Anyone else here confused that they think Spelunky 2 takes 27 hours for a single run?? Maybe if you've never played a game before... heck, on a first play, if you play online, someone can carry you through the game in 30 minutes... and you've basically seen everything 🤷‍♂️

Edit: I mean it's hard sure... but it's still a quick game. Compared with Binding of Isaac where you actually NEED to complete it multiple times to unlock everything

Has Mitch tried "checking for corrupted data". Seems overkill to say not to buy it because it's not working for one person... I haven't heard anyone else with this issue

We really need the licensed Sunsoft games... Gremlins 2, the two Batman games and Fester's Quest

And a bit of a gamble on the other games considering their releases are way off. Always some other games you can get though. Like the two zeldas and smash bros for £60 each if you haven't got them already!

Then if you're even smarter and buy with discounted eshop cards online. You could potentially get four games for the price of two! You could get it very close to costing just £120 for four £60 games! Not badddd

Edit: it would still cost £168 (or cheaper with discounted eshop cards) but you get a LOT back in gold points for other purchases

Bit surprised to find out there's a scaled back roster considering how ridiculously massive the roster seemed to be to me when I loaded up the game and went through them all... guess they will be added in periodically.

Perfect Dark cheats from transferring with the GBC game are included too. They weren't exclusive and could be unlocked anyway but a nice timesaver

Just wish we got the licensed games as others have said. Would love Digital Eclipse to have done a sunsoft collection.

I guess a Batman game collection wouldn't be the end of the world if it had the sunsoft games and capcom, if it is easier split licensing that way. But I'd be missing that gremlins. Maybe a bare bones gremlins release like the bill and ted one would at least be okay

@UltimateOtaku91 true, I played psychonauts 2 on cloud and many of the gears of war games I missed out on. And wolfenstein. It's pretty great. But not enough on there now that I've not played to make the price worth it for me. Maybe worth it for halo mcc... just wish all these games were on switch. Could have sworn there were rumours of halo mcc on switch. I don't think it's the mostly unlikely thing in the world.

@CairiB if only... I can't see an official announcement so I'm not holding out hope. Might be a switch 2 release

Whenever people say they'd have preferred Origins over this port of Knight, a part of me dies... it's not even a bad port, it's just unfinished. I just hope they're still working on patching it

Guarantee this game will get more patches considering the delayed release. Which excites me because it already looks pretty damn good. If they can fix the stuttering I'll be happy. Hopefully things will be in a better state by the time I'm finished with the first two games

It's only recently been becoming an issue for me to be fair but now I'm just surprised it doesn't exist. You can search when creating folders -shrug-

Makes sense. Why re-license when there's a sequel which I imagine is essentially the same game. Doubt enough people were buying it. Pretty sure the fifa games would get delisted each year due to licensing but it was rarely talked about

@JohnnyMind Right about Red Dead, I have amended. I was thinking of the British £40 price. Still though, have you played this game? Because it's starting to sound like you haven't. I have, it's a great little game. But it's not $20. It's like $5 or less. I never felt compelled to replay it.

So people just need to keep in mind that you're spending $20 for a 15 minute experience. Not an argument, just a fact

Call people out for suggesting $50 is too much for a game that has 20 HOURS of gameplay and came out less than 15 years ago (Red Dead Redemption). You're in the wrong comment section

It is a VERY short game. Can be completed in 15 minutes. Most people would have just wanted it added to NSO without the bells and whistles

Shame it was so cheap on virtual console in comparison... I hope we get a way to play some licensed sunsoft games at some point. With the TMNT collection and the upcoming Jurassic Park collection among others. It's no longer completely unlikely. Batman on the NES and Gremlins 2 also were fantastic

There was this old indie game that I was trying to remember for the longest time. Eventually refound it. I don't think it ever got finished. It was called Balding's Quest. Possible that it partly became Spelunky

This is a 100% buy for me. £40 feels very appropriate. Excited to be replaying one of my favourite games of all time!

I like to think of Pikmin 3 as the sequel to Pikmin 1 and this game as the sequel to Pikmin 2. They were both designed quite differently. The first game was about being under pressure with a time limit and the second game was more of a collectathon. Personally I really loved Pikmin 2 back in the day so I'm excited that this one is more similar to that design

@Jeronan No one was playing splatoon 2. I think splatoon 3 is WAY better. So many improvements. One being that I can actually play in handheld at better angles

@TheBigK Colgera is a piece of piss. You can literally just shoot arrows at the underbelly sections in bullet time, and it only
takes TWO arrows for each section.
