Re: amiibo Could Be Getting A Price Hike, According To GameStop Listings (US)

@Kiyata

I used to collect games. I brought my usa N64 and NGC down from my loft after 20 years. Didn't play on them for a year so sold them all gradually on eBay.

Just got Blast Corps left now but made a few grand as they were all boxed and in great condition.

I sell my Switch games after I've played them. I'll be selling my Switch too once the Switch 2 arrives.

I do however have all the smash amiibo on display. Even though I'm not a fan of the game.

Ebay shouldn't allow this according to their pre-order policy that it must ship within 40 business days. No point reporting them though.

Amazon UK will be relisting Switch 2 this week with no need for invitations for those in need.

I do wonder how much CEX will give for cash for a Switch 2 on release though.

Re: Switch 2 Games Cost A Bit More Than You're Probably Expecting

I expected the console to be between £350 to £400 so the digital bundle with MKW is a no brainer. No doubt MKW will be supported with extra DLC tracks throughout the life of Switch 2.

Yes physical games are a bit steep as the jump in price is a lot more than expected, but as I don't collect games but sell them on afterwards it'll work out okay for me.

Re: Nintendo: Switch 2's Backwards Compatibility Feature Is The "Best Direction" For Consumers

Nintendo won't call us players. That is Sony's slogan... "For the players."

I'm a gamer. Have been since 1991. Not sure why some in this thread dislike the term.

It's great that Switch 2 is backwards compatible for those who need it and it is great for Nintendo as they can continue to sell their Switch 1 games.
They might even bring back the select range once they no longer make Switch 1 consoles.

I simply have no time to replay Switch 1 games I've already completed though. Time to move on to the new exclusives...

They need to overhaul the eshop though as it already has so much on it, good and very bad.

Re: Round Up: 'Switch 2' Renders Suggest A Sleek, Classy Successor

With Christmas buyers able to return items until 31st January at most retailers I still don't expect any official announcement until February.

There's no big game releasing in February so it's a perfect month to reveal the actual console and the games.

Mario Kart X, 3D Mario, Splatoon 4 are pretty much likely to be out in the first year too.

Nintendo Switch 2 is the most likely name as it is straight to the point for general consumers to understand.

I'd love a snes coloured one or at least coloured buttons again.
