Re: Is Mario Kart World Getting Donkey Kong Bananza DLC? Datamines Have Fans Speculating

Scapetti

Which fans are speculating? These things won't be linked at all...

Not only is it very unlikely you would even be using the Donkey Kong theme come December 15th. But why would the team designing what to display for each day of the month on a mobile app... have anything to do with the team working on Mario Kart World DLC?

Edit: It's not even just for December 15th... it's the 15th of every month of the year! How many times do we think he's going to get released?

Re: Review: NBA 2K26 (Switch 2) - Brilliant B-Ball Has A Disappointing Debut On Switch 2

Seems strange considering WWE 2K is 60fps. I guess 2K don't give their sports games the same oversight.

That being said, reflections were the one thing taken out of WWE, and with them being such an expected part of NBA. Maybe that was just what they chose to do. Sacrifice 60 for reflections...

Still, I expect (hope) later iterations will perform better once they have more experience with the hardware

Re: WWE 2K25 On Switch 2 Is Missing Certain Cross-Platform Benefits

Glad IGN amended their article. I sent them an email to fact check after they said no customisation was available at all...

I'm not sure how big of a deal it is but the switch 2 community creations are slowly filling up. Think we are on about 10+ pages currently.

I was kind of surprised this image uploader thing was allowed anywhere. Surely the only images people actually upload are copyright infringement.

But I reckon it could just be because they don't have storage servers for Nintendo yet. Perhaps they want to see how well it sells. Because apparently NBA has an image uploader on Nintendo.

Maybe there are security concerns with these image files.

Let's see though...

Re: Feature: 27 GameCube Games We'd Love To See On Nintendo Switch 2 NSO

Scapetti

Viewtiful Joe, Super Smash Bros Melee and Star Fox Adventures are my top picks, because they're all on the edge about whether they would actually get on the service any time soon.

Viewtiful Joe because... Capcom

Super Smash Bros Melee because Super Smash Bros 64 never made it

And Star Fox Adventures because Donkey Kong 64 hasn't made it

Edit: I'd also love Kirby Air Ride but Air Riders might be a remake?

Re: Feature: Switch 2's Mouse Support Is Exciting, But Which Current Games Might Also Benefit?

Scapetti

Super Mario Maker 2 is one of the very few Nintendo developed games that doesn't appear in the banner behind the "You can play Nintendo Switch games on Nintendo Switch 2" text on the Switch 2 website.

Someone grabbed the image which showed them all and it was missing.

So I'm pretty convinced it means we're getting a new Mario Maker either shortly after or at launch

Just going to casually start that rumour now...

Re: 36 Longest Switch Games Worth Playing To The End

Scapetti

Anyone else here confused that they think Spelunky 2 takes 27 hours for a single run?? Maybe if you've never played a game before... heck, on a first play, if you play online, someone can carry you through the game in 30 minutes... and you've basically seen everything 🤷‍♂️

Edit: I mean it's hard sure... but it's still a quick game. Compared with Binding of Isaac where you actually NEED to complete it multiple times to unlock everything

Re: Nintendo Adds Multiple Upcoming Releases To Its Switch Voucher Program

You can get four brand new Nintendo games worth £200 for £134.40 !! Or worth up to £240 if you only buy the most expensive games on offer!

That's crazy savings. Shame DKC was overpriced to begin with though.

And a bit of a gamble on the other games considering their releases are way off. Always some other games you can get though. Like the two zeldas and smash bros for £60 each if you haven't got them already!

Then if you're even smarter and buy with discounted eshop cards online. You could potentially get four games for the price of two! You could get it very close to costing just £120 for four £60 games! Not badddd

Edit: it would still cost £168 (or cheaper with discounted eshop cards) but you get a LOT back in gold points for other purchases
