ezio Collection.

Assassin’s Creed II from the Switch’s Ezio

After finishing Return to Monkey Island, I’ll start Assassin’s Creed II from the Ezio Collection this weekend on the Switch.

I’ll probably finish Return to Monkey Island this weekend. It’s a great game - a real return to my childhood.

@IronMan30 I am a huge Layton fan so I would say play everything. But I would agree with @Pod that the stories are disconnected enough that each instalment can be played without a requirement to play the others.

Anyway, there are enough cut scenes on youtube if you really want to catch up with the mainline series.

Finished Bayonetta 3 last week (loved the ending) and this weekend will get down to some serious monkeying around on Return to Monkey Island.

I should finish Bayonetta 3 this weekend and if so I will start Return to Monkey Island.

Definitely going to head through Bayonetta 3.

And I’ve just bought Monkey Island for the switch as it’s on sale - so I’ll be having a little go on that this weekend.

Coming back from holiday so will get down to some Bayonetta 3 this evening when I arrive back. I want to complete it before hitting Bayonetta Origins.

It was great to see the big and expected Nintendo releases - and kudos to Metroid fans. But for me, Level 5 seem to be back with a bang - Layton all the way!

There was only one for me - Tharja - so much so she is still my avatar.

@ibookboyuk already splashed out on Zelda Link to the Past on the virtual console. So yes, I bet there is more than a little burst of cash.

I don’t know why, Three Houses never interested me and Engage, not sure about (although I played and enjoyed all the 3DS entries.) I’ll think about whether to dip into Engage, I have to see more online.

However, I am back to Bayonetta 3 this weekend. Still enjoying that game.

@FishyS yeah, I’m pretty lame at rhythm games too, but it was a fun little teaser and it was doable for me.

I’ll look out for the reviews for this game, but it was an enchanting little experience and I am definitely interested in ‘Origins’.
