this will be the game to make me cave in to buy a switch 2.
what would make it even better would be dlc and missions from snes star fox, star fox 2, star fox adventures and star fox assault for both single and multiplayer. we could always bring back the n64 multiplayer levels as well. Yeah, i’ve held off on principle but i’m too big a star fox fan
The first game was great to play if only for all the acrobatics and water jumping, but after that it was an unnecessary chore after that. I think I got past the first level and then stopped playing the second level after that due to the pressure of oxygen and the ability of knowing where to go was more frustrating than enjoyable. Not even my game genie could help me wanting to play this game more.
So we are getting an English version of Sakura Wars finally?
And Dynamite Deka without the Die Hard license attached to it?
The japan only Segagaga simulator?
A remake of Nights would be good without all the waste of time intro we got in the Wii exclusive sequel.
Outrun? Interesting. We did get Coast to Coast in 2006 and that was a good game.
New games for the following are very welcome:
Fantasy Zone
Rent-a-Hero
Guardian Heroes
The next Streets of Rage should just keep it going in the same style as Street of Rage 4. Anything else will disappoint. With all the fan service, extras and unlockable that game featured, especially the extra characters and character versions as well as the hidden bosses, made 4 a definitive experience, especially with the Mr. X dlc.
Why in the infernal abyss would i pick up a game key card version of the game when I just pick the same game with better performance for the PS5 or steam. Only if it goes full cartridge would i pick up.
@Ralizah probably works because the kanji in the original japanese can convey more meaning with less characters. 😂😂😂😂 I run into something similar in spanish when translating, just not to this extreme. 😂😂😂😂
how about a classic star fox game with new planets and enemies. The Corneria system doesn’t need to the system we revisit every time. or maybe a remake of star fox 2 or even a single player star fox zero.
There can also 2 a second remake of star fox 64 with an expanded multiplayer experience. the 3DS remake was great but the multiplayer levels were a disappointment.
As much as adventures was fun, it would only work for me if the new game had arwing portions.
To say that a language is simple is a but insulting. Of course, some meaning will be lost in translation. This is true for most languages, specially slang or culturally specific phrases and sayings. Just look at Swedish and Norwegian. They have words to describe complex emotions and situations.
I know he did not mean anything by it, but such comments can be misconstrued or taken the wring way. It’s insults an entire group of people and their culture.
I do agree with him that a lot details are lost in translation. Hell, I recently found out that Goku and Chichi are supposed to sound like Japanese hicks/country bumpkins, but without context I was clueless. And that was cultural and regional nuance, not even language.
as a person who played the original back in the 90’s at a friend’s house, I can say that the games are great, especially Wario Land, but it is also true that it was headache/migrane inducing and awkward to play since it was made for smaller statures in mind.
Of course, milage varies but I’m hoping i could play these games with the 3D turned off so I don’t need any of the headsets as my memories of this console was a Saturday afternoon wasted recuperating from the almost migrane. The heavy red is a part of the reason, and the other was the posture.
Glad to hear that Nintendo is releasing a smaller cartridge for games as I boycotted the Switch 2 due to the game key card debacle.
They must have been forced to do so probably due to less than expected profits margins after evaluating quarterly reports. LOL People! You wallet speaks very loud and can also speak volumes.
Using Ai to facilitate coding and for code quality checks? Good. Using AI generated content as placeholders? Good. It save time on development while artists do their non-ai art. Placeholder dialog? Good. Beats Lorem Ipsum text. Many times you need placeholder items to see how visual content will result in while assets are being made, and the while the game itself it’s being programmed.
AI can be a useful tool when used correctly. Now, using ai to generate final assets in a game such as images, dialogue, audio and video? Nope.
We need a collection that collects all the ogre battle games. It would also be nice to play an english version of the neo geo pocket game ogre battle gaiden.
Nice! But really looking forward Alex and Ingrid. More so Ingrid since she had not been seen since Capcom Fighting Evolution/Jam and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (PSP) although we recently just got her with Upper in the Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
Well, hopefully this translates into that classic salaryman shame with some dozega and repeated bowing involved so that we could get full game cards. But, the new leadership are investor oriented.
Wish it would have come out for the Switch as well so that I could have all these related zelda games in one console. I’m still not getting the 2 so I’ll just have to buckle down and deal with it.
A bit of a click-bait title but Miyamoto’s views are not incorrect since even graphic design and web design are disciplines for developing a product to be consumed at the end of the day. Yes, they are art but art with a function instead of being art for its own sake.
How about seriously considering a Megaman Legends collection including the Tron Bonne game with quality of life improvements and Megaman Legends 3 to boot. I’ll buy that for $80 pesos.
@JohnnyMind Yeah but that pay cut was in the previous ceo’s tenure (may he rest in peace), the ceo pair this time around are more in line to traditional ceos so that pay cut will most likely not happen. They are the reason the Switch 2 is so developer friendly but not as consumer friendly.
That toy store was at it again? Why do even support the store when Target, Best Buy and pretty much any other place is a better experience than GameStop.
I realized I don't enjoy the masochism that comes from receiving what is supposed to be a brand new game and instead receive an open game that staff probably borrowed to play so that they can tell customers about the game.
@Peach64 agreed. “You should have considered using Home” is just blaming the victim. Blaming a person for having faith that the cloud save function should just work is messed up.
Glad I held off on pulling the trigger on a purchase for a Switch 2.
@Spider-Kev the line of code is stored on the game but the fault is how the switch 2 software in the system is interpreting that line of code. Once Nintendo releases a system update, we should be good to go. When devs reports errors like this to the OEMs, in this case Nintendo, it is good for everyone involved including consumers…as long as Nintendo acts in it which I think they will since the backwards compatible games, the better for them overall.
@Lowdefal agreed as that is the nature of emulation. I still remember the artifact error when playing the original halo 2 on the xbox 360. I’m referencing the scene where you are on the giant scarab walking through a canyon where at the end of it, the scarab blasts open a door through a forerunner facility.
@JohnnyMind go to the Battle Arena and you will get a nice surprise. It's literaly an arcade with people sitting at cabinets you can walk up and sit opposite to challenge like a real arcade. There is also a separate arcade area to play older arcada games and now some nes games as well. And the standard arcade mode which includes the traditional story mode.
@Maxz exactly. Bond’s origins and story are always retconned like Captain. America’s story is always pushed forward. Cap is frozen during WWII but the decade where he thaws out is always pushed forward.
As for Bond, they just move the era forward but the films (excluding Craig’s since those where a complete reboot) had always retconned the time period but carried the story elements over from the previous ones.
@JohnnyMind The trailer and the music they used (actually from one of the films which i’m trying to determine right now but I want to say Sean Conery era bond) wants me want to what this instead of playing it.
@AllBLK yep, had to give up and reassembled the stick when I tried to repair it myself. Well, now it doesn’t drift anymore … nor does it work so yeah … no.

Different Incarnations so different people and Links. Whatever dominant hand he uses in that incarnation is the correct hand.

Re: Random: Miyamoto Thought The Star Fox 'Amputation' Theory Was Nuts
I heard of this rumor during the N64 era and their footwear was all metal, or at least looked it, so I figured “that makes sense”.
Regarding the 16bit era’s box art? We’ve always have gotten shafted with bad non-representative box and manual art so I’ll blame it on that.

1. That console was not a wearable device.
2. Device was strictly tabletop.
