Only use for Dock play so still in great condition. Original Joy cons still work. Have yet to get the joy con drift issue that other claim to have. A few smudges from use, but Switch is still going strong since the day I got it. ^^

Depending on the evolution, first game where I pick a fire pokemon as my starter. I'm usually a grass or water starter.

Better late then never. Honestly, game freak should have handle this like they usually do. This secondary dev team is decent at best.

Monster Hunter Rise is one the best games for Switch. Can't wait for the Sunbreak DLC. : P

Got my new Dock. Looks nicer and having the built in Ethernet port is nice. To confirm, the built in Ethernet port does run at gigabyte speeds. My Switch is finally hitting the download/upload that I pay for. : P

Thanks for the heads up. Been watching and waiting to get my hands on the OLED Dock. It'll be nice to actually have 2 docks set up in my house. ^^

Decent MOBA with a Pokemon Skin. Ranked does need work. I would love role and Pokemon locking like you see in LoL. It would at least encourage players to actually play their respected roles.

Let Nintendo experiment. One of the reason why I like them so much. They try to be different from Xbox or Sony. Whether the end product is good is up to personal taste.

Chibi art isn't a big deal. But the EXP share is a little disconcerting. EV training Pokemon is gonna be a slight pain.

Not surprised by the answer. It was nice to see the question asked during the survery but we all knew Capcom wouldn't deliver. My only reason to double dip would be 2 things.

1) Cross-play/Cross save feature.
2) My friends getting the PC version.

Seems like my 2nd reason would be a reason to double dip.

@Judgedean Definitely sounds like it's using USB 3.0 speeds at least. Now I MUST have this dock. I can't get more then 30 Mbps via my USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter.

Yes, please allow for crossplay. At the very least cross-progression. The FPS difference won't matter much in a co-op game. Hell, Dauntless plays like that. It has cross play with 30 FPS on Switch and higher FPS on others. It's doable they just have to make it happen.

Looking forward to getting my hands on that new Switch dock. Haven't seen the Nintendo Store put it up for sale yet.

The loosing streak thing is with any game with a competitive element. Best to walk away and try again later.

Still enjoy the game. It is a game that is best played with a group. I remember having a few "clan" battles in the early days. Those were a LOT of fun. ^^

Nintendo own their IPs. If they want they want to shutdown fan projects, they have the power to do so. The public may not agree, but nothing we can do about it.

@abdias Have 3 younger brothers and a younger tomboy sister. The nerf guns were popular toys in our family. It help settle many arguments. : P

The docks is what I' mainly interested in. I hope it's a gigabyte LAN port. It would be a huge plus.

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Downloading an update for any "physical" copy of a game is standard practice these days. We should all be used to it by now.

The game should get more DLC or at least give us some info on a new Mario Kart 9 or something.

GBA game would be nice. I don't see it happening anytime soon. Now if the WiiU was still around, then it be possible. : P

I don't have any issues with my Switch console. My joy cons also don't suffer from the drift issues gamers seem to have.

Give me some details on the "Pro" version first before I buy please. ^^

I'm not a big retro gamer so I can do without the virtual console system. Eshop shop music and animations would be nice.

Though, I'd rather they put their efforts into the Switch's online system and infrastructure. It works but could be better.

Master or G rank would be nice. Maybe seeing one new biome would be cool too. Would help to bring some old and new monsters to the game.

If the Switch Dock does get a firmware update, I would love for the USB 3.0 input to actually run at USB 3.0 speeds. It would allow for 3.0 USB Ethernet adapters to run at Gigabyte internet speeds.

Right now, it's only running at 2.0 speeds...

I would love to see a Star Fox game on the Switch. Never got a chance to try out the remake on Wii U.

I didn't like Monster Hunter till Monster Hunter World. That entry made it very easy for newcomers and off putters to get into the game with ease. Hearing Rise having some QoL taken from World, I'm looking forward to this game.

Plus, another game to play for my Switch. : P

@Dryden Heads up, seems the pre-order for the pro controller are up on Best Buy and Gamestop for US costumers.

I guess it's something. Being able to keep the same party to do other dungeons is nice.

Now if they DO make it possible to gather Myrrth and/or do the Moogle letter together, that would be nice. Be tempting to actually give the game a try.

I enjoyed One Strike as well most of my family members during the Thanksgiving holiday. Even got the DLC because of it. Going to have to give these other free games a try.

I'm hoping it does decent. I wouldn't mind seeing a few games that wouldn't work well on Switch be cloud version. PSO2 Cloud for example would be a nice welcome addition. Along with any other free-to-play titles.

My switch dock already has a wired connection. If you have the option, wired ethernet is always the better option.

@Zimon Many would love that idea. Course that require them overhauling the current way multiplayer works. Low chance of that happening.

They should at least make it so you can swap host around or have characters that qualify get drops of Myrrth.

@Daniel36 To answer an old comment, the region lock applies to the friend code system as well. The one in the FFCC RE that is. An AUS buddy of mine and I tried to add each other, we got different people with the codes.

In order to play with anyone from a different region, both player must DOWNLOAD the game from the eShop that it in the SAME region. In this case, he either needs to download the NA version or I need to download the AUS version (which at the moment is impossible right now).

I guess this is something. They are at least TRYING to fix it.

Now if they could remove the region lock, that would make so many of us happy. I'd settle just to have that removed.

@Ulysses Agreed. The remaster may have turned out much differently if they decided to focus on the console only. Hell, if it was just Switch only, local co-op MAY have actually been a thing.

@Daniel36 We'll just have to wait and see. True, old fans of the series are mix and will probably wait it out to see if anything changes. Wouldn't hold my breath though. We'll see how the game handles in a week or so.

I'll wait for a sale or something since I have plenty of game to keep me busy anyway. But I don't expect any "local co-op" or "cutscene with other players" patch happening anytime soon.
