Yup, I made use of this pretty much immediately when the camera controls felt weird to me. The game world pauses anyway when you use the wind waker, so there's no pressing matters when you pull that out, but the camera will need to be used at pretty much all times, including when you're in the heat of battle and whatnot, so it's an easy choice there.

It's safe to say that the Switch 2 is off to a strong start, but will it be able to keep up this momentum? Gonna have to wait and see on that front.

And seeing game key card games doing well is actually immensely disappointing, but hey, so long as the people buying them are enjoying them, then more power to them! I just fear for what it will mean for the future of gaming. And my personal Switch 2 specific catalog will probably be rather thin as a result of this, I imagine.

I don't really see this as game breaking. Especially since this doesn't seem to work on surfaces you can't normally ink, so it can't be used to cheese your way faster past uninkable terrain. (ThatSRB2Dude tested this in a video.)

It's just a funny little glitch, I don't see it as very game breaking, or very useful at all.

@Max_the_German Except they're offering only one option for full physical cart size which is probably why so many opt in for the game key card. I still call shenanigans. More would have gone full physical if they offered smaller cart sizes.

I want it if only so I can have a controller without any kind of jank. Switch 1 controllers all have some broken quirks, mostly the drift issues, and it is annoying as heck.

Due to the price though I'll only get the one, at least for now.

Only very few titles so far making use of it. Wonder if it'll be similarly supported as Download Play was on the (3)DS systems. I'm kind of expecting not that much support for it, but I'll be happily proven wrong.

Also, I know it's because Link is the main character and all, but he should've been the knight (riding Epona), with King Rhoam as, well, the king. Just a minor nitpick, it's still a really solid looking set.

Also, the Everybody's Golf article next to this one made me think. That pose on Everybody's Golf is like, one of the most used poses for a golf game. Which makes sense, it's like the pose when you think of golfing.

So maybe sometime down the line, the box-art brawl thing can be expanded upon a little? Taking various box-arts from the same gaming genre (even if it's just within the same series) and pitting those against one another. Could mix things up a little bit, though question would be how far you'd want to take that.

Resident Evil 4 OG Randomizer!

I just got past the water hall, and if you know anything about Resident Evil 4 OG, especially the randomizer, you know this room can be incredibly toxic lmao. It was SO cursed. Two Mendez, a Regenerator, plenty stun rod guys, a couple rocket launching guys, some of those big armored island ganados. Probably the most difficult part of the game right there lol.

I think if any Nintendo game would appear there, Xenoblade Chronicles X would be a decent fit.

Though I doubt it's actually happening. Maybe AI put it there because of the X. You know, Xbox being a thing and all.

@Bigmanfan I certainly can't blame people because the game key card thing is genuinely a massive turn off for actually getting the game. I certainly won't be getting any games that release on those things. Unless I can find them for INCREDIBLY cheap which won't happen until at least a year down the line, probably several.

Man, even with the Switch 2 looming, the Switch 1 is still the top selling system. I do wonder how the Switch 2 is gonna perform.

I still have my copy of this game and I'm definitely looking forward to playing it again on my Switch 2. Although I wish Nintendo also got a version that included Heihachi and Spawn as well, but we still do have the best guest character anyway.

These are just about equal, but I gave it to the western one because Kirby has the puffy cheeks in it!

I really don't know if I want to support LRG anymore honestly. Though good on them for sticking to fully physical (for now) I guess.

I don't think it's necessarily an improvement over the static image(s) of previous games. But it's not a downgrade either. It's just different. Not a bad thing, of course!

I got 11 out of 13. Not bad! The ones I was wrong were, when did the game return on Wii U, and how many galaxies are there.

You know what. Much as I've been negative about the series, I think pokémon fans deserve this. There's plenty of places to keep complaining about the series. And it will continue to be done because, well, you know.

I wonder how well this is gonna turn out in practice though. Negative comments will probably still come through regardless.

Drop a version of the game that comes with everything unlocked or properly unlockable without paying extra, all for 20 bucks tops, and I may download the game again. Otherwise I'm not touching this game anymore.

It's funny as a meme but ultimately I personally can't bring myself to really care for this addition. I'm one of those guys who is hoping for characters with actual... character. Tosdsworth, E. Gadd, Poochy, Kamek, Polterpup, Koops, Fawful, Captain Syrup, King K Rool, etc etc etc etc.

I'm happy for you cow fans but having all these random creatures added instead of actual characters feels... really weird to me. Almost insultingly so, as it feels like a spit in the face to both the people who fleshed out these characters, and to fans of these characters.

I dunno, maybe I'm thinking too deeply into it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That does explain the relatively low price but it's still such a high quality product that it still feels like a steal.

The real reason they sold Metroid Prime Remastered for 40 bucks is so they can eventually sell the entire Metroid Prime Trilogy to us for 120 bucks without people complaining they sold a 60 dollar Wii compilation for 100+ bucks.

Japan is exactly the same but more, I guess you may prefer the western one if you don't like the faces but the Japanese one is just superior in every way.

As probably the biggest Yoshi fan of this website, I too cannot really say Yoshi Falls is much of a standout track. It is incredibly boring and bland. Maybe having it return could make it more interesting somehow. But every other Yoshi track in the series is VASTLY superior to it.

As if I needed more reason not to play this game. No thank you lol.

Not planning to get this but the two controllers I did get from 8 bit do convinced me of their high quality. Absolutely would recommend as such for those interested.

Is it like GTA where sex and drugs play into the story and environment a lot or does this game have dignity?

This may impact my decision to buy.

Much as I'd like to applaud them on it, they're also the ones not making smaller cards available for smaller games and having several others opt for the game key cards as a result.

At least we won't have to worry about the first party games though, I guess.
