I don't like the Minecraft ripoff look, but I like the overall style. If the reviews are good, I'll pick it up, as I like the Pokemon universe... Just not how GameFreak often presents it; so a new take is welcomed.

Best Buy price "drop" for the Deku Tree set will occur on 11/28. Their "drops" generally see a pretty good discount if anyone's interested in this one.

I'll definitely pick up Echoes. After the Switch 2 boost to Awakening, it become playable and a joy to play. Avoided Echoes initially given Awakening's shody Switch 1 performance.

Ah, stability with no themes. Glad to see nothing changes.

The real question is, with yellow 5 & 6, blue 1, artificial flavor, and genetically modified ingredients... Will it taste like Yoshi?

Kirby's Crackler may be great fun in Kirby's Dream Land, but turning into fireworks is even better. And thus, Crystal Shards, with Kirby's Burning Bomb combo, is the best Kirby for fireworks fun. Would love to see a remaster of this gem.

Need more games to select from. Also, would like the option to some how select sounds as my ringtone.

No patch to fix the screen blackout after closing the game from the Switch 2 Home screen? Or slowing down Posiedon's dialogue? Or adding more dialogue with Moros? Bummer. But, I'll take any fixes and additions to this amazingly fun game.

I'm still having fun with in ACNH. 255hrs in and counting. The DLC and such will only further my enjoyment. Only thing that would really make this longer lasting per gaming session would be to have the option to switch to the GCN soundtrack. As for a new entry, I'm happy if they take their time, as the next needs to do something pretty radical (yet still on brand) to stay fresh.

Yes!! Here I thought I was the only one. I listen to that soundtrack all the time, but would maime to be able to play to it again. 8a, 9a, 2p, 8p, and my beloved 5p. 🥰

This is awesome!!! Was hoping they'd be really goofy and let players switch the music between GCN, DS, and this one. My kingdom to play ACNH to the sound of GCN' AC.

Oh good, I see Switch 2 is continuing Switch 1's legacy of boringly bland, blasé "special" controller releases.

This is, and will always be, my favorite Mario art style. Would love a game that has them look exactly like this.

That's the thing. They're expensive, and limited in brand diversity. I think it's either Lexar or GameStop (whoever makes theirs). I'm holding out for SanDisk, with their largest capped at 512gb still. Every new download I have to shuffle things around (and that's with the internal, and another 256er). It's getting really old!

I better go out and get a 1TB Switch 2 SD card... Oh, wait. I can't because we're four months into things and clearly storage was an afterthought. 🙄

Lifeless and flat... Exactly how I felt about Violet, so reading this review stating such for Z-A, and getting that vibe too during gameplay previews, this is a hard pass for me. And coupled with the lackluster visuals, bland character design, and confined cityscape, it would appear I'm no longer the target audience and need to stop caring and hoping for that which will never be.

The first game in the Ghost of series is the first and only game to push me to buy a different console. It's that good. Thus, while I don't care for the PlayStation, well, anything, the series is amazing. Well done to best Mario. And we'll deserved. And this comes from a Nintendo fan-person. Can't wait to play Ghost of Yotei.

Le sigh. I was hoping for an indoor Chibi-Robo/Toy Story like Pikmin game. Guess dreams can't come true.

Another reason to lament the lack of motion control upgrades to Switch 2. Shame the camera add on didn't find a way to incorporate Wii level precision, and fun, into the mix.

Read the article's title as, Mega Man 10. Got excited, forgetting that we already had 10 & 11, and need a 12, and then realized it read, Mega Man "-" 10... 😓

Great article. As consumers, it's important to know who's leading the companies we support; how we support them financially, and emotionally, matters. While NOA may not be Nintendo Co., Ltd, it's still an important arm of the business to be sure.

I'm delighted that they chose who they chose. Both as a seasoned NOAer, and as a woman. She'll bring experience and perspective that hopefully helps foster a culture of passionate leaders and gamers for years to come.

No rumble? Eh. Nice feature, but no biggie. No audio jack? That's annoying, but fine, I guess. No Amiibo support, let me pick up the broken pieces of my life and move on (i.e. who cares).

It's ridiculous that this is still an issue.

It's very cold and stale looking. I think trying to create playable characters that are one size fits all (like Fire Emblem to a lesser extent), the experience is left a bit lifeless feeling. I also wish they'd focus less on hyper deluxe radical mega gnarly massive super evolutions and create more interesting, less people-like, Pokemon. Frankly, I think the series should take a step further back in time, graphically, and do a 16-bit classic 2D Pokemon. But what do I know.

Looks and sounds fun... But, why couldn't they make it full screen? I get the homage to the 16-bit days, but this makes it a "wait 'til its 80% off" kind of game for me. Also would have preferred a SNES sound over Genesis sound, but that's just me.

Thanks... Actually, after trying and dying several times the night prior to this post, I read the news last night, got fired up, turned on the game and in one try beat Widow. I guess I just needed some rest and to vent. 🤪

The DLC didn't interest me during the direct, and this review furthered that notion. The game was already $$$, so paid DLC a month or so after release... Oof.

Fighting Widow right now... Could really use a patch to nerf her second phase, please. 🤪

Soulless, indeed, and lifeless. I thought the same thing when I first saw the trailer, and again just now when rewatching. Very one note graphically. And the ripeoff Tron bike... as generic looking as riding atop a Pokemon in Scarlet/Violet. Zero excitement from me did this trailer generate. The opposite, in fact.

I'm sadly more and more convinced that Metroid no longer contains the essence of Metroid, and it all started with Prime 3 and Other M (more so).

Metroid Prime 4... It's like they're putting pig on a lipstick.

Not seeing a huge graphical boost here. Looks like someone just dodged, burned, and smudged the rough edges, called it a day, and then slapped a hefty price tag on it.

Same. I knew it was a long shot, but still a let down.

Nintendo's first/second party stuff was ho-hum. Third party stuff had some hits, such as Hades 2. Regardless of hits and misses, it was good to get release date confirmations on several key titles.
