The price could be $500 dollars and I'd still buy it. As long as it continues to be cheaper then their competitors, Nintendo console will always sell.

Perfect timing. I haven't gotten the Sun break DLC for the switch yet. I do have it for PC, but I miss my motion controls with my Bow. Much easier to play (for me) on Switch over PC. XP

Nice. Good for Dragon Quest. It's a great series. Would love to see a more flesh out "monster" side series after this. ^^

I didn't see it mentioned (or I missed it), but Dragon Quest 11 S is on sale again. Finally getting my hands on this game. Can't wait to play it. ^^

Judging from the comments, you're in the minority. If you can't pay the expensive price to play video games, then you shouldn't have gotten into gaming in the first place. Simple facts.

@Maulbert That's irrelevant. A remake is still seen as a new game. Plus, there are plenty of gamers who haven't even touched the series.

As I said before, gaming is an expensive hobby. If your not willing to spend the money, it's time to find something else to keep your time busy. Gaming is NOT for the cheap and frugile.

Putting aside the fact that gaming is an expensive hobby to begin with, I'd still want to get this game. I never got to finish the original Dragon Warrior 3 game. Be nice to play this version and complete it. ^^

Already have it pre-ordered. Love the Mario Party Series. My family always have fun with it. ^^

Heha, very true. Nintendo start trends and does its own thing. Something I like very much and is lacking from Xbox and Sony PC boxes. XP

FF14 would be well suited on a Nintendo system. I can see it being on the Nintendo Switch 2. ^^

@-wc- I grew up when the GC was out. I remember many gamers comparing it to the Xbox 360 and PS3(?). I go by what happens, not what's on paper.

Beside the point, I'd still pay $500 bucks for the console. To me, as well as to many others, that price is still low. I'm also a realistic. So if the console come out at $400, then it's a win. If not, still a win cause I didn't expect myself to be disappointed by copium.

@Deviant-Dork Agreed, but I don't want Nintendo to pull a Sony or Microsoft and starting favoring graphics over gameplay. That is the main reason I stick with Nintendo. Gameplay I can't find anywhere else. ^^

@Not_Soos As I mentioned before, your forgetting about I inflation. $500 for the Switch 2 will be a low ball number in 2025. Plus, gaming is expensive to begin with. If you aren't willing to spend a lot of money, your in the wrong hobby.

@-wc- Okay, there is a different between power and well optimized. The GC is well optimized. I wouldn't say it is a power house when compared to the 360.

@InfamousOrange This is Nintendo, remember? Power has NEVER been their strong suit. I can see them doing higher FPS but not 4K. Maybe 1440p but even THAT'S pushing it.

Given that so many people forget inflation is a thing, $500-600 bucks is fine.

Just got into FF14 due to some of my buddies wanting me to join in. Loving the game so far and would love to see it on a Nintendo Console. The gamepad controls are solid. It be a good fit for a Nintendo Switch or Switch 02.

@larryisaman Oh, I'm aware it's not the hardware's fault. GF didn't optimize the game well at all. But we all know GF can just make a sub-par Pokemon game and it will sell like hotcakes. Hence, why I'm wishing luck the Switch 2 will be enough to RUN the future Pokemon game.

While true, here's to wish luck that the next Pokemon games have better performance. We know the Switch 2 will have upgraded hardware. Shouldn't be hard to get stable performance when the time comes.

Eh, Digital media for me. Physical media has too many pitfalls. They are easy to loose, easily damageable, not very portable, and takes up valuable physical storage place.

Digital media is easier to handle, usually cheaper, portable, and not very easy to loose. Digital only era will come. Maybe not next gen, but it'll come. It's only a matter of time. ^^

People say they won't support company, but that only last for so long. Especially in the gaming industry where greed is king. Both for the corporations and for the gamers.

Not surprise. Third Party titles are hit or miss when it comes to Switch optimization.

Already an advocate for Digital games. Don't have to worry about losing them via pets or my younger siblings. Save me on space and storage when I have to travel.

Whether we like it or not, Physical media is slowly on it's way out. It happen to PC gaming, it will happen for console gaming. There is no avoiding it.

@Corvus96 PC gaming already does digital only and hardly anyone complains about it. Once console goes digital, we'll have some big complains for a few months, then everyone will get used to it.

Like or it not, it's gonna happen. There's nothing we can do about. Makes me wonder why complain about it in the first place. If you can't beat em, join em. Simple as that.

@Corvus96 Most gamers have short attentions spans. Once they beat a game, they rarely go back. So the fact that games won't be "owned" anymore is irrelevant.

@Markiemania95 Towards the end of it's life span. They released a Red Nintendo Wii without a disk reader or GameCube backwards compatibility. I think it may have been a mini version but not quite sure.

Sad but expected. Nothing last forever. 3DS was a very fun handheld but it's time to move on. Focus on the Switch (and the possible Switch Revision/2/Pro).

@IceEarthGuard It will happen in the next gen or so. Xbox and Sony already have Digital only version of their current consoles. Even Nintendo did one with their Nintendo Wii. As I said, it's coming a LOT sooner then you WANT to believe.

@Ogre84 Agreed. They are just wasting time, money, and effort on making physical releases at this point. Much cheaper to go pure digital.

Sides, the "collectors" only care about the box art anyways.

No need to rush. The Switch console is still strong. It's the games that matter.

Nothing lasts forever. Though, I am curious how many more 3DS will be ported to Switch and/or PC. ^^
