@Jack_Goetz Yeah, pretty much. He's going on and on as if they invented something totally new, when it was probably Super Mario Bros. a full decade before that introduced and popularized the fine-tuned jumping mechanics using digital controls that he describes.
Personally, I didn't play the original Crash games enough to notice the jumping seeming "off" in the remake trilogy. I thought for what it was, it was a good remake and felt pretty much as I remembered it.
All options? Really? Well at what cost? $80? $90? Nintendo has pretty much lost my interest at this point. Nintendo has basically made my console of interest for at least the next several years Xbox.
This actually pissed me off, because it only pretty much guarantees that we will not be getting a digital HD edition of Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Mario Galaxy 2, the original Luigi's Mansion, etc.--instead, we have to settle with these damn Nintendo Switch Online versions, which will only last for as long as your subscription does, and as long as Nintendo decides to keep them up. But it's also a double-edged sword, because on the other hand there's no way in hell Nintendo would release something like F-Zero GX and Soulcalibur II today, so in the case of those two games... NSO is better than nothing.
@AnnoyingFrenzy Nope, never. I get information from game lists for a console as well as the types of resources you mentioned. There are too many games to go through, and although I gave up on reviews decades ago, word of mouth and suggestions and opinions from people who have played a game are still the best way to find obscure games. The exception being reviews posted directly to a product's own page directly on an e-shop, which tend to be unimformative, heavily biased one way or the other to the point of being entirely black and white, or just spammy and generally just completely useless.
I would almost have to agree with him, at least on principle... except that it's Nintendo's damn fault, they brought it on themselves for slow-walking the entire thing and purposely dragging it on for so long. If their timing was more within reason, I think I would be able to agree with him a bit more. As it stands, Nintendo was practically asking for it. In the end, what we saw (officially) was literally exactly what I would have predicted, or even expected, going back even three or four years. But at this point, the reveal was about two or three years too late.
This is news? At this point all Nintendo did is confirm certain rumors of the system's design to be true and that's it. It's more of a confirmation of what has been already been revealed over the last few weeks than a true revealing. Very underwhelming--it's basically just a modified, more powerful Switch, which is exactly what I was predicting for years, but Nintendo took far too long to finally lift the curtains. As if there was really anything to hide!
In one or two hundred years from now when all of this copyright has been expired, without some way to decrypt the data it will be inaccessable--and by that point, not only should it not even matter if the original copyright holder even cares to repackage and/or redestribute the product themselves, the data will have been freed of copyright anyway, and Nintendo will have no right to control it anymore anyway.
Sure, you could argue that we're talking decades into the future here, but preservation can't start when it's too late, long after copyright has expired and it's difficult if not impossible to find an original readable copy of the game. It starts now, before it's lost to time forever.
Sorry Nintendo, I don't buy your excuse. You're just being dicks, as usual. Besides, we all know the real reason. Nintendo is after Switch emulation because not only is the console still on the market, but the soon-to-be-announced successor will be backwards compatible with it. And Nintendo wants to maintain exclusivity of original Switch games, so you can only play them by buying a brand-new Switch 2 from them in the future.
Additionally, it is likely that the Switch 2 architecture will be very similar to the original Switch, meaning the same emulators would likely work on it too with some modifications and some additional coding around new anti-piracy measures, so Nintendo doesn't want their still-unreleased console to get a boost in emulation the second it ends up in the wild.
Eh, who bothers to read the credits anyway? I honestly couldn't care less about something I won't even pay attention to in the first place. I usually don't waste my time watching the credits at the end of movies either, unless I'm curious about a specific actor/actress or song, in which case I'll fast forward and just stop it once I've found what I was looking for.
I think the limit of wishlisted items needs to be raised, as I hit the cap hard earlier this year due to my unemployment and for the past four or five years I have been grinding hard against it. I see that as a bigger problem than the "noise" on the eShop, because the only fix is to create and maintain a second wishlist (in my case in a text file currently stored on my laptop) of links to the product pages on the eShop that I can't add.
Until I can comfortably add more, I guess you can say my desire to actually want more is greatly limited. Once I can, and therefore want to add more, shortly after I'll probably start caring about all the trash. But even then, maybe not--because don't sites like this one have plenty of articles of "best games of X type on Switch eShop?" Then there's word of mouth.
With all the raging opposite opinions on this game, I'm just getting sick of hearing about it already. Personally, I never really cared for it one way or another, and may or may not get it if I have the money some day, don't expect any miracles from if I do, and that's pretty much been my opinion of it from the start. I was never a big fan of the Mario and Luigi series to begin with. But all this bitching and moaning about it from the one side, and overapplied and blown out of proportion praise from the other seemingly just because their feelings got hurt over an IGN rating... grow up people.
Most important console? I think the NES and Super NES fit that title far better than the Nintendo DS. Hell, even talking about handhelds, the Game Boy line is more deserving of the title. I did love my Nintendo DS though, and the 3DS had an even better library of games. But most important Nintendo console? Sorry, but the DS is not it.
That is absolute crap. Couldn't even listen all the way to the end, barely got to the middle. The original was... meh... but this new version is a whole new level of ear bleeding garbage.
Sonic Adventure 2 kind of sucked so I don't really care what they do with it, but it would be great to see them bring back the original Sonic Adventure and Sonic Heroes. I'm not so sure what they could do with the Sonic Advance games, don't really know what could be done to give them the "remake" or"remaster" treatment, but I'd be happy with a simple high-quality collection of the Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush games.
Honestly, I'd rather see them kill off these crappy 3D Sonic games and just stick with the only type of Sonic they seem to be able to do right: the 2D sidescrollers. Still wouldn't mind seeing SA1 remade first though; it is IMO the only good 3D Sonic game (and even it is only "good" by 3D Sonic standards, and that's not saying much). The series only went downhill from there, and the only good games since then have been 2D games using the classic formula or some variation of it--mostly on handhelds until recent years.
Huh? Yakuza is on Switch? I thought the series was deemed too violent and "underground" for it just two years ago. Now the system is on its last legs and it's somehow worthy of a Yakuza game? Sega doesn't make any sense.
$500 is too much and I doubt Nintendo would charge that much, but to be fair its competition charges that much and they don't even provide a screen, speakers or a battery. I don't see Nintendo going below the baseline of $300 that they have set themselves, and with prices going up the way they are I wouldn't surprised to see at least OLED-like pricing. More realistically, though, I expect them to target $400--and although I'll probably pay whatever to get the damn thing, $400 is really the most I want to spend and I personally don't think Nintendo should price it any higher.
For overall design, I pick the Super NES. Bonus: These things could pack a punch, including another processing chip for more power! That's something you just don't see anymore. The label also extended to the top of the cartridge and many had a little plastic cover to protect the cartridge's contacts, which were some nice and functional features for storage. Runner up, original Game Boy or the black dual-system Game Boy/GBC cartridges, along with nice plastic cases for protection. Pure classic.
While the N64's cartridges were nothing special on their own, put one in the system and IMO you've got one very attractive console. They go hand in hand, its overall design is like a work of art.
I liked the original DS's simple square shape and black color, but admittedly by this time these things are starting to get too small. In comparison, the 3DS's notch (while necessary) and bland gray color made it a bit more boring. But at least they still offered the ability to save!
Switch... no, just no. They have truly crossed the line with these things in terms of size. They're just too small, an ugly shape, barely even have a label worth note. They don't even offer any way to save data. Might as well just use a microSD card at this point; other than preservation as physical media, Switch cartridges are just uninspired and bland and on top of that offer no potential for enhanced processing capabilities like SNES.
I picked SNES-NA, as it has a bit more nostalgia value to me than Game Boy plus utilized expansion chips for enhanced functionality with the console.
I honestly think this is a large reason why the Switch's successor was delayed and why Nintendo has been so silent about it for so long. To get those last console sales needed to surpass PS2 in total console sales.
Twenty bucks for an "anniversary edition" of a sixteen year old indie game that just about everyone who wanted to play by now, probably has. Does Jonathan really not see the problem here? Plus, it's not like he's got name recognition going for him either. I never even heard of him until I read this article. If I didn't already know what Braid was, I probably wouldn't have even clicked it.
I own the original on both PC and Xbox. I plan on getting the anniversary edition on Switch and Xbox, but preferrably in either case not for the full price.
A case where a corporation is using the legal system where it should be used, instead of against fans. Nintendo could learn a thing or two about this, although Sega is just as guilty as Nintendo and all the rest regarding Vimm's Lair.
So dumb. So I now have two NSO/N64 apps wasting space on my screen to play all the games I used to play on one N64? Messy. There have only ever been 28 M-rated N64 games to begin with and only a handful of those even worth playing, so I don't see that app being utilized much, by Nintendo or players. The console with probably the fewest games already of all the consoles on the service. That is just stupid.
6. I can't help but think some things were too little too late and if they're going to bring them out now, they should have targeted the Switch's sucessor ( ie. Stray). Other games, Metroid Prime 4 especially, looked pretty good for what they are... but screamed, "this game will also release in updated form for the Switch's successor, just watch..." DKC Returns was a welcome announcement, but I have to wonder why so late maybe to keep the series alive for a new game on the next console?
Then there were those weird ones like the Zelda game that you actually play as Zelda... not sure how that's going to play out, I thought it was a pretty dumb idea but who knows, maybe it'll actually be good. And of course the filler crap.
Overall, decent, but it really does feel like what it is: the original Switch is taking its final gasps now as its inevitable doom clutches it.
Sonic Adventure is IMO both most desperate for a proper rerelease and most deserving game in the series of an update. After that, I'd say Sonic Heroes. I didn't like Sonic Adventure 2, so I don't care what they do with that one. I haven't really played Unleashed, but if at some point they decided to bring that one back I'd probably be excited to try it out.
Remaster: Simply a port of a game's code to new hardware. Higher resolutions, improved textures, more effects, improved framerate and other improvements and new features can be added.
Remake: A game remade from the ground up with a new engine, not actually sharing any code from the original. The art style and overall graphics can be drastically different than the original, or assets can be taken directly from the original game and improved to create a faithful recreation. More effects can be introduced as this is, after all, a recreation with a new, probably better engine.
So basically, to me it comes down to either a port of the original or an actual remake using all new code. Simple as that.
Is anyone surprised? Elon destroyed the platform, and even before he had the keys it wasn't great. I'm just surprised more people and companies haven't ditched it already--it's a joke, right down to its ridiculous name and nutjob owner.
This is freaking Paper Mario, not F-Zero. 30 FPS is fine. Anyone bitching and moaning because "omg the original ran at sixty years ago..." quit whining. This is not the original. You want the original at 60 FPS? Go pull out your GameCube and play it, emulate it, whatever. Nintendo would probably be glad to sell you a nearly untouched port of the original running at 60 FPS, you wouldn't get the graphical overhaul or any of the other bells and whistles, but all you people whining about the framerate now would probably be even more repulsed by a more direct and otherwise untouched 60 FPS port. As it is, it appears to me to be a fine port.
I'm not sure more DLC would even make any sense. Shredder's Revenge felt very polished and complete at launch, and well... Dimension Shellshock added more to it and made it feel even more complete. I feel like a sequel would be a better use of resources and just make more sense. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready for something new.
I own both the game and its DLC on Switch, Xbox and PC, so I feel like I have more than done my part. I am definitely interested in what plans the developers have for the future. If it's good, I'll buy it. I was a big fan of the Turtles when I was little.
That's quite a "rundown" of features. My brain is about to implode like a supernova just thinking about all the new features available. All TWO of them. Incredible. Between the bug fixes and the new features for that ONE event, I think this will be another 2-3 years worth of content to keep the game alive for at least a few years longer!
@Samalik what good would that do in games like Arkham Knight that can't even hit 30? An unlocked 60 would not only be pointless in that case, it would be a joke. Imagine if the box advertised that feature: "Unlocked 60 FPS graphics!" I wonder if they could even get sued for that for false advertising. I mean, even if the game never gets above 22 FPS, an unlocked 60 FPS would still be "true" to claims...
You know, it's stories like these that make me actually feel good to be broke and forced to let games pile up on my wishlist for a while. Normally, a game would come out, I'd buy it--probably on day one if at all possible, or within a week. And then that full price would be going to a company that can't even release the product in a finished state. I'm thinking, even without money problems, in the future I should continue this way. If companies can't release a finished product, then maybe I shouldn't buy it till it's done--and better yet, at a discount for waiting past their official "release" date.
@S-top Simple business/economics implies that if a product doesn't sell, a company will probably abandon it and try something new/different. How would that not apply for 2D vs 3D Sonic? Sonic Mania can probably almost singlehandly be thanked for Sonic's 2D support by Sega today. If it didn't release as the digital-only market test that it effectively was, you'd probably still be stuck playing Christian Whitehead's versions of the classics on your phone and emulations of varying quality on your TV.
Creativity does not always sell, and when it doesn't, business decisions often take priority. Companies exist to make money, and creativity (and even quality) does not always win in the end. If it did, we wouldn't end up with companies like EA.
LMFAO! That's gotta be the funniest thing I heard all week. Who would've guessed?!
The good news to take from this article, in my opinion, that Sega seems to realize they screwed up. They can't blame Sonic Superstars alone on the assumption that people just don't want "classic" Sonic, and use that to bury 2D Sonic and focus only on 3D Sonic in the future. That is what a previous article on Superstars' sales seemed to imply. It's a good thing that that is not actually the case.
It's actually kind of funny that Nintendo stopped supporting a version of Android that came out the same year as the Switch. A version which, by the way, not even Google supports and receives no security updates. Now how about they hurry up and start phasing the Switch out and make way for its successor?
I feel like I was forced to sign my entire life away in agreement after agreement just to get to the title (not even the f***ing menu!) of Penny's Big Breakaway. Four agreements just to get to the title screen... seriously, this s*** has to stop, or at the very least get toned way down.
This is beyond disappointing. I can't tell if it's intended to be a joke or a slap in the face to Sonic fans. Either way, it's not funny. To be fair it's relatively in line with the other costumes, so I shouldn't be surprised. The rabbit one was the most unique and Amy had one costume that was alright, but other than that, the costumes is this game (including all those stupid Lego ones) were pretty underwhelming.
Sad. :/ Well I've done my part--I have bought the game three times over. Twice digitally, on Switch and Xbox, and a physical copy on Switch. It's a good game.
The Virtual Boy was a somewhat interesting idea back in 1995 when I was like ten years old... but it really wasn't that fun or impressive. I always went right back to my Super Nintendo. I'd rather play Genesis, or even Game Gear, any day. I never owned a VB myself, but I don't miss it. Does a Nintendo fan need to play it? Hell no. You're really not missing out on much beyond pure historical value.
There's a demo? Would've been nice to know earlier, because the reviews have really got me curious and I've been waiting for my preorder copy on Xbox to unlock. And now, not even 24 hours away from unlocking, I finally find out that there's a demo that could have answered some of the questions I had days ago as they were raised by reviewers' comments.
@Andee Are you saying PlayStation and other consoles don't have shovelware? Personally I would say the Switch had quite a good year considering how old the thing is. Plenty of good game releases.
@Itachi2099 The game's Switch update frequency does suck but I'm just glad it finally did make its way to Nintendo's system in the first place; for the longest time it seemed like it wouldn't. I mean, hell, it's still not even on PlayStation after all this time--at all! Personally I also own it on PC and Xbox and I tend to primarily play it on Microsoft's console, so the Switch version being a bit behind--while annoying--is not as big a deal to me as it could be.
Nothing dies on the internet. Like a weed, it will only pop up all over the place now, only in darker and darker places on the internet, from different people, and possibly altered with malicious code. I already downloaded it on my phone to check out when I get the time to get on my laptop, knowing 100% that this project was doomed from its inception.
I should add that I own the original GB/GBC black cartridge which I got in the 90s, so Nintendo got my (well, actually my parents') money back then. I have also bought it on the 3DS Virtual Console, and I also own the remake on Switch. And on top of that I have been an NSO subscriber for four or five years now, currently w/ Expansion Pack, and I can therefore play the game on there.
Nintendo, I own (or "rent" in case of subscription model) your game like four times over, and I still think you taking this down--although inevitable--is pretty damn pathetic. Ridiculous.
Meh... Among Us? I would rather see an official Castlevania crossover. Okay... so maybe such a big deal with a company like Konami is not so easy for an indie developer to achieve, although the guys behind Dead Cells managed to do it, but it would be the most perfect and obvious fit for Vampire Survivors. Next best would probably be Bloodstained. But Among Us? I'll have to see what it is like, but as someone who has never got into that game... this is actually disappointing.
That's what happens when you release just days ahead of a major new 2D Mario platformer... and a new God of War... it's called shooting yourself in the foot. It's a good thing Sega execs have an extra foot, but pretty soon they might need to buy a wheelchair just to get around after Sonic Dream Team is released ONLY on overpriced Apple junk. I own the deluxe version of Sonic Superstars on two consoles, but there's no way in hell I'll pick up Dream Team as long as it stays locked to Apple.

If I didn't already know what Braid was, I probably wouldn't have even clicked it.
I own the original on both PC and Xbox. I plan on getting the anniversary edition on Switch and Xbox, but preferrably in either case not for the full price.
Re: Sega Takes Legal Action Against Social Media User For Harassment Toward Employee
A case where a corporation is using the legal system where it should be used, instead of against fans. Nintendo could learn a thing or two about this, although Sega is just as guilty as Nintendo and all the rest regarding Vimm's Lair.
Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Pre-Orders Are Now Being Cancelled (US)
Translation: Don't pre-order your games at Wal-Mart.
Having worked at that s***hole and seen first-hand just how bad the place really is, this is no surprise to me--it's literally just a reminder.
Re: Switch Online's "Mature" Nintendo 64 App Is Now Available In The West
Re: Reaction: A Direct That Delivered, And Shows That Switch Still Has Plenty Of Pep
Re: Nintendo Issues Multiple DMCAs On The Modding Site 'GameBanana'
Dear Nintendo,
F*** you.
Sincerely,
A Fan
Re: Sonic Team On Remasters: "If There's A Title People Like, We'll Think About It"
Sonic Adventure is IMO both most desperate for a proper rerelease and most deserving game in the series of an update. After that, I'd say Sonic Heroes. I didn't like Sonic Adventure 2, so I don't care what they do with that one. I haven't really played Unleashed, but if at some point they decided to bring that one back I'd probably be excited to try it out.
Re: Talking Point: 'Remake' Vs. 'Remaster' - What's Your Definition?
Remaster: Simply a port of a game's code to new hardware. Higher resolutions, improved textures, more effects, improved framerate and other improvements and new features can be added.
Remake: A game remade from the ground up with a new engine, not actually sharing any code from the original. The art style and overall graphics can be drastically different than the original, or assets can be taken directly from the original game and improved to create a faithful recreation. More effects can be introduced as this is, after all, a recreation with a new, probably better engine.
So basically, to me it comes down to either a port of the original or an actual remake using all new code. Simple as that.
Re: Nintendo Discontinuing 'X' Integration On Switch Next Month
Is anyone surprised? Elon destroyed the platform, and even before he had the keys it wasn't great. I'm just surprised more people and companies haven't ditched it already--it's a joke, right down to its ridiculous name and nutjob owner.
Re: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Switch Frame Rate Revealed
Re: Poll: So, Do You Prefer Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Or Tears Of The Kingdom?
They are both equally amazing but I honestly prefer Ocarina of Time and possibly Majora's Mask over either of them.
Re: TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Dev Would "Love" To Work On A Sequel
I'm not sure more DLC would even make any sense. Shredder's Revenge felt very polished and complete at launch, and well... Dimension Shellshock added more to it and made it feel even more complete. I feel like a sequel would be a better use of resources and just make more sense. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready for something new.
I own both the game and its DLC on Switch, Xbox and PC, so I feel like I have more than done my part. I am definitely interested in what plans the developers have for the future. If it's good, I'll buy it. I was a big fan of the Turtles when I was little.
Re: Super Mario Run Receives A New Update (Version 3.2.0), Here's What's Included
[/heavy_sarcasm]
Re: Penny's Big Breakaway On Switch Is Getting A Frame Rate Update
@Samalik what good would that do in games like Arkham Knight that can't even hit 30? An unlocked 60 would not only be pointless in that case, it would be a joke. Imagine if the box advertised that feature: "Unlocked 60 FPS graphics!" I wonder if they could even get sued for that for false advertising. I mean, even if the game never gets above 22 FPS, an unlocked 60 FPS would still be "true" to claims...
Re: Contra: Operation Galuga "Full-Version Patch Update" Announced For Switch
You know, it's stories like these that make me actually feel good to be broke and forced to let games pile up on my wishlist for a while. Normally, a game would come out, I'd buy it--probably on day one if at all possible, or within a week. And then that full price would be going to a company that can't even release the product in a finished state. I'm thinking, even without money problems, in the future I should continue this way. If companies can't release a finished product, then maybe I shouldn't buy it till it's done--and better yet, at a discount for waiting past their official "release" date.
Re: Sega Implies That Releasing Sonic Superstars Next To Super Mario Bros. Wonder Wasn't Smart
Re: Sega Implies That Releasing Sonic Superstars Next To Super Mario Bros. Wonder Wasn't Smart
Re: Switch Online's Mobile App No Longer Compatible With Older OS
It's actually kind of funny that Nintendo stopped supporting a version of Android that came out the same year as the Switch. A version which, by the way, not even Google supports and receives no security updates. Now how about they hurry up and start phasing the Switch out and make way for its successor?
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd February (North America)
I feel like I was forced to sign my entire life away in agreement after agreement just to get to the title (not even the f***ing menu!) of Penny's Big Breakaway. Four agreements just to get to the title screen... seriously, this s*** has to stop, or at the very least get toned way down.
Re: Nintendo Releases Update For Switch (Version 17.0.1), Here Are The Details
Yay, yet another pointless update.
Re: Random: Sonic Superstars' Free Shadow Costume Is Certainly Something
This is beyond disappointing. I can't tell if it's intended to be a joke or a slap in the face to Sonic fans. Either way, it's not funny. To be fair it's relatively in line with the other costumes, so I shouldn't be surprised. The rabbit one was the most unique and Amy had one costume that was alright, but other than that, the costumes is this game (including all those stupid Lego ones) were pretty underwhelming.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 13.0.2 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
I'm confused. I thought they stopped supporting/updating and just gave up on this game years ago.
Re: Sega Reports 'Sluggish' Sales Of Sonic Superstars And Other Major Titles
Sad. :/ Well I've done my part--I have bought the game three times over. Twice digitally, on Switch and Xbox, and a physical copy on Switch. It's a good game.
Re: Talking Point: As A Nintendo Fan, Do You Really Need To Play The Virtual Boy?
The Virtual Boy was a somewhat interesting idea back in 1995 when I was like ten years old... but it really wasn't that fun or impressive. I always went right back to my Super Nintendo. I'd rather play Genesis, or even Game Gear, any day. I never owned a VB myself, but I don't miss it. Does a Nintendo fan need to play it? Hell no. You're really not missing out on much beyond pure historical value.
Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of The Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown Demo?
There's a demo? Would've been nice to know earlier, because the reviews have really got me curious and I've been waiting for my preorder copy on Xbox to unlock. And now, not even 24 hours away from unlocking, I finally find out that there's a demo that could have answered some of the questions I had days ago as they were raised by reviewers' comments.
Re: Nintendo Switch Was The Console With The Most Game Releases In 2023
@Andee Are you saying PlayStation and other consoles don't have shovelware? Personally I would say the Switch had quite a good year considering how old the thing is. Plenty of good game releases.
Re: Vampire Survivors Teases Chaos Roadmap, Coming 2024
@Itachi2099 The game's Switch update frequency does suck but I'm just glad it finally did make its way to Nintendo's system in the first place; for the longest time it seemed like it wouldn't. I mean, hell, it's still not even on PlayStation after all this time--at all! Personally I also own it on PC and Xbox and I tend to primarily play it on Microsoft's console, so the Switch version being a bit behind--while annoying--is not as big a deal to me as it could be.
Re: Fan-Made 'Link's Awakening DX HD' Port Taken Down By Nintendo
Ridiculous.
Re: Vampire Survivors' Upcoming DLC Features An Out Of This World Among Us Collaboration
Meh...
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
I want Choplifter... but I don't think it had anything to do with Atari other than being on the 7800.
Re: Sonic Superstars' Sales Were 'Slightly Weaker' Than Sega Had Anticipated
That's what happens when you release just days ahead of a major new 2D Mario platformer... and a new God of War... it's called shooting yourself in the foot. It's a good thing Sega execs have an extra foot, but pretty soon they might need to buy a wheelchair just to get around after Sonic Dream Team is released ONLY on overpriced Apple junk. I own the deluxe version of Sonic Superstars on two consoles, but there's no way in hell I'll pick up Dream Team as long as it stays locked to Apple.
