@Not_Soos thank you for detailed explanation. In my case it was Celeste. I completed this game in including all collectibles except for some of the Golden Strawberries. In more difficult areas I found using analog too error-prone, as I'm just not great at aiming with it. And that's how I found the problem with the D-pad. Are you sure it's supposed to be fixed in newer releases?

@Not_Soos I didn't know it was a common issue. But I don't think I have an old model, I bought it just last year. I will double check what manufacture year it is.

I don't know why, but the D-pad in my Pro Controller is not reliable at all. I press left or right and it tends to interpret it as upper left/right or lower left/right if I pressed up or down right before. It's like it doesn't "unclick" fast enough. Has anyone had this? It made Pro Controller unusable in Celeste for me.

I wonder what % of reviewers are biased by other reviewers. That explains anomalies when something is loved by critics, but hated by players (or other way around).

Luigi's Mansion is a great movie material. Kirby is way too one-dimensional to make for a good movie, unless they change his personality (or make one).

In my opinion it's not the timing that makes it weird, but the fact that they used the picture when the Queen is jumping in the muddy puddles as her memoriam photo. Like what the heck haha!

I just had one red 3DS XL. I wanted to buy New 3DS XL but I came to the party too late when it was already out of stock and was sold online for crazy prices. I wanted to experience the better 3D screen, as the one I have is rather annoying with its tiny sweet spot.

I have a very soft spot for GBA in my heart. It's my childhood, so whenever it's appreciated, I'm happy.

Is it really that gorgeous though? Looks rather amateurish to me. There are better looking GBC games.

@Mattock1987 thanks for asking 😁 I haven't played Pokémon in a while, but I always liked Psyduck, Charmander and Squirtle. I know these are not very original choices, but I really forgot which ones I liked when I played Pokémon Gold and then Sapphire.

I'd like it to have a better build quality than Switch. That's my biggest complain about Switch. Then, obviously, performance. 4K 60fps in handheld would be awesome.

Out Run is my only digital game on 3DS and I can tell it's the best version right after the arcade one. Almost perfect.

I can't express how much I love Celeste. This game is so well done on every level!

Free repairs are not an excuse. If someone produces a faulty device, especially when it's been so easy to find out and fix pre-release, they make customers pay the price of waiting for the repair and wasting time sending it etc. But that's not all. In some countries, like Poland, we don't even have an official way to fix this. I need to send in abroad. It sucks. I wish Nintendo lost the lawsuit for the good of customers. And don't even get me started on how Nintendo had a nerve to release the same, faulty joy-cons in Switch OLED, 5 freakin' years after everyone knew. That's pure customer abuse, same thing has been done by Apple with butterfly keyboards.

There are good games I love and there are good games I don't like. All 4 Wario Land instances are in the first group, I come back and play them from time to time. There is something magical about them. My favorite one is Wario Land 3, followed by 4. Then there are games like Luigi's Mansion or Sonic - I can tell they are good, but I just don't enjoy them. They're missing something for me.

@Preposterous I think the real reasons are economical. Nintendo is like Apple, only cares about their biggest targets. Poland is not the only country ignored by Nintendo (or Apple).

"To the Moon" is one of the games that I think about a lot to this day, even though playing it wasn't that fun. The story made me cry though.

Baba is a funny word in Polish, it's sort of a rude word for a woman, usually one we either don't like or a big one. Like "that rude baba from school" about a teacher we dislike. Some children also say baba as a granny.

@NeonPizza what the heck, MK8 has the best driving mechanics of all Mario Karts by far. If you keep hitting walls, my advice is to learn when to brake. It helps to use Y instead of A to accelerate, as it makes brake button more accessible.

Mario Kart Tour is a stain on franchise's reputation. I hate mobile games with microtransations. And those aimed to children (which Mario Kart kinda is) is disgusting.

@PikaPhantom I'd do the same, but I don't own a TV Glad to hear that Kirby works better. I played demo for 5 minutes when it was released and didn't like it that much, but I will probably give it another chance, because it's a platformer from Nintendo and those are among my favorites.

@Slowdive I'm still waiting for a deal for Kirby, but I'm scared that 30 FPS wouldn't allow me to enjoy it. I finished Bowser's Fury and its 30 FPS made it almost unplayable for me. But that game suffered from frame drops on top of that, so there's hope for Kirby.

I just got my Switch in the end of 2021, so every game is new for me. From what I played, I have 3 favorites: Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Celeste. I know none of those are 2022 games, but I wanted to share my experience From games released this year, I really enjoyed Kao the Kangaroo. It's quite buggy, but I love 3D platformers and I had tons of fun with Kao.

I just got all stars on Mario Kart's new Grand Prix cups. It was a lot of sweat and cursing on 200cc, especially on the Moon Cup, not gonna lie

I feel like Mario Kart on GBA is one of the most underrated of the series. It brought so many iconic tracks and I remember how exciting it was to play it on a portable device in early 2000s. It really was something special!

They are all good, but the only real standout for me is Berlin. Disappointed with Rainbow Road - they made the music worse than it was and also the visuals are somehow less appealing than in MK7.

I've seen better graphics running smoothly on iPhone 4S 11 years ago. Just sayin' to those who blame Switch.

This trend of releasing a game and then fixing it needs to go. It's the punch in a face for people who buy early. Like what are they supposed to do, play again?

They need "feedback" to figure out that 10 FPS and object float/overlap is no good?

Nintendo hates Poland. Even when games do include Polish language, their eShop won't even list it as an available language. Even for Polish games like The Witcher or Kao the Kangaroo. What did we do to you, Ninny?

@KingMike well, sure. But a great game from the 80s is like 500 times "smaller" than any modern game. And these prices after the discounts are almost 10% of the biggest Switch titles. Not sure if my reasoning makes sense, but I hope you get my point.
