Re: 36 Longest Switch Games Worth Playing To The End

Scapetti

Anyone else here confused that they think Spelunky 2 takes 27 hours for a single run?? Maybe if you've never played a game before... heck, on a first play, if you play online, someone can carry you through the game in 30 minutes... and you've basically seen everything 🤷‍♂️

Edit: I mean it's hard sure... but it's still a quick game. Compared with Binding of Isaac where you actually NEED to complete it multiple times to unlock everything

Re: Nintendo Adds Multiple Upcoming Releases To Its Switch Voucher Program

Scapetti

You can get four brand new Nintendo games worth £200 for £134.40 !! Or worth up to £240 if you only buy the most expensive games on offer!

That's crazy savings. Shame DKC was overpriced to begin with though.

And a bit of a gamble on the other games considering their releases are way off. Always some other games you can get though. Like the two zeldas and smash bros for £60 each if you haven't got them already!

Then if you're even smarter and buy with discounted eshop cards online. You could potentially get four games for the price of two! You could get it very close to costing just £120 for four £60 games! Not badddd

Edit: it would still cost £168 (or cheaper with discounted eshop cards) but you get a LOT back in gold points for other purchases

@Automated_Unit_4937 Instagram too, youtube channels, maybe even just a selection of fan websites. The writers on this website have their own opinions. It's fine, it's whatever.

I don't think this article will get many people using bluesky, so for the majority of people it's a bit wasted... it's fine though... doesn't matter

Re: Feature: 20 Great Gaming Accounts You Should Follow On Bluesky

I don't know if I can get behind twitter alternatives. I can't see them gaining enough popularity. Too many people are still using twitter. Even Threads is a complete ghost town and that's by Meta...

People want brand new things. Not the same old same old. Do something new with a social network, do something unique

Re: Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked Crashes Onto Switch In June

@Ralizah These Limited Run Carbon Engine rom collections are insanely overpriced.

And after what's been going around about Limited Run releasing games on CD-Rs I'm losing a LOT of trust in them :/

I've bought a few of these Carbon Engine collections and they're atrocious.

These could have and should have been released on NSO.

Re: Sunsoft Announces 'Retro Game Selection' For Switch, English Release Planned

Scapetti

Dang, got excited until I saw the games included. But then I got curious because I've never heard of any of these and would be interested to play them!

Just wish we got the licensed games as others have said. Would love Digital Eclipse to have done a sunsoft collection.

Gremlins 2, Batman.

I guess a Batman game collection wouldn't be the end of the world if it had the sunsoft games and capcom, if it is easier split licensing that way. But I'd be missing that gremlins. Maybe a bare bones gremlins release like the bill and ted one would at least be okay

Re: Sea Of Thieves Could Lead To More Xbox Exclusives On Other Platforms

Scapetti

@UltimateOtaku91 true, I played psychonauts 2 on cloud and many of the gears of war games I missed out on. And wolfenstein. It's pretty great. But not enough on there now that I've not played to make the price worth it for me. Maybe worth it for halo mcc... just wish all these games were on switch. Could have sworn there were rumours of halo mcc on switch. I don't think it's the mostly unlikely thing in the world.

Re: Sunsoft's Game Boy Platformer Trip World Launches On Switch eShop Next Week

@JohnnyMind Right about Red Dead, I have amended. I was thinking of the British £40 price. Still though, have you played this game? Because it's starting to sound like you haven't. I have, it's a great little game. But it's not $20. It's like $5 or less. I never felt compelled to replay it.

So people just need to keep in mind that you're spending $20 for a 15 minute experience. Not an argument, just a fact

Re: Sunsoft's Game Boy Platformer Trip World Launches On Switch eShop Next Week

Scapetti

@JohnnyMind not everything has to be an argument you know... never stated whether I'd purchase it at this price or not. Really not sure why you're defending the high price. It is highly priced for what it is, regardless of the additions.

It is a VERY short game. Can be completed in 15 minutes. Most people would have just wanted it added to NSO without the bells and whistles

Re: Review: Pikmin 4 - Relaxed, Refined Real-Time Strategy, Ready To Crack The Mainstream

Scapetti

I mean Oatchi is your other protagonist. He can whistle and use pikmin just as your main character can.

I like to think of Pikmin 3 as the sequel to Pikmin 1 and this game as the sequel to Pikmin 2. They were both designed quite differently. The first game was about being under pressure with a time limit and the second game was more of a collectathon. Personally I really loved Pikmin 2 back in the day so I'm excited that this one is more similar to that design

Re: Review: Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine - A Bit Of A Grind

Scapetti

@Sisilly_G You overuse the oxford comma IMO, I'd be getting impatient if you were speaking like that aloud. The use of it before your final "and" is fine, but in the first sentence it is completely unnecessary as it is already quite short

Also, British here, I don't like that you'd want to say Fetus's
