The constant complaining about pricing is exhausting. Look around you. Please. I'm a lot less bothered by paying $70 for two of the greatest games of all-time than I am by paying $150 minimum every time I look at a grocery store.

I heard a great example of why this conversation is silly. Goodfellas is a 35+ year old movie. Currently, a 4K Blu-Ray of that film will set you back about $40. Just think about that and then think about Mario Galaxy 1+2 being $70. Video games are art. They shouldn't be cheaper just because they're "old" games. It's not a used car.

Value is different to every individual. I'd personally pay more than $70 for Galaxy 1+2 if I had to, but I wouldn't dream about buying a Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, or WWE 2k game at full price, and I like those games. Age =/= value.

By the way, I say all of this as someone who probably has less money than 90% of y'all in this thread.

@Macarver I'm pretty ambivalent about Key Cards, personally. I'll still buy the games I want "physically," regardless. But I know most of the community is pretty passionate about the subject. You mention 007, so I'm curious. Let's say the IO publishes the game physically on Switch 2, with the game 100% on the cartridge, no key card. But due to the size of the game, IO is forced to release it on two cartridges, which drives up the cost of production, thus forcing them to charge $100 for the game physically. Would you buy it? Would that be upsetting? Or, in that scenario, would you prefer the key card option to keep it at $70? I'm asking all of this genuinely, no sarcasm, no snark, just curiosity.
