Not that I don' like the guy, he'd be a solid choice being one of the box art characters and all.

But having an assist trophy be "promoted" in the same game is just going to open a pandora's box of Waluigi and other assist's fans at every DLC reveal and tease that will never stop.

I dislike the US cover, It could easily be the cover for a high fantasy game, all the others are clearly cyberpunk

I just don't like any of them.

The US one is probably the best in terms of the art but at the same time it could also be for any sonic game after the first one.

Don't get me wrong I'm not opposed to an E3-less "E3 season" but man breaking it up into 30 different events is just a pain.

Man, this game disappointed me at almost every turn. On paper it sounds like gold, Xenoverse but with lots of anime characters and you can different fighting styles.

The story was meh, the art style is bothersome, the AI is pants on head stupid, and is filled with annoying design choices like having a sword-fighting style and sword cosmetic items but your character only uses their weird not a sword spirit thing.

I just dont get why I should need both the steelbook and the standard case. It first happened with OoT3D and now both cases sit on my shelf, annoying me.

before I clicked the article I decided I would tap out the second Melee was mentioned, 2nd sentence, later than I feared earlier than I hoped.

I used to care, okay care is too strong of a word, I paid attention to this sort of thing but it usually boils down to "but I want money for melee" you just don't get that sort of thing with the other eSports, you don't see people complaining Activision doesn't sponsor Modern Warfare 2 tournaments in 2020.

Star Trek birth of the Federation sparked my love of 4x games, which I'm currently playing in the form of Civ on Switch.

Star trek has be dying for an game for such a long time. I wonder what it would of been like if CBS approved of Bethesda and Biowares respective pitches

Monster Hunter. (Multi weapon like Byleth)
Dragonborn (multi weapon)

And Geralt, I don't actually want him in but he might as well add smash to crossovers.

I like E3 its the closest thing to a gaming holiday, sure the news can be underwhelming or not come to pass for years but it's the one time of the year when gamers are "looking" at the one place and all talking about it.

I think it's "fine", not bad or good.

The games I'm currently playing are at the forefront which means switching (between digital) games I'm actively playing is quick.

It's is a bugger if I'm going looking for something in particular. Of cause I'd like extra features but I can easily live with the current home UI

I was playing the XBLA demo and it just stops and the narrator goes "throats getting a bit sore, I need some lubrication" or some such and it threw up they buy now option.

At this rate we're going to be able to have a smash bros esc crossover game featuring a dozen franchises and be able to have a cast consisting only of Geralt

Remember when Ultimate was "clearly just Smash 4 deluxe", how it was a "disgrace" that Nintendo would charge full price, and how it was going to "bomb".

Well that didn't play out.

Man the environment artwork is fantastic

@Stocksy Normally a retailer will send you a code, or the code will be in the game box.

Japanese one... not that the artwork on that is good (it really isn't) but the other two make me feel like I've wandered into the wrong chatroom

tell you what, I'm entirely up for a series of retro remasters where the artwork comes from their 90's cartoon.

@fluggy Don't get me wrong I agree but Game Sharing (on both PS4 and X1) isn't really intentional it is just a loophole in the "play your games at your friends' house" account system not an official feature.

If MS or Sony decided to close it (like Nintendo) they need the other to do it too, I know more than a couple of gamesharers who'll happily jump ship if it means not having to buy "every game"

I had a strong negative reaction to those two.

I'm sure this has to do with the classic issue of licencing and actually getting games on the service. Third parties don't want to launch their classic titles via Nintendo when they can do it themselves and make all the money. Alternatively, the game contains, or the game itself is an IP without a clear owner.

Do yourself a favour and only expect Nintendo made games on these things, that way the other games are a neat surprise.

I just don't love this controller as much as I liked the normal Pro, maybe its because it doesn't have the EU SNES colouring or that with the horns the symmetrical sticks cause me problems.

I still rate it very highly, just not as high as the OG pro or the Switch Pro

I seem to recall a Streets of Rage inspired board game using a similar "track" system.

When this was first announced I knew it was going to annoy a lot of game fans, most of them don't know the games are a sequel to the books.

been reading reviews for this on other sites and man people was expecting way too much for an MUA game, they wanted a grand but focused story, the game informer one actually criticizes it for introducing more characters. can you imagine if this game out and it only had a "few" characters? The roster is what makes these games.

Said it before and I'll say it again, I find it really hard to have much of an opinion beyond "that's a bit of a bummer" without knowing how many pokemon are actually in the regional dex. If it's only got 150 that's a huge problem, if it got 400 its bearly an inconvenience (in comparison)

I feel like we can't really argue about this until we actually know how many mon are ACTUALLY in the game.

If there is only 150 (like DP BW FRLG) in the regional dex that's a big problem, however, is 400 that's far less of an issue (XY had 450+ in its regional dex).

@Savutano Normally I'd agree with you that the utter nonsense of the remasters should make anyone sceptical of this game BUT there is a problem. No developer, publisher, or even the IP holder of MUA3 had anything to do with the remasters, that was all Activision and a mess of studios, where this is Nintendo and Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja.

I would find a SNES one VERY tempting, followed by the Gameboy and GBA styled ones.

@Morpheel I think there is some confusion, on the normal one the tablet and the joycons have motion sensors, I believe the lite doesn't have the joycon ones but still has the main one.

Looks like it could be good.

I recently got to try the new Vive index, I want the controller's for non vr. Honestly being able to directly interact was far more Immersive that the headset. (The pads have a analogue stick each, can easily use one for movement and the other for looking instead of the headset). It shakes gameplay.

I'd like to watch this but I went into Fates with way too much information and it killed it for me.
