Re: Nintendo Remains Tight-Lipped About Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Future

I think will see the Next Animal Crossing announced by 2027, and release in 2028. if we're going by how New Horizons was announced. (Announced in 2018, it was planned to release that year, but it was instead delayed to March 2020.)
these are the things, i want to see.
1. Bring back the Shop Upgrades from the first four games. (more then one shop upgrade, basically.)
2. Optional Jobs would be cool, like how you could work with Brewster in The Roost from New Leaf, or Work With Tom Nook, from the first three games, (except instead of it being a tutorial).

that's really all i want from a new game. as for something new. i'm not really sure... so hopefully they'll surprise me.

@Mana_Knight

if you want more stuff to unlock play City Folk, New Leaf, and New Horizons (2.0 added shops in Harv's Island to unlock, 3.0 for Hotel) if you want to explore more places, City Folk, New Leaf, and New Horizons. Tom Nook's shop has 3 upgrades, in GC, Wild World, and City Folk, Timmy and Tommy's shop has 4 upgrades in New Leaf, and 1 upgrade in New Horizons,
Wild World needs another player to upgrade Tom Nook's final upgrade store, but Nintendo WFC is shutdow,n there's a mod out there and Wii U VC verison of Wild World for it to be unlock without that requirement, or get City Folk instead for it. if you want exclusive features to that no other titles have, like Cheat Codes and Raffle Tickets. get the 1st game.

as For New Horizon, while i still have some gripes with that game, i still enjoy for what it is. although many would disagree, it's not the worst game of the series, and i don't think it as less of life simulation and more of a doll house. sure there's some things that NH has that i'm not a fan but there is plenty things to do and unlock and explore. however if NH isn't your cup of tea, i say try the older titles, you may like them more then NH, or like NH more then them. it depends on what you like in each title. for me they all have things that keeps me continuing playing them, all the time

Re: Feature: 10 Years On, Is Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival Really That Bad?

aozz101x

The thing is, i think an Animal Crossing party game would had work well, this one just wasn't it imo. would like to see NDcube give it another chance, but make it better than this. most of the mini games we're definitely the best. the Animal Crossing team definitely made the right choice to add Desert Island Survival along with Animal Crossing Puzzle League to New Leaf. which wasn't part of amiibo festival, still iis my favorite mini game in New Leaf

if they ever take a crack at this again. please don't make it require use amiibo again. it's ridiculous that this game needed amiibo to play the whole game. a paid game for that matter.

YOU CAN PLAY OLD GAMES JUST LIKE THE GAMECUBE VERSION!?

can't wait for the update in January. i don't have a Switch 2, so not worry about picking that version up. might get it when i'm able to get one though.

@Anti-Matter

Nothing about the Mii Planets confirmed, but as for your 2nd question:

Also, will the new Switch version remove the stupid gimmick that keep your multiple lives for Mario back to 4 everytime you load the game?

According to Nintendo's Website (https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/super-mario-galaxy-plus-super-mario-galaxy-2-switch/)
there will be an easy mode:
"A new Assist Mode makes the game a little easier with additional health and recovery from falls, a good option for beginners or more casual players."
