My advice: do not buy it until you’ve played through the free trial. Once you’ve bought it/paid for a subscription, you can never access the free trial on that account again, on any platform.

Also, un-linking an account/platform from each other is almost impossible

Glad it’s been fixed. For sure gotten used to 120fps on PS5 but I’m excited to play this in tabletop mode

Mmmm you kinda do if you want to download something that’s 20GB+ when the Switch 2 has trouble sticking to a 5ghz connection. Unless Nintendo wants to put an Ethernet port on the Switch you do need to hook it up to the dock. 😅

Just downloaded a game that said it would take over 3 hours via WiFi, downloaded in 19 minutes docked. Couple that with the fact that Nintendo’s own dock is very well known, and documented, to scratch the screen and well….

As much as I hate to say it, if they really just do a ‘Switch 3’ I’ll have to skip a generation again like I did with the Wii U, and buy it way after the fact when it’s dirt chip.

The Switch 2 is teaching me very quickly the whole docking/undocking has lost its novelty on me and my brain just thinks of it as a nuisance, deterring me from playing.

The demo was fun enough that I played through it 5-6 times. Sounds like the performance holds up, so Switch 2 it is 😘👍

Legit don’t know another person who’s familiar with the series that has actually finished RE HD…. Don’t know a single other who’s even played Zero 🫤

It’s not just about difficulty or narrative. If you’re gonna recommend somewhere to start everything prior to 4 is a hard sell

Really hard to recommend RE: HD or Zero to newcomers of the series. I love and enjoy both but they’re not exactly new-player friendly.

Any of the games made since 2017 are decent starting points, although 7 & 8 really live in their own universe’s narratively.

4 is a good starting point as well, nothing beats the Wii version though 🤌

Dr. Salvador and Nemesis are such icons (both were on game covers) they’re definitely in my top 3.

Saddler’s always been my favorite though because of the banter he and Leon have…. “Your right hand comes off?!”

I’m very close to the end now… too tired though to keep playing 😴 will definitely wake up and finish it

I got extremely lucky at the end of 2024 I found an un-opened DS Lite at a bookstore for $80. The person doing the pricing simply used eBay prices at the time not realizing the difference between used/new 🤷‍♀️

Hey. Shoutout Switch controllers for not dying after four years. Two PS5 controllers I’ve bought have lost their ability to hold a charge, both took about 4 years. My Switch Pro Controller from 2018 has zero issues

I have Coliseum on GameCube so this is exciting

Wasn’t really enjoying the demo in handheld mode. I switched to tabletop and changed a few of the settings and started enjoying it a lot more. Definitely could see myself getting it on S2 over PS5

10 years ago for Pokémon day I decided to go to Pokémon’s HQ in Bellevue, WA. You can’t get up to their floors without a keycard so I had to do a slight Jedi mind-trick to get someone else to let me up. Got up to the main lobby, and there was a statue of pikachu, bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle surrounded by completely empty, dark offices. I slightly panicked for a second, because I got scared I might not be able to get out of there considering I had no keycard. Luckily, as I turned around to face the elevator, I saw a lone secretary sitting in the back corner by herself. I asked her if anyone was around that might be able to show me something but she said no everyone gets the day off as a vacation day. Made sense to me. Anyways I asked her if there was anything I could do since I made my way up there and she recommended I take a picture of the statue in the lobby. So I did. Then she called the elevator back for me.

Been playing through Prime 1 on the GameCube recently and I’m actually blown away by how fun it is. Not sure what I was expecting but it’s surpassed whatever it was ☺️

Need to see it in action before I can properly judge it
