Yeah what's up with the latest Ninja gaiden games not having Ryu as the main playable character? In ragebound he's a supporting non playable and in Ninja gaiden 4 he's a side character that's only occasionally playable? 😕

Too bad they couldn't have patched the Nes trilogy back in the day to not have that horrible respawning enemy thing. If only patches existed then.

Yeah I really can't tell unless a game struggles so much it's barely playable. Like in mega man 3 during boss fights it slows down so bad it's almost not moving at all. That's one where you could definitely tell something wasn't right.

Maybe it's my age and being around since before anybody talked about framerate but I still barely notice if a game isn't running at 60 FPS. If you guys say so i guess. At least the developers are working quickly to improve the game any way they can.

I found everyone's lack of faith disturbing. Those early bad reports were probably bogus trolling attempts by people who either want switch 2 to fail or cant stand it when star wars fans might have a little fun. Haters gotta hate. I remember at launch on other platforms people were really tearing into this game saying ubisoft sucks or that the game is terrible.

Do people even enjoy gaming anymore? Well im gonna see if I can so boo on all you negative Nancys.

I thought with switch 2 almost no game should be out of the realm of possibility. I mean if we still gotta be told switch 2 isn't powerful enough to handle this game or that game then how's it really that much of an upgrade? I swear if we get anymore cloud versions of anything instead of actual games, to quote naked Snake in MGS 3, (I'm gonna puke!)

Speaking of MGS 3. 3DS got the original so why can't switch 2 have delta? Make it happen please!

The ice world where you're ice skating is a nightmare. Not looking forward to playing that frustrating crap again.

I usually take more time to finish games than most people. Probably my OCD where I feel like I have to collect every collectible or find every secret. You said Arkham took you 8 hours. For me it would be more like 15. I want to like the open world games and I used to play alot of them. I just don't get that much time to sit down and enjoy a game for as long as those take. Plus all the side tasks will drive me insane. 🤪

I generally like old games better because they're old and so am I. These days everything has to be a 50+ hour open world game and I feel like I'll just never finish them unless I play it every day for a straight month. I don't have the free time or attention span for that. Games are just too damn long and involved lately.

Imagine that. People like to own their games and don't wanna buy a hunk of plastic with nothing on it. I'm so shocked.

Yeah i really don't like it but for some games I'll just get digital. If only the micro SD express cards weren't so hard to find and expensive.

Yeah avoiding key cards like the plague probably won't change anything. Might as well get with the times and accept it. Seems like we are in the minority. Most people don't seem to care as long as they can play the game on switch 2 somehow.

I'm so conflicted on this one. I'd love to have it on switch 2 but I'd feel so dirty supporting the key card nonsense. Could they seriously not have fit this whole thing on a cartridge? I forget what they said the full capacity of those things was but darn it. I'm gonna need a new Micro SD express card soon and those things aren't easy to come by.

So basically sounds like this collection has everything before deadly alliance. Pretty sweet deal honestly! That's when MK was still at the peak of it's popularity. I actually kinda like mythologies. I rented it from blockbuster twice just to get it finished and I've played it many times since. Just a couple years ago in fact.
Yeah it definitely has it's problems. Having to press a button to turn around for one and pretty crappy responses to button presses in general. Still I'll take it. Can't wait to have a total retro Mortal kombat fit!

Why have i heard bad things about this one? I really never got too far into the first two but one day I'd like to. I just remember people saying they hated the third one for some reason. Anyone know why?

Wasn't there a recent Transformers turn based game? Battlegrounds or something like that? Was that one any good? As a kid i was totally into TMNT and Transformers. I might give this a shot.

I remember walking over to my local gamestop in the mall to pick it up on launch day in 2001. Right before gamecube released. Thanks for making me feel ancient. Now scuse me i gotta go chase some kids off my lawn and change my depends. 😝

A little disappointed that the Nes version of life force wasn't included but otherwise a fantastic collection! I know the arcade version is superior technically but those Nes chip tunes of the soundtrack are my Jam! Every song just rocks! Kinda wondering why you can't do save states on Salamander 3. I mean is that cause it's the new one and being able to save state would be like cheating?

Yeah i always figured any videogame featuring Ninjas has to be good if not great! Especially Ninja games from when Ninjas were at the height of their popularly like the 90s.

Love the messenger and cyber Shadow! The remake of Shadow of the Ninja is also quite good!

I'd say an update to mario 3D all stars that adds mario galaxy 2 would be nice. Also a brand new game for switch 2. I mean we know something has to be in the works. Super Mario bros return to subcon anyone?

Shinobi vs Ninja gaiden. Hmm which reboot will fair better? I'm gonna be on a Ninja kick so might have to play Cyber shadow and the messenger again. Go Ninja, Go Ninja go!

I love that Ninja gaiden is back in a retro style. Been dreaming about this for years but there's just one problem. You're not playing as Ryu. I wonder if that may be something that's unlockable or possibly a future DLC?

Oh well there's always Ninja Gaiden 4 coming soon! Pretty sure they said Ryu is playable at some point but yeah still he's not the main character. I'm struggling to understand this.

I had this game on snes back in the day but for some reason never got the mouse. I wasn't really into the painting or music thing though. I mostly just played the fly swatting game.

I was there when these games first hit the scene. Seeing people freak out in arcades upon first seeing the fatalities was hilarious. Everyone was like Ohhhh! Ahhhhhh! DAAAAAMN! People couldn't believe what they were seeing. Then soon after parents were out there trying to get the game banned and saying it was the apocalypse. Supposedly kids were gonna be trying to imitate the game and go around ripping eachothers heads off. 😝

Poor Ed boon and his team were probably being chased down with torches and pitch forks for corrupting a whole generation of children. Good times!

I've been playing it too much in the last few days. I'm already starting to get burnt out and I'm only on the 3rd or 4th layer. All the digging is kinda exhausting. I'll have to give it a break and play something else for a while. I'm still trying to finish tears of the kingdom, Cyberpunk and i just bought Yakuza.

I remember getting motion sickness the first time i played Mario 64. Of course that was likely because my brain was having difficulty processing what i was seeing due to the fact it was the first time i saw a fully 3D videogame. I got used to it after the first week though.

Same thing happened to me. The first hour in i kept digging and digging instead of heading for the next objective. Then i had to stop myself and said okay that's enough gotta get back to the quest here. Especially since my girlfriend was watching me play and i didn't want her to get bored watching me dig endlessly.

The guy playing Link does look a bit like him too. Never heard of these two but that's great actually. I won't be horribly crushed by the casting alone. Here's hoping for the best but fearing the worst.

Incidentally who here has heard of that Legend movie starring Tom cruise? I hear it was sorta the inspiration for the original game as well as a little Peter pan.

Please let this movie be at least intertaining. A big hit would be a wonderful surprise but not counting on it.

I heard about this thing going around where people buy switch games online and inside the box instead of the game cartridge there is a pair of googly eyes stuck to a fake cartridge. Apparently it's a scam that's been happening to people. Always make sure that who you're buying from is legit. It hasn't happened to me so far yet but that'd sure piss someone off.

So sick of hearing about steam deck. Just one letter shy of sounding like something dirty. Yeah that's a good name for a portable gaming device. Not! Who came up with that crap?

Pay disputes always sicken me. Either the actor is being greedy or thinks they're worth more money or the company they are working with is being cheap and refusing to pay what is rightfully owed. Same thing happened to Neve Campbell on the last Scream movie. They wanted to pay the young actors more than the original star and she dropped out.

Still trying to figure out what unlocks the remaining racers or vehicles. I got gold trophys on practically every cup and difficulty but the coins I'm collecting aren't unlocking stuff anymore. Also open world mode seriously needs a patch to add a way of tracking p switches and collectables.

Sure the game looks great but as a mario kart game it's a bit lacking. We need news on the possibility of DLC if any is to come.

This is definitely something i think I'd like. Always loved Castlevania and it sucks that there still hasn't been a real game in the series. Bloodstained is about as close as we've got. Haunted Castle revisited on the recent DS Castlevania collection was an awesome surprise! I also gotta check out Carpathian night featuring Bela legosi. Isn't the Bloodstained sequel on the way too? Yeah that's gonna be a big hit i think too!

I sued Panasonic, they never said i shouldn't use their microwave to dry off my cat! 😉

Why are people doing this to their brand new systems? I mean seriously how dumb can you be? If you're gonna hack/mod do it to something that's no longer relevant like the Wii.

In all seriousness though you get what's coming to you if you're using those mig carts. I don't feel one bit sorry for people using those. Maybe try legit buying the games instead of being a filthy stinking PIRATE!
