Then why are people canceling Netflix in droves? Look it up. I'm not the only one fed up with it. Kids are confused enough without people pushing their ideals on others with their subliminal messages.

99% of their streaming videos are garbage. It's like shopping at the dvd bargain bin at walmart. I hear lately they've been pushing some woke agenda with their shows aimed at children. Personally I find that disgusting.

My copy just got delivered! Though it wouldn't show up today but it's here! Well guess I'll be enjoying my game then. Sweet!

Me too. There was a snow storm in my area so it got delayed until tomorrow. By the time I get it everyone else will have finished it. 😔

Never thought it would happen. Let's hope the next game isn't as long a wait.

Well really I'm supporting the metroid series. We all know it needs all the love it can get and we'd like them to keep making more games.

I already ordered the switch 2 version but as long as switch 1 is still being supported ill show my support by buying a copy eventually. Kinda saving up for christmas right now.

So is it open world like everyone assumed or more Semi open? Remember when everyone thought FPS Metroid would ruin the series? I was one of those who hated the genre but Metroid Prime made a believer out of me. My copy is on it's way! Can't freaking wait!

Does the switch 2 version have it's own physical release or is it just a digital upgrade of the switch 1 version on switch 2?

Banjo Tooie was definitely the better game but the worlds did seem a bit overly large and complicated to navigate. Plus the fight with grunty was rather frustrating. Screw those maze levels though. Especially the one with the poison mist.

Well really by serious gamer I just meant one who doesn't want to miss out on the best it has to offer by sticking with one platform. Nintendo will always be what got me started but I'm not gonna cover my eyes and plug my ears if something cool releases on other systems. To me console wars are just silly.

I really need to finally play through Bayonetta 3. That whole fight between the voice actors kinda turned me off and I shelved it for years. It's not the games fault. I'm sure it's still good. Just haven't really sat down to play it yet. Also thinking of getting that prequel game where she's a kid.

Glad I gave up the Nintendo only mindset years ago. It's just not practical if you expect to be a serious gamer.

So did we ever decide if this is better or worse than the Tsushima games? Been away from Assassins creed for a while. I think I was having burnout since they were literally coming out with new games on a yearly basis. What series besides this has a new entry every single year? I don't know how they manage to keep them fresh and exciting. Imagine a new zelda every year. It would get old fast.

I don't normally play Hard modes in games but i did push myself to do it on the original three prime games. They are already pretty tough on normal mode. Metroid games are known for being difficult. It took me years to finally finish the original. I'd die over and over and quit. Too frustrating.

Thankfully later games gave you full life refills at save points and they actually had a map. To this day still can't imagine what the heck they were thinking not including an in game map on the original game.

Still mad how they did Mega man legends 3 dirty. The game was finished. They were literally about to release it on 3DS then bam canceled!

Never played the star force games but as i understand it they're kinda a continuation/ spinoff of battle network. Much like Mega man ZX was continuing the Zero series after Zero 4.

Wow took forever to get Ninja gaiden 2 on there! Yay Battletoads with save states! Only way it's actually beatable by anyone who's not a complete gaming wizard. Nice update!

You wouldn't believe how many are trashing this version online. Saying it looks like a PS2 game or it's got bad framerate or not actually the remastered version. I think it's fine but hating on anything Nintendo is what's in these days i guess.

Got a little almost 2 year old nephew that i think would enjoy me reading it to him so yeah I'm getting it. He's just starting to talk and the other day he said Nintendo and i just about died from cuteness overload 😍

He's not old enough to really know what Nintendo is yet but he's got the word down.

Finally! Now ill attempt a real playthrough of it. Started playing it back when it launched and never got around to finishing it.

Ah good ol 3DS. Still got my launch system but I've been thinking of picking up a new 2DS XL. My hands are just too big for the tiny thing and it's quite wore out at this point. Yeah the switch almost makes it redundant at this point but still love my 3DS and play it regularly!

Well it is supposed to look better on switch 2 but yeah first party games that are only on switch 2 would be a better example. Nintendo always does well at showing off the limits of their own hardware.

That'll be the day Metroid prime 4 and eventual new Mario, Zelda or other first party games come out.

Someone is gonna have to invent a way for games to take less gigabytes. Like Damn. 😲

Didn't know there was a show. Still haven't checked out Devil may cry. I may do that soon.

What exactly was wrong with the way it ran on regular switch that would warrant an upgrade? Seemed at least better than the PS3 version and that was already pretty good. Get back to me when they confirm a switch 2 release of red dead redemption 2.

Looks like it'll be awesome no doubt. Just hope it sells enough not to send the series into another hiatus for decades. I know it'll never be as popular as Mario, Zelda or Pokémon but we gotta show Samus some love!

Well Zero is my first Yakuza game. Not really sure why I'm not loving it yet. Maybe it's just kinda repetitive and the cutscenes drag sometimes. I like a story but they go on and on at times. Maybe it's just because I'm still in the early part of the game.

So what is the very best Yakuza game? I've been playing Yakuza zero and I'm honestly not feeling it with that one. It's okay i guess.

I'm the same way. I'm just no good at knowing what the heck to build or how to solve alot of the puzzles. I have to look it up more often than not. Cool that he's alot like me as a kid. On the show he even acted the same as me and likes the same things.

They really need to get nier automata fixed. I mean what is the holdup? Anyone know of any other highly popular games that don't work well on switch 2?

I noticed today that Arkham knight just got a new update but it's not a full on upgrade. Just fixes the framerate and a crashing issue. We need more full switch 2 upgrades.

Yeah retro 90s beat em ups were just like that. Didn't matter if you set the difficulty to easy it would go back to insanely difficult after a few rounds. Funny how modern beat em ups aren't like that. I usually never get stuck with an unbeatable opponent for 10 rounds straight in those. Just the old stuff.

Loved this game! Played through it multiple times on PS2! I played this before Red dead redemption and in some ways i liked it better almost. I was surprised by the voice cast too. Kris kristopherson did voice over for videogames? Say what? Cool!

He did a great job too!

These games are fine the way they are but if they really must do remakes keep it faithful to the originals. No Drastic changes. Really though a remake of Ocarina of time would be cool. I mean more elaborate than the 3DS versions of OOT and MM. Full on remakes.

What's up with people acting like the originals were such masterpieces but any new attempt to shall we say revive the series gets met with boos and hisses. The originals were never that great. Poor hit detection, Janky controls, stupid gameplay like platform jumping in the Nes games. In a beat em up of all things. 😕

I mean i never understood why people act like the originals were such blissfull gaming experiences compared to everything that's come after.

I do love my beat em ups but these things didn't really get good until streets of rage or Final Fight. Then the TMNT ones were pretty rad too.

I did love Double Dragon Neon and Ign crapped all over it and again history repeats itself here. They trashed revive too saying it's Janky, ugly and antiquated. I just think their reviewers hate the beat em up genre. If they're gonna review one it might not hurt to get a reviewer that at least has some fondness for beat em ups.

Instead they get some guy that would rather be playing call of Duty. Revive ain't gonna set the world on fire but it's not the worst beat em up ever made. I'm enjoying it for what it is.

Yeah LOL. The cheap AI is the way it's always been. The AI would read every input you made. Even if you adjusted the difficulty it would climb right back up to cheaply difficult after a few rounds. These games were made for arcades to munch quarters. That was the whole point. To sucker people out of their money duh!

This is why they released it digitally first. The digital buyers are the guinea pigs to test it for the potential future physical buyers. Still though i played it and honestly my only complaint so far is the Filters look too washed out. The home console and handheld versions seem just as crappy as they always were. The online i don't give a damn cause I'm not touching online anyway. You think getting destroyed every round by some insanely skilled kid in his mom's basement sounds like fun? I think not.

Oh well gamers will be gamers. If it's not perfect we'll riot and whine till the cows come home. We demand perfection!
