Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream

While I haven't played the game beyond the demo, the review noting the sharing limitations is disappointing. Maybe such is coming via later update, but it seems a missed opportunity from the start.

Perhaps a Switch app, similar to Pokemon Home, where your Tomodachi Miis and friends' Miis can collectively meet - like with Wii's Check Me Out and Everybody Votes, but expanded. I think there's a lot to be done with the series beyond the game itself to help bring people together, and spark interest in the game and other games/apps that come from it.

That's my issue, too. It's like, I'm reading the comments here and "liking" the complainers' comments, but also "liking" the praisers' comments... Because I totally get it. It's awesome to receive new games to play, but the time between drops, and often the selection offered (given Nintendo's vast library), and it's maddeningly disheartening. Like you noted, when was the last SNES update? Or worse, the last Genesis update? Here I was hoping for Sega CD or Saturn to be added, but they can't even properly support the others. It's a great service, but at the same time, it blows.

That's a great idea - I mean, just having the celestial brush strike foes would be nifty. I was looking back at its moves and so many would be amazing to play to, such as rosary. I still say let's add her to Smash now. Why wait for the next one! 🤪

Re: Nintendo Alarmo's Latest Update Adds A Wonderful Free Theme

@Grim

Most of the alarms and sleepy sounds I can't really tolerate, as they left the background noises in. That's why I like the SMB alarms, as it seems less busy and straightforward. But I agree that the sleepy sounds aren't very... sleep inducing.

@Yoshi3

That's definitely a good pick, or even the "Family" track from Galaxy's OST, the piano version of said song.

My dream would be if Nintendo would integrate Nintendo Music with Alarmo so we could customize songs and the like. It's so dumb that they are trickling updates (slower than NSO games), and doing them as individual games and not series. Like, I could see doing individual games if they pushed updates more frequently, but as is, it should be series themes, and then let users customize tracks and such.
