Makes sense. Pokémon games on switch looked ugly as hell and ran like crap. Also it seems they are making some efforts to make the game look better for once.

Looking at the comments, most people just want to talk about their first and favourite Zelda game. Maybe it deserves another article.

I played the original Zelda on 3DS not too long before BOTW came out and never finished it entirely.

I'll stick to emulation if the official way to play retro requires a subscription.

I'd pay 10€ to play wario, but definitely not a subscription, nor an overpriced piece of just.

Hopefully the next pokémon game isn't too polished. I'd hate for Game Freak to spend too much money on a title people will buy regardless of quality.

They seem to have fixed a good 0.00001% of bugs. Keep at it guys!

They have yet to fix the Lynel that doesn't drop anything in Hyrule castle. Unless it's part of the several issues they fixed. They really need to give more detail in their patch notes

@JimNorman "free updates". Is there a publisher who has ever made a paid update? Unless human greed has reached this level, I don't think you need to specify it's free.

Whether it's major or just minor bugfix, an update is always free. Not to be confused with DLC or upGRADE which are often paid content, in which case it makes sense to specify when it's free.

Also he made over 150 millions a year he was destroying the company and sacking everyone in sight. 15 millions is nothing in comparison.

That's a French company alright (I can say it, it's my country). A strike won't do anything except put a target on their back, so they'll be the first to go.

Sadly, Ubisoft will trim the fat if they want to start anew. They have become way to big, slow and sloppy. They need an actual restructure and put people who decide much much closer to those who actually make the games.

I won't believe Ubisoft improves until I actually see it. But it will start with massive layoffs like we've never seen.

I only hope those who get fired, and want to remain in the game industry, will manage to land in a good studio. I really believe Ubisoft if full of extremely competent people who just gave up because of the monetisation slop and the awful management. They need to get rid of the Guillemot family and relatives entirely.

Whatever happens, I just want those who still love making games at Ubisoft to make games as good as their golden age, so they can be proud of it, whether it's withing Ubisoft, or with another studio (like Clair obscur!).

I'm not sold on this one. It's giving me GaaS vibes aborted at the last minute in favour of solo/co-op game. A bit like the last dragon age.

That makes sense. Who would even want to play a polished game by Nintendo when you can have 1 minute approximation of soulless empty gameplay vomited by a so-called AI.

Chrono break, which will be better than chrono trigger with the best graphics ever seen in video games, running perfectly in 4K/60FPS on Switch 2, with an RRP of 60€, no DLC, with a physical release (not a crappy game key card) that includes an old school booklet.

I don't expect to see this, but I'd like to.
Also a Chrono trigger reimagined would be awesome.

First, they need to figure out how to optimise their game. I guess they ran into a brick wall when they tried to port it.

That's the problem with most AAA games. They are made so even high end PCs can't run them on max settings at release. But devs are so focused on ultra powerful devices, they have no idea how to run them on weaker ones.

It's weird how Sony and Nintendo randomly have weird censorship problems on their platforms. That reminds me of DMC5's censorship on PlayStation.

If they are clever enough, they'll make it coincide with a model with longer battery life. I'd pay an extra 50€ for double the battery life.

I replay it every other year since the switch release date and get sucked into it every single time. It will be my GOTY every year it gets re-released until they make a better Zelda (TOTK is great, but I prefer BOTW).

People don't know what the 2 means in switch 2, so it will fail even harder than the Switch. They should have named it New Switch U XL

Safety should start with banning micro transactions all together. At least the predatory ones.

For the rest, they can commit to anything they want, parents will never respect the age restriction. That's why so many 12yo are playing COD. This is probably why they censor PEGI18 games. To protect kids who shouldn't be playing them in the first place.

BOTW Switch 2 edition isn't on the list. My GOTY 2025 doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

Also you're comparing 2 completely different games. Metroid is usually focused on isolation and Xenoblade is about relationship.

Metroid prime 4's dialogue just reminds you how much is lacks the atmosphere of a Metroid. I don't need a looney tune talking to me every 5 minutes,.

The opening clearly shows Metroid prime 4 takes place at the beginning of Revenge of the sith. I'm sure we can see Obi Wan and Anakin's ship somewhere in the background.

I really hope this game doesn't kill the franchise. It was a real disappointment compared to other Metroid and Metroid Prime games.
