@OldMcGroin agreed. A shame it's a hit ore miss thing. Seem to work fine with players from the same region. However, it would be nice to be able to game with some of my AUS buddies without much online play issues.
@Kalmaro Didn't they say they wouldn't be doing anything like the virtual console anymore? I thought they would just bring the games out as standalone packages and what not?
@DonSerrot The PC version has no controller support. I'd be more inclined to believe in a PC/console crossover if this was a thing. Now if they prove me wrong, then yeah. More power to them.
While I don't see PC or Sony jumping into the cross play, Xbox and Switch cross play seem to be a fair assumption. Microsoft and Nintendo seem to be a good chums lately.
@TurboTEF I noticed that too. The disclaimer did say it was still in the works. They did say the release was in 2019. Plenty of time to polish it up, and make sure the game run 60FPS easily. I mean, it do look and run well on the Gamecube days. Shouldn't be too hard right?
This just means split community on the Switch. They should make it so that regardless of the game, if it's online then you have to have the online membership.
@edgedino I believe the article has been updated with that info. The Switch version is a collector version. Base game plus all DLC for $40 bucks. Not a bad deal.
Dang, Sega Ages still hasn't come out for the US yet. I would love to actually play the first Phantasy Star game. Love the series since Phantasy Star Online. Would love to play the game that got the series going.
@edgedino each DLC pack came in with 4 new playable characters. Each one was a different race with different abilitee and play styles. It had like 3-4 I believe. So fair amount of content. It also got some new card. The board looks the same but I believe the spaces might be randomized.
@Blizzia Your questioned seem answered but yes. The game play like a board game. Up to 4 players try to save Armello.
This may be a hit or miss since I have the game plus all the DLC on pc. Now, if the Switch version includes all the DLC, then I may be swayed to get the game.
@Heavyarms55 agreed, now the Nintendo Switch online community will be split. You'll get the free to play only users and the Nintendo pay sub users. Not a good move at all.
@Frendo Um, news flash, PSO 2 already has a english patch for the PC version. A big dedicated translation team lead by AIDA has about 90% of PSO2 translated, the missing 10% being some story, flavor text, and untranslated stuff like admin messages.
@Cobalt ah, so you actually have a WiiU. Which make sense. Though keep in mind, the ports are being made due to the fact the WiiU did horrible in sales. Since the Switch is doing so well, and many never really bothered with the WiiU, it makes sense for the ports to have another shot.
@Cobalt heha, well damn. Maybe the Nintendo Switch just isn't the console for ya. Many of the ya listed as not interested are the reason why players get a Switch.
Oh well, everyone has their own taste of game and such.
@Zeraki agree, give me a stable 60FPS any day. Or at the very least 30FPS. No fun having a game that looks great in HD if it's running in like 20FPS a second or less.
@Alcovitch I can deal with the 60 bucks. That's normal for any game that is released new on console. The fact that the game is bugfy and glitchy as hell is a deal breaker. I would like for my console games to work, thank ya very much. : P
It's very doubtful that Nintendo would set up a paywall for their online service yet only allow free-to-play titles through. I agree with @Heavyarms55, this would be a huge mistake on Nintendo's Part. Fortunately, this is just a rumor. One that I feel will easily be debunked.
@Blizzia yawns Like I said, I wish I was. But if say so. You CLEARLY seem to know my mental state. Takes one to know one I guess.
I wouldn't really say it's a common features. And even if it is a standard features, Nintendo loves to try and experiment and follow their own standards. Which is a thing I admire about them. They aren't afraid to take risk. The Wii U is a perfect example. It flopped, but an interesting concept.
You tried to make a difference but wasted so much effort in doing so. It's more trouble than it's worth.
Anyway, this argument has lost its touch. I'm getting bored trying to think of what else to say to ya. Plus, I'm sure anyone reading this is finding this either funny and/or stupid. Mostly stupid because I doubt anyone really cares.
If it makes ya feel better, we can say you won and I lost. Winning seem to matter more to you then it does to me. Nothing change while we were talking. shrugs oh well.
@Blizzia Heha, just cause I'm a sadist, doesn't mean I'm triggered. Hell, I wish this would hit a nerve and trigger me. Be a lot more fun. : P
You seem to be doing fine without any support from someone like me. Like I said, plenty of guys wasting the effort already.
Capable of making the change, yes. I would welcome and be very surprised if they did add what you are asking. But just because they can, doesn't mean they will. By the time it does come around, people will have moved on to the next game or thing to enjoy and argue about.
Clearly, we have different ideas of fun when it comes to friends. We love getting the chance to own each other. Just makes us want to play the game more. Sides, it's always satisfying to see or hear the dissapointment or anger when they loose. And funny, can't forget funny. ^^
I'm content with playing the game as is. As do many others. If they make a change, fine. Gladly eat my own words. If not, oh well. At least I won't be annoyed, dissapointed, or angry because I didn't get what I wanted. Cause you sound really pissed off that this "play together" feature isn't in Splatoon.
@Blizzia Pretty much just arguing for the sake of it at this point. Not like I have a life to get back to. Plus, I love seeing prescious snowflakes get triggered. : P
I don't believe I said Nintendo was infallible. They aren't perfect by any means. I just don't see the point of wasting effort into trying to change something when it won't happen. There are plenty of people, such as yourself, that already do that. I rather be in a fight I can win, not a fight I have no chance of winning.
Yes, it's 2018. Your point being...what? We can just snap our fingers and things magically change? It doesn't work that way. Current year argurement doesn't seem to apply.
Also, pretty sure that if you and your friend are in the same lobby, your playing with a friend. Regardless of what team you guys are on, your playing a game together. Your playing with a friend.
@Blizzia Each player motivation is different. Just cause you find this stupid doesn't mean everyone else believes it is.
Many games require you to level up or reach a certain point to unlock ranked mode or league play. It is a design in the game, whether you like it or not.
You can only have fun when you on the same team with your friends? That, I find rather dumb. Fun is subjective. The game is still being played by many. Someone must be having fun. It just happens to not be you.
I call it minor because that's how I see. The game is fun to play and that is enough for me. Not every game made is going to be a 10/10 for everyone. That's impractical. Also, I don't really see many team shooter that are like Splatoon. Least not any that are worth mentioning.
IF, and if, Splatoon 2 or later in Splatoon 3 they update the game and change how the matchmaking works, fine. I will gladly eat my own words. Until then, I will accept the reality that the current matchmaking isn't going to change. We all know how stubborn Nintendo can be when it comes to their first party titles. Just cause you voice something, doesn't mean it will be heard. You don't always get the what you want. That's life. Sad, but true.
@Bliquid I just said he was in the minority on this. I don't believe I said or even implied he was wrong. It be relevant otherwise. There are plenty of choices on ways to play with your friends in Splatoon 2. That fact that he's doesn't like how it works is his own problem.
@Syrek24 Thank, another point well put. And Splatoon 2 is doing well outside of Japan.
@Blizzia heha, you appear to be in the minority that see this as a bad design flaw. Whether on the same team or not, you ARE playing with friends. The fact that your not on the same team all the time is irrelevant. Splatoon may not be the game for you if your going nitpick over something so minor. Unless an update changes this (which is unlikely), you need to adapt and accept this how the Turf War Matchmaking works. Either that or move on to another game. Simple as that.

@Cobalt well put.
Re: It Turns Out Blizzard Won't Actually Be Adding Cross-Platform Play To Diablo III
Sad but not surprising. Maybe in their next game.
Re: Blizzard Intends To Add Cross-Console Play To Diablo III
@Dirty0814 I'm gonna be realistic and say it will only be Switch and Microsoft. Sony has weird a policy with cross play and PC is hit or miss.
If it happens, great. If not, then it's expected as much.
Re: Blizzard Intends To Add Cross-Console Play To Diablo III
@Mountain_Man I figured as much.

Playing Armello for the Switch. A friend and I got it as a game to play online together once in a while. Game is a lot of fun.

Re: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Will Be Digital-Only In North America
Not a deal breaker. I prefer digital to physical anyways. I have a big capacity micro SD card for a reason.
Digital releases are becoming the norm. Will never understand why people get so butt hurt when a game doesn't get a physical release.
