No crashes or any game breaking bugs I've noticed. Some choppy frames but that's about it. Nothing that stops me from playing the game.

But nice to see the game getting some patches on the way. Looking forward to seeing if this game will get any more DLC. Heha, would love it. ^^

Doesn't surprise in the slightest. Haven't heard much from them in years. Let E3 die so we can all finally move on. Something else can take it's place.

I hate open world. It's confusing with no sense of direction. Yes, it works well for a sandbox game, but I prefer to have a linear path. Makes it easy to understand and play. Plus, makes story telling MUCH easier. ^^

Review is fair. Hard to ignore the performance issues. Story isn't anything too special but still nice to have. Overall, I'm enjoying the game. It's nice to play a monster collecting game that isn't pokemon.

Performance can always be optimized better via a patch or two. Not a deal breaker.

Damn, for a game that many gamers are writing off, it's sure seems to sell well. Kudos!

@rotekps_aniger It can also have the opposite affect. If a play knows how the game ends, why play it at all?

Humans are stupid with short attention spans. They'll go back to playing updating competitive multiplayer game that is popular to play at the time.

@dew12333 That doesn't bother me. Digital or cloud, I'm all for it. As the oldest of 5, I HATE dealing with the downsides of physical media.

@Anti-Matter Heha, keep dreaming. The gaming companies will do whatever it takes to save money. Not having to print out physical cartridges or disk will save them a ton. Simple facts.

This is famitsu. Doesn't surprise me they rate this game rather highly.

That being said, I enjoyed the demo. Currently playing the game now. If anything, the game is worth a solid 7/10.

Already have Dragon Quest Monster pre-ordered. I enjoyed the demo. Looking forward to the rest of the game. ^^

@Ultimapunch All irrelevant. Digital only media IS coming whether you like it or not. Cheaper on companies and easier to manage by consumers as given by this article.

As for online stores shutting down, that business. We humans end up moving on to the next thing anyway. We don't have the attention span to even remember the old games. Humans are just THAT stupid.

Seeing as everything is on a streaming app these days, yes. Love using my Funimation, YouTube, and Hulu app. Wouldn't mind seeing a Paramount or HBC Max app.

Sounds right. Physical media is outdated for the more modern digital media. Let physical media die out so we can move on.

Keep the console for awhile then sell it afterwards. Same with the docks if they don't work for the rumored "Switch 2."

Nintendo has always target performance over graphics. I don't expect to see 4k resolution. Nor does it need it.

1080p 60fps is more then enough for a Nintendo console.

I would LOVE Nintendo to go back to dual screens. The DS and 3DS were a LOT of fun. So many good games that actually used 2 screens. ^^

PC gaming is a digital only media. Console gaming WILL follow suit.

I'm all for digital only. As the oldest of 5 in my family, it saves me the trouble of having to keep track of physical game cartridge. I care about the game, not the shell it may come in.

Let physical cartridges die and digital media take over. ^^

@Paddle1 oh, I'm aware. Tech has gotten smaller and more efficient in years but I'm not expecting anything major. I'm fine with seeing the new Switch handheld with more RAM and a better CPU. That would be more then enough for 1080p gaming. Nintendo has always been able to put out great First party titles with less hardware.

This is believable. Nintendo loves using last gen's tech. It cheap and it works. No need to worry about "red ring of death" issues that you see in the new tech.

If possible, I'd love to see a new playable race be added. I know it would be hard and has to be tied to the lore somehow, but I'd think it would be cool.

I rather they just keep updating Splatoon 3 longer. Keep adding weapon kits and maps. ^^

As for a possible Switch 2, it doesn't surprise me that it would use PS3/Xbox 1 specs. Nintendo always uses last gen hardware. This is because they know it works and keep it cheaper then it's competition. I don't think I've ever had a Nintendo console or handheld suffer the "red ring" of death before.

@EarthboundBenjy No product can last forever. From a developer point of view, just making the product and see how it goes is all that matters. Sides, the app is free. They aren't making money off of it.

If pulling from one product to another help makes the main product better, I'm all for it. The Pokemon TCG app is fine but it could be polish to a better product. So Kudos on them. ^^

Sweet, Tenacity got a buff. I use that on some on my main weapon build. This'll be fun. ^^

I'm all for game devs protecting their games from piracy. But Denuvo sucks. Killing performance for protection isn't the way to go...

I'd be happy if they made a new FFCC game from the ground up. It can be the latest in the FFCC series. This way, they don't have to worry about messing an original. This new game could also have working multiplayer from the start. : P

@Anti-Matter Games known for its multiplayer. But if ya want to ignore that component, I guess you can.

This Switch 2 is gonna be like the New 3DS. It will have a faster CPU and maybe a better GPU. Which I am fine with. Oh, and more RAM. That will help. The NS is still a strong console. It just needs new hardware specs.

Give another wave but with less Sword characters. There are SO many sword based characters...

We all saw this coming. It was only a matter of time. As for the UK, they will either cave or not get any games from Activision Blizzard. Microsoft makes plenty of money to NOT rely on the UK market.

Ah, this game was so much fun. The control scheme took some getting used to but so does Splatoon. Both games are very fun. Would love to see this game on the Switch. ^^

@Moonlessky I take it the game still runs pretty bad? 30fps I can live with. But if the FPS is still dropping and the game is running slow, it's not worth it. Sad...

Say what you will about the age of the Nintendo Switch, it works. New tech in the Sony and Microsoft consoles (and even PC) is always buggy, glitchy, crashy, etc. I have not once any issues with my Nintendo console. No red ring of death or data breach *****.

@Dm9982 ah, that's what you meant. You left out the "online" in your post. PSO and PS are two different acronyms in the Phantasm Star series.

As for PSO2, I enjoyed the game a bunch. I have thousands of hours in that game. But that's with base PSO2. PSO2:New Genesis is a different game. Miley will vary but it change a lot compared to what PSO and PSO2 was.

@Dm9982 They did a port of Phantasy Star Episode 1 on Switch. Gave it some QoL. Mainly to it's UI.

Heha, doesn't surprise me too much that Bowser Jr. Is a teen. They are Koopas. So their age and growth will be different from humans. Hell, they could grow up to be in their 100s and look 40 or something.

@Axecon It's already confirmed that the Koopaling aren't not his biological children. Nintendo themselves reconned it. If anything, they are Bowser's adopted children. Who are probably older then we thought.

I always assumed the Koopaling were one year apart. Ludwig is the oldest and Larry is the youngest.

FFCC was my first into the series. Gameplay was fun but I loved the lore that was behind the spin off. I still want to get the switch version, if only to experience the story again (despite the caravaning not being exactly the same : p)

@Wheatly Since you clearly missed the point, I'll say it again. Us disagreeing with Nintendo's decisions is irrelevant.

Nintendo can do whatever they want with their IPs. That include NOT giving us what we want or what sounds like a good business decision. We can complain all we want but if they say no, then it's no. Aka, irrelevant.

I actually enjoyed playing Black Ops 2 on Wii U. The dual screen play was so much better over traditional split screen. I would love to see such a feature make a comeback. ^^

Can't wait for Advanced Wars. I wish for it to do well. Been waiting for this game for a long time. ^^
