@charliecarrot I would strongly recommend it. Currently at 150 hours and still can’t put it down even after the story in both the main game and DLC.

I think giving it a knock for being 30 fps is kind of disingenuous. By that logic, BotW and TotK should be 9's and not 10's due to that.

The game only runs in 60 fps on PS5 in performance mode and the Switch 2 doesn't quite have the same hardware to be on par with PS5. 30 fps for this on Switch 2 is the standard. Anything more than that would have been miraculous to say the least.

The free update is where all the meat is. The paid upgrade aspect is pretty laughable and not required to play Animal Crossing on Switch 2.

The decline in stock price is pretty explainable for two understood reasons that have almost nothing to do with Nintendo.

All looks and are priced as expected. Almost 7000 pcs for the starters is an absolutely insane build and priced accordingly. Getting them all.

Fantastic news!! For the past few weeks, ZA is actually selling more physical copies than Mario Kart World!! The current gap in lifetime sales is only 100k. There's a good chance ZA could surpass that in the coming weeks.

Still not 60 fps?? And worse input lag than Switch 1?? How is that last bit even possible?

Every game on Switch 2 has extremely reduced input lag vs the Switch. This is inexcusable.

The amount of people I always see asking for these items to just be given for doing nothing at all is absolutely astounding.

I play games for fun and rewarding experiences. Being given something without having to accomplish anything is the antithesis to gaming.

If I was running this ship, I would make sure every new stone was locked behind getting Rank A or a challenging quest.

@Gen4Fan Don't be. Most everything in development will still happen. Netflix should be a boon for the video game industry in the fact we should see plenty more DC games on the horizon.

I don't understand all the doom and gloom from so many people on this. Considering the other potential buyers, this is easily the best outcome.

Spent close to $1000 on each at launch to get the new SD cards (1tb each) and some accessories (new cases, etc.).

Transfer of everything from Switch 1 was fairly seamless. Definitely my primary gaming device since June.

Games played (and loved) so far:
-Mario Kart World (love the recent update)
-DK Bananza (spiritual successor to the DKC and DKC2)
-Pokemon ZA (most fun I've had with a Pokemon game)

Picking up Kirby, Metroid, Cyberpunk, and Split Fiction for Christmas. Getting a new Pro Controller. Using the system explicitly now for 3rd party games like Fortnite and Rocket League (both locked in for 60fps and can game capture/clips now!!).

My 1tb card is now full so I'm going to need another this Christmas as well or I will get the new 2 tb version when that drops...

I mean technically ZA is still in first place...

@fenlix I'm referring to developer's spending their time to make a quality port. Elden Ring wasn't quite in the state that they wanted the game yet which is why we haven't seen it release. I applaud that kind of time to make sure the experience is as good as possible.

@the_beaver At this point, all 3rd party titles should be coming to Switch 2. Both because it's an opportunity to capitalize on along with the Switch 2 being powerful enough.

@fenlix Ports are handled differently by different companies. Don't take a port that was handled by Ubisoft to be considered the "height" of what Switch 2 can handle. Elden Ring and Cyberpunk should be better examples.

Why is this considered an "impossible port" when the game is playable on Series S?

What’s the deal with the Special releases? Are they just timed or placeholders for when they permanently add the tracks/playlists?

They really need to roll out more music quicker. All new games should have playlists available on release day. They are still missing several titles released this year.

The Aegislash for Pokemon is probably the greatest yet...

@Tyranexx Battlefield has never sold as well as top performing Pokemon games. If digital was included, I assume Pokemon sold more than this Battlefield.

I'm excited for the next quarterly report from Nintendo to learn about official numbers sold.

Excited this was #2 for the month while only being available for half of October and only including physical sales.

Also, a recent report came out that Switch 2 sold only 300k units in October in the US. Can someone explain to me how that makes any sense? That's such a low number and doesn't add up for sales figures leading into October (June through September).

@FaroreAbhorsen As much as I dislike SV, the DLC did a lot of heavy lifting story wise along with a couple new mechanics I won't spoil for endgame content. Definitely my favorite Pokemon DLC thus far.

Mega Dimension is probably going to clear that for me though... very excited for this.

@FoxyDude It's a RogueLike game mode. Bananza did the same thing for the same price (with arguably much less content than this).

Hoping they show off more of that "area" that seems new... assuming they show off two more Mega-evolutions. Hopefully they don't ruin the surprise of who the big baddy is in the DLC...

@Axecon Gen10 is definitely releasing between October-December of 2026 due to TPC's timeline for Pokemon cards. Good news is that there should be 12 months this time between the Legends game and the Gen10 game (unlike Arceus with SV). Gives them more time to polish/implement ideas from ZA.

Going to be a little frustrated if the new battle mechanics aren't in Gen10 along with the catching mechanics. With some mild polish and use of abilities and otherways to implement new strategy features, could be an absolute game changer for competitive moving forward.

@Pillowpants I get it... but you also don't get access to DK Island or Emerald Rush without the DLC so...
