@Chrysologus perhaps because it was somewhere in the middle. Old tech, but not old enough to be called classic. I was really a GameBoy junkie in the day
I feel like Mario Kart on GBA is one of the most underrated of the series. It brought so many iconic tracks and I remember how exciting it was to play it on a portable device in early 2000s. It really was something special!
They are all good, but the only real standout for me is Berlin. Disappointed with Rainbow Road - they made the music worse than it was and also the visuals are somehow less appealing than in MK7.
This trend of releasing a game and then fixing it needs to go. It's the punch in a face for people who buy early. Like what are they supposed to do, play again?
Nintendo hates Poland. Even when games do include Polish language, their eShop won't even list it as an available language. Even for Polish games like The Witcher or Kao the Kangaroo. What did we do to you, Ninny?
@KingMike well, sure. But a great game from the 80s is like 500 times "smaller" than any modern game. And these prices after the discounts are almost 10% of the biggest Switch titles. Not sure if my reasoning makes sense, but I hope you get my point.
@keiichi-desu it doesn't surprise me that much. It's because there's no other choice if you want them (legally) on Switch. But I think these prices are not cool.
I wish Nintendo stopped at 151. Does it sound crazy? Let me explain. The first batch of Pokémons, which was already big, made it still possible to feel connected to the monsters. Now there's just too many and I can't pick favorite ones etc. And don't get me started with saying how much worse the newer monsters are in terms of design, likability etc. It's just a cash cow at this point.
I hate it when people call Nintendo Switch "weak". It's not. Yes, it's weaker than newer consoles, but it's not weak. People overuse relativism. Game like Pokémon Scarlet / Violet is not something extraordinarily demanding in terms of tech. Also, it's an exclusive title. The only explanation is that the developer did a poor job while optimizing the game, period. Don't fall into this trap of thinking that "not the best equals bad". It's the same in the Apple universe - people tend to forget that the power of next gen iPhone is almost the same as the previous one. The system doesn't change much, but users would still think they need the newest iPhone to be up to date. This is just insane!
The billboard itself is really cool, but I'm so underwhelmed with all the new Pokémon designs. Every new generation has less and less inspired monster designs. Meh.

Re: Festive GBA Circuit Added To Mario Kart Tour For The Holidays
@Chrysologus sure, I meant "classic" as a root of the series. As "it wasn't the first generation".

Re: Review: Kukoos: Lost Pets - A Charming 3D Platformer Perfect For The Whole Family
@Yellowgrenade yeah, probably most of Switch games are child friendly.
Re: Review: Kukoos: Lost Pets - A Charming 3D Platformer Perfect For The Whole Family
I've seen better graphics running smoothly on iPhone 4S 11 years ago. Just sayin' to those who blame Switch.

Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.1.0 Announced, Nintendo Apologises For Performance Issues & Bugs
They need "feedback" to figure out that 10 FPS and object float/overlap is no good?

Great games, but they are still overpriced, even after the 30% discount. Like come on, they are ancient games.
Re: Video: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 3 DLC Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison
They didn't even bother putting the track names LOL
Re: Video: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 3 DLC Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison
@Anti-Matter yeah, that business practice sucks from customer's point of view. It's very convenient for Nintendo though.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Pokémon Scarlet And Violet?
@jowe_gw emotional rating at its finest.
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 3 Launches Next Month
3DS Rainbow Road has the best music of all Mario Kart tracks ever!

Re: Talking Point: Do You Name Your Pokémon?
I never rename them, but when I played Pokémon Gold, I used to only catch male Pokémons Not sure why tho!
