As I play mainly in Docked mode, this is point is moot for me. LCD screens never bothered me. If they do decided to do an OLED, expect a price hike. XD

10 for me. Love the gameplay, cutscenes are nice, and the expanded lore is great. If they could expand on the multiplayer in an update or future titles of this series, that would be great. ^^

More of StarFox as I'm it's my newest game and getting most of my attention. Splatoon 3 as it's my favorite eSports game, and Pokemon Champions as it's the new season.

Hmm...I wonder if StarFox will update their multiplayer to included a "Ranked" system. XP

Glad to see this game got a good review. All the fans enjoy the 64 version and the Switch 2 remake hit all the buttons plus a few more.

Crossing fingers for a sequel to this game. I know many of use would LOVE a proper sequel. And no, I don't mean a Star Fox Adventure. I want to see a sequel that sticks to the rail shooter gameplay we all know and love. Maybe bring that the idea of "StarFox Armada" or the canceled 2-player mode that was in the SNES StarFox 2 game.

New Star Fox timeline so new VA of course. I can see why many nostalgia fans will prefer the original VA to the new VA.

Personally, I believe they did fine. If they decided to use this same cast for a Star Fox 2, I wouldn't complain. Hell, I just be happy to see a sequel to this game. ^^

@Mommar sorry, I guess realistic is the wrong word. I guess the new style is more for "realism" or something? I don't know the proper term. XD

I've gotten used to the character design. Yes, I would have preferred the stylized design but the realism designs are fine. The graphics of the ships and environments are VERY cool. Gameplay should be great as well. Can't wait for the release at the end of this month. ^^

@KasperDG Not surprising. This is mainly to target new players, not existing ones. Those who are already into the game aren't going to jump ship from their PC/Xbox/PS5 to play on Switch. SE knows this and players will be fine with it.

Glad it's coming to a Nintendo console (finally). And with the combat changes coming in the new expansions, good time to jump into the game when it does. XP

Knockout City was a good game while it lasted. I'm expecting StarFox for Switch 2 to play very well. ^^

There is never a time when a TCG isn't going to go from a hobby to work. Especially if it has a competitive presence. Gamers are extremely competitive and will want to win at any cost.

Interesting but still prefer to the other team. I'll wait for that team's game.

Nintendo Fanboy here. Of course I was going to love it. Big N still makes games I can't find on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.

Not unexpected. It will bounce back just like it did when this happened last time.

As long as gameplay doesn't take a hit, go for it. I'll take mild use of AI tools over a game made entirely of AI any day.

Looking forward to Star Fox. Already got it pre-order. I enjoyed the 64 and 3DS remake versions, I'll enjoy this one just the same if not more. The multiplayer has my interest and I'm crossing fingers they can expand on it in the future.

For me, this would be the 2nd time buying it. I wouldn't mind it for the extra performance.

@KayFiOS I wasn't joking. I'd be happy to see more multiplayer features added. What we see in this remake is the first step.

This is also a new timeline so we may not even see Krystal this time around. Let's see some new characters instead.

Given how the world economy works, along with the BS going on in the states, I wouldn't be surprised for a price increase on both the hardware and games of Switch 2. Even it goes up in price, many people will still pay for it.

Gaming is a luxury and it always will be. You will always pay a premium for it.

The designs are eye catching to say the least. Definitely a conversation topic. XP

Link will always be a left handed Swordsmen. Very few characters are cool as a left handed user. ^^

@DominionGamma I'm sure a Switch 2 pro is down the line at some point. It's par for the course. Either way, I'm fine with a stable 30 FPS. Now if the performance drops to single digits, then that's not okay.

30 FPS isn't the worst thing in the world. As long as it stays stable, I'm cool with it.

Huh, this may actually make me want to give the game another shot for the 4th time. I've tried it 3 different times on PC and just couldn't get into the game.

Having it on my Switch 2 console is more enticing compared to PC. ^^

Diablo 4 on the Switch 2 would make it more enticing for a console and couch gamer like me. I have a gaming rig but I honestly have more fun with my Switch 1/2 then my PC. Keyboard and mouse do NOT work well with my muscle memory. XD

Give it time. The game will either get fixed with added Pokemon, Items, and Balance changes. If not, it will crash and burn. Given that Pokemon Champions WILL be the go to program for official VGC play, the former is likely to be true.

Ouch. I wasn't expecting a smooth laugh but this is rather much. I was looking forward to it as well. Crossing fingers they fix all the bugs soon as I rather have an official Pokemon Battle Simulator then the fanmade one.

@hol_up Beforehand, Pokemon have adjusted moves and stats per game or per generation. If this Online Only Battle simulator is the way to go, this would allow them to adjust Pokemon per season instead. Especially if they plan to have this be the main way to battle in VGCs.

I can easily see this being a thing. If a Pokemon stat is too high, a move is too op, or a strategy being to broken, they can nerf and buff stuff on the fly. ^^

@Araquanid Since Pokemon is pushing Champions and it's the official VGC way to play Pokemon battles, it will be popular. Especially since most casual users want ease of convenience. Not everyone is tech savvy to figure out Pokemon Showdown. Or have the patience to figure it out and actually use it.

I'm glad Pokemon has an official battle simulator. I hated using things like Pokemon Showdown that followed the VERY strict rules of Smogon instead of the official VGC. I'm not surprised by the monetization since it's a free to start and on mobile, but I'm still looking forward to the game. ^^

@HammerKirby For the minority of players. For the casual and console only users, this is perfect.

Either way, I'm all for an official battle simulator that follows the VGC rules. Damn smogen rules want to block everything. No use of evasion? That's a core stat of the game!

Nice. I got this game during the sale when it was released for the Switch 2. Got my friends into the game as well. It's a nice co-op game to play every now and then. XP

@contractcooker Yes, but people tend to ruin names for everyone. Especially teenagers and kids who LOVE coming up with the stupidest of names just to be funny.

Fine by me. I never understand why gamers feel the need for such vulgarity in their games. It's Pokemon, rate E. Of course it was going to fly with Pokemon or Nintendo. XD

This is Sony. They've been butting head with Nintendo and Microsoft for years. The fact they have it running (wether it's running well or not) is probably just to see if they could. Whether we see the game being release is a low chance.

It's Pokemon. Makes sense.

I enjoy the Gen 3 remake of these game. Fixed many of the problems that Gen 1 had. No online play makes sense Pokémon Champions will be Pokémon's main way of battling online. Glad they will have Pokémon Home compatibility. ^^

Glad they made the game more Arcade then the last one. Much more fun and easier to get into for casual fans of such games. Plus, gives us scrubs a chance at actually winning in ranked matches. XD

Already got mine. If the price increase happens, it happens. Nothing you can do if all the RAM and PC components go up in price. It's either raise the console prices or raise the price of games. I'm personally fine with either as this is the economy we choose to deal with.

Not a big fan of the HP bars. To me, I see it as more clutter in a game with already too much chaos. XP

@Wewewi oh really? My understanding was that Nvidia g-sync is hardware based and only works on Nvidia GPUs and monitors with a Nvidia Module. Meanwhile, AMD Freesync is software based because it can be used on anything.

@Haruki_NLI Ah okay. I wasn't sure if VRR was hardware or software based on the handheld. Thanks for the correction.

@carlos82 Maybe but VRR only works if the FPS can stay above 40FPS. If the game dips below 40, AMD free sync feature won't kick in.

Nvidia Gsync could do VRR that low but I don't think the Switch 2 uses hardware VRR but software VRR. (Though, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.)

@GoproGO Playstation and Xbox advertise themselves as media boxes. Nintendo Switch advertise themselves as gaming devices. While a media device is expect to have a streaming app, a gaming device is not. While it's a nice addition, it's not needed. My Phone, Chromebook, Smart TV, and/or PC can fill that role with ease. Let my gaming device be what it's for: gaming.

@Strawblaze Your right, the consumer has a choice when buying whatever they want. They can choose to buy a Nintendo Switch/2 to play games or a PC/Media/Laptop for internet and streaming purposes. I don't know about you, but I buy a Nintendo gaming device to play games, not stream TV shows.

@Serpenterror I wouldn't say dedicated console are going to dye out. For one, PCs are still VERY expensive and not exactly user friendly to those that just want to play games. Troubleshooting a PC alone is a nightmare.

With consoles solely being made just to play games, it makes them easier to use and less likely to have any problems. I've had maybe 1 tech issues with my Nintendo systems. Which compared tech issues being had every other day (I wish I was making this up) of a Windows PC, it's perfectly fine to have.

Not surprising. Streaming apps aren't much of a thing nor needed for the Switch line. Major people have a laptop, Chromebook, or smartphone for such things.
