@Daniel36 Good luck, I don't see them patching the game just for the sake of Couch Co-op. Granted, seeing how the game plays, the coding seems to be. Just a matter of IF they want to do it.

Least the game is $30 bucks and not a full $60

@MagnaRoader You can still just get the main game for one and let others player via the lite version. Long as the host buys the game, you can still play the rest.

Still rather dumb how Square Enix desigb the multiple. My only grip is that you can't see the overworld events with your onw little party.

@MagnaRoader The region lock only only applies to the matchmaking system. You can still play with each other through the invite/friend system.

@SwitchVogel Really? There is no way to enjoying the cutscene in co-op mode? That sucks..

@SwitchVogel Wait, so let me see if I understand this. Progress is only made on the host save file, not everyone. The home village is only solo content? That sucks.

What about the over world cutscenes? Is that solo as well or can you at least see it with the rest of the caravan players?

Lack of local multiplayer isn't a big lost. Most games today are played online anyways. The fact that the game is region locked is small downer. I won't be able to play the game with my AUS buddies...

@MegaVel91 I know it's in the west. I play the game all the time.

I SAID it would be nice for NA version to be on Switch as well. Not just Windows 10 and Xbox. I don't think I mention anything about the game not being in the west at all. DUDE...

Be nice to see PSO2 and PSO2: Genisis on Switch outside of Japan. But seeing it come to Windows 10 is good enough.

Nice to see the game actually have a global release then a JPN exclusive.

Nice, good chance to see how this game plays on the Switch. Wouldn't mind having another fighter besides Smash to play.

I saw this coming. I knew the remastered version wouldn't support local multi-player. The way the trailer showed the game and how the UI looked, it wasn't happening. Plus, given that everything is done online these days, local/couch co-op is a thing past. Sad but true.

Hopefully it won't be the last Splatfest. Even if they just re-hashed the old splat fest teams, it would still be fun. A chance to breath more life into Splatoon 2. ^^

I'll never understand why people get so worked up over a day 1 patch. It's a common practice these days. 1 GB update? That is small and nothing to complain about.

@status-204 @Samwise7 Status is right. There is a reason why China is THE place for manufacturing products. It's quick, cheap, and low cost. Even with this outbreak, I don't see that changing anytime soon.

@00-Aretha Isn't the reason the parts are made in China to save money? Cheap labor and cost of parts. I don't see them pulling manufacturing out of China anytime soon.

@Zeriitas I don't think I mentioned anything about Ultimates input. All I said was that Rival of Aethers is clunky. And that I prefer ultimate instead. Both are my opinions from playing both games.

Also, my gaming rig is over the recommended system specs. The movement felt clunky and I'm sticking by that. Just cause I don't like a game that everyone else seems to like, you want to attack for me it? Yeah, okay. Whatever.

I wish a release would be announced already. Been waiting for this game too long now.

I'll stick with Fire Emblem Warriors and Hyrule Warriors thank you.

@Investor9872 In NA, it was announced for PC and Xbox 1. While Japan does have it for Switch, it's a cloud game. NA isn't so lucky with cloud based gaming yet...But we can dream.

Great multiplayer racing game. Now just gives us more DLC for it already. Like new tracks. ^^

@patbacknitro18 When you go to the quest board, you go to party quest > single system. These are online mission that will allow you play them by yourself or with couch co-op.

@patbacknitro18 They do. There is an option to play the online only mission on one console. You still have to be connect to the internet but you would be playing solo or with any friends on the same console.

@Ragdoll72 Nice to hear about the patch addressing some of the loading issues.
And yes, it's a fun game to play with friends. One of the few games that made cross-play from the start and easy to play with anyone. ^^

Has some performance issues, but nothing that stops the actual gameplay during the hunt. Fun F2P game with cross play to boot. Your not losing anything with giving it a try.

@Blizzia I agree on that. Smogon have too much of an elitist attitude. I'm glad the VGC rules don't follow them. Looks like Competitive Pokemon Battles are split into another meta once again.

Fun game, needs a review. ^^

@ButterSpill Judging by the Tokyo demo that was shown in the past couple of months, it's unlikely. The way they did the menu is an overlay style. Makes it great to play from one console but I don't see it working well with local co-op. MAYBE they could squeeze in two player from one console, but couch co-op gaming is a thing of the past. Only one doing it now is the Switch and even that is slowly dieing..Couch co-op that is. Switch is still going strong.

Can't be mad about this delay. With so many game being releases in 2020, makes sense to release the game later. No competition means better chance of selling.

Nice. Game is finally out for Switch. Can't wait to give it a try with a buddy of mine.

Sides, the Switch is doing fine without the "extra" features. It's not needed. Would it be great? Yes. But not needed.

@koekiemonster Wasn't the point of the Switch OS not to be bogged done by such features? Ya know, to avoid the same issues that ran into with the Wii U OS.

Can't satisfy everyone. This is for people that have money to spare anyways.

Nice to hear. I'm sure many players are tired of seeing dude everywhere. Nintendo does do a pretty good job with mixing the player base. In comparison to Microsoft or Sony, I do see more female gamers popping up in Nintendo Discord groups.

Huh, this review doesn't mention the online multiplayer. That is the big concern with this game. If it has it, I may get the game down the road.

I'd like to see them bring the rest of the Wii U library to Switch. I believe the only things left that are worth it would be Star Fox Zero and maybe the Wii Sports series? Would love to see Wii Bowling for Switch. It's a great game to play with family and friends. ^^

@Ludovsky Sorry, Rivals of Aether. I never tried out Brawlout due to the mixed reviews on that game.

@Ludovsky It felt clunky. The graphics were nice but the movement just isn't there. Glad I was able to refund the game.

Eh, this game looks nice but didn't care for it when it was on PC. I got Smash Ultimate for Switch for my fighting game itch.

@retro_player_22 Don't forget the people that are playing it on Switch for the first time. Or the ones that only have a Switch as their major gaming console.

Despite the negatives DQ3 has on Switch, the game is still fun to enjoy. Nice to play one of the original DQ3 games on a modern system. ^^

@entrixx Nintendo has always done the Achievements per game in game. I don't see them trying to "copy" xbox/ps4/steam to do a OS achievement system.

A classic RPG ruin by a few modern art choices. Still, seems like it be a decent game to play at least once.

@SyFyTy oh, I hardly ever win a debate. But they do offer some good entertainment. Especially here at work. Bored as hell here..

But it does prove the point that YOU choose not to pay for internet. What is stopping you from installing internet in your home?

@SyFyTy doesn't change the fact they are still the minority. Everyone has equal access to the internet. Whether they choose to pay for it or not is irrelevant. If your homeless or fixed income, maybe buying video games shouldn't be on your list of things to do.

@blackbox64 I couldn't agree with ya more. There are far worst things to worry about then some who is spending to much time gaming. Gaming disorder..sounds like a total joke.

Curious if this will be part of the 2.0 balance patch they mentioned a few months back.

@Daniel36 I'm pretty sure it was a toss up between online play and couch co-op. Given that 3 of the 4 "consoles" to play on are mobile, online play was the better option. Couch co-op, unfortunately, is slowly a dieing feature..
