I Remember in 7th Grade (A few days after Super Mario Galaxy 2 was released, I believe?) it was the last day of school, and Me and My Mom went to Gamestop to pick up Super Mario Galaxy 2. and the first thing when i got home is play it. while i liked Super Mario Galaxy more. i did enjoy Super Mario Galaxy 2 for what it was. (i still never have complete either two. and need go back to them someday.)
While i didn't see that awful E3 2008 Conference from Nintendo. I remember being on an old forum and discovered the Trailer of Animal Crossing: City Folk and was really excited for it. (considering how much i've played Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: Wild World.) we got it and a nerf game from Wii on Christmas. (about a month after City Folk was released.)
there where other games i've enjoy during Wii lifespan: The Conduit, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Sluggers, Wii Sports, Wii Play.
i have a Japanese 2DS that has a similar shell that looks like this, but it's black (i really wish that was released in the west.)
back to main topic though, I like seeing these consoles being modded into handhelds.
I definitely think New Horizons has gotten a lot better after the Update / DLC. but, i ended up deciding with New Leaf. because there we're more to unlock, mini games (Puzzle League and Desert Island Escape. Desert Island Escape is my favorite out of the two.), more Shop Upgrades, and the island was still a blast. even though i don't have a preference between the islands in New Horizons or New Leaf. i thought both we're good for their own reasons.
the Public Work Projects we're pretty cool. but New Horizons letting you put furniture and even design the road and such, is so much better. so I'll give New Horizons that one. but I'll miss the Coffee Shop being separated with the museum and being place in your town anywhere you wanted to 😢.
I'm I the only one that's not shock about this? it just seems like this was gonna happen eventually. I'm more shock that Nintendo hasn't outright bought them yet considering their relationship over the years.
The Japanese version looks more creepier compare to the West Version. (also why did Nintendo stop using the darker cover after Wii / Wii U for mature games in Japan? they look so good and fits well for them. would have been neat to see Switch having that.)
i've played few of the games she worked on, such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Altered Beast, I've enjoyed Sonic since i was Young, and i'm glad to play the game the she worked on over the years.
It's so hard to decide what Nintendo music that i truly like. all of the Nintendo games that i've play had pretty good music. can't really say there was one that was bad.
i guess the 2AM Animal Crossing (Gamecube) theme. it had one of that vibe of "time to sleep". more than the rest to me, at least imo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GS2Uf2koDI
Besides ACHN, I'm not sure about the others. but Pumpkin Hill is definitely one of my Favorite Sonic Adventure 2 levels (along with Metal Harbor and Green Forest)
Edit: I didn't see Maple Tree until now. that one is okay too.
This weekend i'll be playing
Judgement (PC): In the middle of Chapter 2, i've been enjoying it so far. and easily one my favorite games of all time. (i've been excited for this game for years now and i'm so glad that i can play it.) i will definitely be getting the sequel either December or Next Year.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers (PC): the beta came out on steam today. so i'll be trying this one instead. i'll be getting back to Xenoverse 2 this week though
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (DS): i've finally got Shadow Dragon and The Blazing Blade. i'll be focusing on Shadow Dragon first, then go from there. i've like it so far. (as to why i've invested in getting the old games and not Three Houses, is because i wasn't quite sure if these games would be for me, and didn't want to risk spending $60 outright for a newer Fire Emblem game.)
what a odd trailer for an old game. but please do more of this Nintendo. i should try out Pilotwings sometime. I've seen videos of the game years ago, but I've never got around to buy it.
Jack did a pretty good job. probably my most favorite out of the trailer. the bowser voice caught me off guard, but his performance of voice acting (weather it's games or movies) is pretty good.
Pretty Solid so far. the only negatives that i have with it is, that i would like to hear more of Mario, and was hoping the trailer was a bit longer. out of those negatives i thought it was a pretty good trailer to show off the movie. can't wait to see more
i've played Front Mission Evolved, but i've never played the main games before. I'll definitely check them out. they look cool, and very promising. (also, i've never played a TRPG at all. so this will be the first.)
Outside of the Farm Games and Square Enix stuff (minus Octopath Traveler II) i came pretty happy with Pikmin 4, The Legends of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Goldeneye 64, Octopath Traveler 2, Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, Bayonetta 3, Fatal Frame 4, and Fire Emblem Engage.
This weekend i'll be playing: Soul Hackers 2 (PC) - I'm in the Middle of Central District, i've already Beat the 1st Boss in Central District, Saints Row 2 (XB360): doing all the actives. Animal Crossing (NGC): just playing for old time sakes. Two Worlds II (PC): Continuing from the DLC "Prates of the Flying Fortress"
i loved the series back when it was airing on Disney. this will be the first time that i've played (and heard) of this game. super excited for more details. if this means that will see Gargoyles back in general. then i'm all for buying this game.
(flashback to SA1 of Big the Cat's Story.)
oh no... well, maybe they'll get it right this time? i wasn't fond of the minigame of getting froggy in Sonic Adventures
This weekend i'll be playing
Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)
Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic (Switch)
Wario World (NGC)
Paper Mario TTYD (Hard Mode, with Gecko Codes) (NGC)
I played it time to time, when I didn't feel like playing any other game. I still have it downloaded, so i'll probably will still play it. (or even play the Mobile Version of the game.)
