Hey. Shoutout Switch controllers for not dying after four years. Two PS5 controllers I’ve bought have lost their ability to hold a charge, both took about 4 years. My Switch Pro Controller from 2018 has zero issues

I have Coliseum on GameCube so this is exciting

Wasn’t really enjoying the demo in handheld mode. I switched to tabletop and changed a few of the settings and started enjoying it a lot more. Definitely could see myself getting it on S2 over PS5

10 years ago for Pokémon day I decided to go to Pokémon’s HQ in Bellevue, WA. You can’t get up to their floors without a keycard so I had to do a slight Jedi mind-trick to get someone else to let me up. Got up to the main lobby, and there was a statue of pikachu, bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle surrounded by completely empty, dark offices. I slightly panicked for a second, because I got scared I might not be able to get out of there considering I had no keycard. Luckily, as I turned around to face the elevator, I saw a lone secretary sitting in the back corner by herself. I asked her if anyone was around that might be able to show me something but she said no everyone gets the day off as a vacation day. Made sense to me. Anyways I asked her if there was anything I could do since I made my way up there and she recommended I take a picture of the statue in the lobby. So I did. Then she called the elevator back for me.

Been playing through Prime 1 on the GameCube recently and I’m actually blown away by how fun it is. Not sure what I was expecting but it’s surpassed whatever it was ☺️

Re-playing Bloodborne right now on PS5. It runs at a locked 30 fps and I believe 1080p. Honestly, a good game is a good game even if it’s not 60 fps 4K.

Secret of Nimh was the first movie to really scare me growing up.

Nintendo saw Pokémon Showdown’s insane popularity and said let’s just do that and make some money off it. No doubt it’ll be huge especially if it’s taking over the VGC format at World’s starting next year.
