At this point, we're all aware that there are plenty of different things to see and do in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, along with an equal number of ways to have fun simply exploring Hyrule and messing about with the world around you. Having said that, here's something we'd never have thought to try in 10,000 heroic years.
YouTube user ThornyFox has posted a video showing one heck of a journey through Hyrule's grassy fields and rocky hills, where Link decides to put saving the world aside to bend the rules of space and time. Remember the Old Man, who you first meet right at the start of the game? Well, what if we told you that there were actually multiple versions of the Old Man, and that they could meet each other?
"The old man you meet in each location is a completely different NPC," ThornyFox explains. "He just has a bunch of clones to make it look like he gets around fast! So I took the old man to meet another version of himself. It's a family reunion!"
How do you take an NPC to a different location? Well, you spend ages sprinting directly into them to nudge them a few pixels at a time. Here's what happens when one Old Man meets another:
Was all that effort worth it? Probably not. But hey, here's yet another example of something we didn't know you could do in this monster of a game!

Considering what he is, it stands to reason, that he may be able to multiply himself.
No logic error here
Uhm that must have taken hours upon hours upon hours to do. All that time running into a NPC for basically nothing. Out of the many BotW videos that have come around, this is the most batsh** insane one I've ever seen. Hands down.
All that painstaking effort for no reward and a few YouTube clicks does not seem worth it.
A lot of work for two old guys to play a game of chess.
@Kirgo The Old Man could be hand waved with logic, but I saw a video with a similar concept in which a guy makes Beedle meet another Beedle. EXPLAIN THAT! (I'm just joking, of course)
Someone did this already with the bird bard. Can't remember his name.
@dux
Easy.
Beedle isn't a person, it's a franchise.
The School Of Beedle is a prestigious institution.
lol that's a funny video, what an interesting discovery.
@Rob3008 I expected it to take hours but it was only a 30 minute journey, so it wasn't too bad
@Daniel36 that video is the reason I did this lol. His name is kass btw
@ThornyFox Pretty funny video. I'm too lazy to take 30 minutes to do this lol. Great job man!
I remember seeing the Kass video a while back but it's interesting to see that this can happen with other npc's that also can show up in multiple locations. I commend the effort!
@PoliticallyIncorrect thanks!
@ThornyFox Ahh yes. Was that you as well? The crazy stuff you can do in this game, haha.
@Daniel36 that was an old YouTuber named Nesis who used to make funny NPC related videos
Useless QA from Nintendo to miss this! Was this game tested at all?!
