I mean they probably could do it again and even might but I'd rather they make a lot of changes to the base map this time.

It's nice in TotK (and yes I did not expect that but they showed they could do it again well) but it'd be nice to make something more new as the base map next I think.

I think open world is the right choice and a different era of Hyrule with a different base map is the safest bet on what to do, the idea of a third TotK map might be safe and/or easier for them to do now but I think they probably will go for a different era this time.

I expect them to come up with some ideas that will surprise us but yeah those two are the safest bets right now.

But they could give us a different area in the Zelda world outside of Hyrule or anything at this stage.

Underwater exploring could be fun and cool and I'd like it, as long as the controls are handled carefully but I'd assume if they do that they will take great care in making sure of that.

I think WW style map is a possibility on what could be done and islands with seas is something they'll probably try eventually but I'm not sure they'll do that next though. It's possible.

I expect they'll mix things up though and have more than just one surface map with what they do next, as long as they think they can make that during the development cycle. I expect them too, following TotK idea of 3 maps to explore in a way. Underwater could be one way it could count.

Not too bad from the previous date given. It's not really a compliment though with how long it's taken since S&V release.

Can't understand why it's had to take this long, feels like they didn't priorities something important after getting the profit but I guess I don't know for certain.

It doesn't really effect me but it's an important part on what the game should be offering much closer to release, the features of backing up and transfering Pokemon.

Yeah they're all really cool. The rocket would be OP though if they lasted too long. I still use that fuse the most as there places where you just want to get higher up quickly and can't ascend but it's true they don't last very long.

I like how Link can skate on rails with a good shield fuse, too.

55 hours. But it's the only Switch game I've been playing lately.

It's very enjoyable to just explore anywhere.

The game feels it can go on for much longer and I'm still taking my time with the main story quest. I'm a bit surprised how long I've spent though, I thought it was about 40-45 hours.

TotK like a lot of people. I'm surprised at how many shrines I've done. Just keep marking them on the map and going to them eventually.

The ones I've done have been really fun so far. Just going to keep taking my time.

One nice thing about a lot of shrines is that it creates a lot of quick teleporting points.

It depends if "soon" is around the same time as the recent release date. Otherwise this feels like a complete joke.

10 for me. Almost any complaint I had with BotW is addressed here and even things I wouldn't think of complaining about.

BotW still gets a 10 from me too anyway.

TotK is really amazing though. I just find it incredible in a lot of ways so far. Really really well done.

I've only done 1 dungeon but assuming the others are similar, it seems the puzzle elements are easier than divine beasts but the theme element is way better than the divine beasts.

So I'd say a huge step in the right direction but not there yet, I think they can improve and do better but for me I still like the 1st dungeon better than divine beasts. I'm still happy to give this game that's amazed me (or keeps surprising me in a good way) a 10.

I've not been waiting for this but I still want to say finally. It was promised ages ago but at least it's coming very soon and close now.

I doubt they'll fix performance issues and buggyness now but hopefully they'll care about the issue going forward with their games. They might, so time will tell. I'm not normally bothered by this. Didn't bother me in Pokemon Legends Arceus. It does bother me here as it just seems a lot more extreme.

Despite that, I've had a lot of fun with Pokemon Scarlet anyway and would say it is still a very good Pokemon game.

That's fine by me. I do miss some of OOT, WW and TP formulas, especially the traditional dungeons they had but I have so much fun with BotW and now even more with TotK and it feels the format works really well. It's quite different but it works. But those three games are still very good, too.

I'm not surprised though, it looks to me that the overall popular opinion is people prefer the open world format and I do as well.

And on top it just makes sense to expand what they have and have been doing, at least for now.

I'd love to see a WW style game with the open world format sometime. I think eventually they'll try something with that. Not sure what they'll do next with the open world format for now though. It could happen next but it could be something else.

I got scared from turning this on for so long because of that erasing data bug but it sounds like I should be okay, else I can contact Nintendo to get the data back.

I did play it again a few weeks ago for a short while and it seemed okay.

Like others I otherwise just left the game alone now.

I don't like how buggy it is. But despite that, I'll probably be playing this again in the future before the DLC but we'll see.

Glad they're slowly adding in all the starter Pokemon across generation into the game. I hope they all make it in in the end.

Nintendo would very likely have a surprise of some kind imo. It's be strange otherwise but I suppose Pikmin 4 alone and maybe finally that Metroid Prime 4 game could fill some of that time....

I do think a Switch 2 will come not many years away now, at most. The question is not this year but the plan for the next 2 year.

I can see a Switch 2 in 2024 or 2025 but even then I could see it wait longer. I do still believe strongly in 2024, or 2025 the latest, anyway. This report imo gives a stronger case in that possibility.

But for now we just have to wait longer before we know anything for certain. This is all guessing as well.

This one is so hard for me to choose. They both look really nice but go for completely different styles and art.

I voted King Boo. I like his designs and find him quite funny in the Luigi Mansion series.

Zelda Breath of the Wild. I'm surprised how I actually got all the memories and defeated Ganon, which was fun and is great though. I did make Calamity Ganon an easy fight though.

I've also since messed around revisiting lots of areas and defating some of the optional mid bosses as well. Including a blue lynel I came across. Again I made that easy to beat.

Idk if I'll do more shrines or not or just keep roaming everywhere.

I know what I'm playing next weekend.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and also Paper Mario Colour Splash. I did TTYD, SPM and most of PM64 now. Within the last 14 months or otherwise close to that. Will finish PM64 at a different point.

I like that the recipes have numbers as well. Seems all really nice for cooking collection as well. I might try to.

But yeah, it's a QoL improvement for everyone, whether you want to collect all the recipes or not. Honestly great that it's much easier to cook and know what ingredients you need to cook something. At least once you've got the recipe once.

Yeah it looks really fun. I'm glad they had a lot to show all along and some new mechanics. But I still don't want to get too hyped as two weeks is still some time but I've kept my pre-order after everything that's been shown. Will look forward to it then but am still curious for all the reviews.

Yeah I'm so glad there are new mechanics that just look so much fun to play around with. It's great you can combine stuff to do something goofy, that actually might be useful, along with more tatical things.

Does look really fun getting around the islands too. Hopefully the rest of the game will be equally as good, as it certainly looks to be.

Only saw this now but I also like seeing the top 40.

It's a really good game, really enjoyable. But I find it quite difficult so I've left it alone for a while. It is really good though.

Gamecube Controller for me but I've not tried a Switch Pro.

I liked the Wii Remote a lot as well, although at the same time I only like that for the Wii and Wii U.

I hope they at some point do make an Arms 2.

I've not really been able to get into the game as I keep playing other games but it looks really good to me. I'd play it a lot more otherwise.

I'm expecting there sill be another Super Mario Bros Movie 2 first and then probably something else, although exactly what I'm not sure. Could be DK, Luigi, Yoshi or really another seperate IP. (Popular choices would be Kirby or Zelda or Metroid I'm guessing. Other choices like Star Fox is possible).

And yeah, wouldn't expect anything in the near future but I'm sure they already have ideas on what they can do next and it sounds like that's what they're saying as well.

I don't really play them at the moment but X was my 1st really. I can't remember if I played one before it, I may have done just a bit, but X is still what I'd say is my 1st really.

I was afraid to touch the game after they introduced the erase your game save data bug. From what I heard, that's fixed thankfully but I'm still leaving it.

I thought it was a pretty good game but the issues at hand are huge and it sounds like they still haven't fixed anything regarding those. Not really excusable imo.

It's difficult for me. I might slighly prefer TotK as somehow I feel super excited for the mystery from it and after it. It raises more questions. But BotW is just a really good trailer too and I still really like seeing the world for the first time. I also really like the music in that trailer.

I think though my vote is on can't choose as I still really like BotW trailer while still liking TotK one as well.

As for the 2nd poll, for me that's a no-brainer and the 3rd official trailer for me. It finally showed what I was hoping to see for so long and showed me it will be a new adventure with new things in gameplay, story and the world.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online. I've been playing more lately, really fun.

Maybe later on, Breath of the Wild (I'd like to progress further with story stuff before TotK is released) or HW Age of Calamity (Have started very recently, enjoying it so far).

I really don't know. The voice acting will need to be very good and not take away from his character. I guess it depends if it can be done well.

On one hand I think it could, maybe, work well but then I also like Link how he is right now.

The risk doesn't seem worth taking without, somehow, testing it out.

It could, maybe, be better but there's a risk it'd be bad or worse. I am wondering though, can it be done well and be better? Maybe.

I wouldn't advise taking that risk though. Only if it was somehow tested outside a full complete game and it would need real fans to see it and like it before concluding. So I don't really see a way for to be tested safely.

If it did work, it would still feel strange and very different for Link.

I'm hoping and expecting that he won't talk in TotK.

It's difficult but I think for me it's Twilight Princess. It's not the most fanciest so I don't fully know why but I feel that design worked really well.

Afterwards, I liked Wind Waker second.

The other designs are good too.

Wow, I actually really like the sound of that. The whole thing sounds good. That clap as well.

I'm not good with detecting music instruments but that violin and flute, or what instruments they are, sounds really good.

I'm not going to say Zelda is playable or dungeons are in the game, just in case not, but it actually looks possible. The trailer is still amazing and shows us so much. It does all look really good. Zelda definietly has an important role of some kind and I like that. I'm glad Ganon is in and, what looks to be some bosses, are less Ganon replica likes.

Really cool stuff. I am interested what is going on with the Master Sword.

Not going to speculate on the new characters too much but yeah the second one looks Zelda-like or a fusion or something going on

1st is probably a Zonai. But it's weird how they look light and dark next to each other, but I think that's just a design thing and nothing more.

As for the original, I finally decided to watch the original track, it's pretty good overall imo. That took me by surprise. I like the piano tune. I don't like the screaming based on my tastes. I guess my reaction is mixed then? Overall I like it but not quite fully.

Still a weird song and thing to do but I feel it mostly works well. Jack seems to do a good voice for Bowser.

I'm still not going to watch the movie for now though.

I've played it for 60 hours, which is a lot and not much at the same time. It's a very fun game and I do go back to it but I never set out to complete anything. Just roam the world and have fun. I've down all the towers, a lot of shrines but not all of them, quite a lot of Korok Seeds but nowhere near 900, got the Master Sword, etc. Still not got all the memories or beat Ganon but I'm nearly there on the main quest side of things. I just did not care to complete it yet though, I just go everywhere I find and have fun.

Oh, I forgot but yeah I've done the main 4 divine beasts.

But yeah I plan to do the memories and Ganon and I'm pretty sure I really will do those, but I'm leaving it for the moment.

I really liked the idea of having the champions.

People really should think twice before leaking such materials before the game's release. They shouldn't really. Not really sure I'm on a side fully here with the outcome but I do fully support the images all being taken down to be honest. Nintendo has every right to want that as it's their's to be honest. But not really sure I approve of hunting down the person down this far, for the outcome I'm guessing Nintendo wants. Don't think I'm in agreement on a large hard to pay fine to the original leaker over it. Quite a harsh punishment if the case. Although, I don't agree with Discord allowing easy spread of the images either... and the images should be taken down.

I found Mario Kart Wii so much easier online and won often. Now on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that hardly happens but I still think the stages and the DLC ones are all really fun to play.

I did use the Wii Wheel but buttons on MK8D.

I did not know MIPS had a name. I liked Star Bunny from the Mario Galaxy games.

I think Cream should be put back in Sonic, in some form at least. She works in the Sonic Advance series.

Although I missed out entirely on some games, so it was the guesses where I got some wrong.

Pretty good for me. Somehow a fun or funny quiz to take.

I did think the Lego ones for the Wii would rate high. I played one of those and found it really fun at the time.

I think it would be good to have Nintendo movies, they just need to know how to do them right and how to make them good movies.

Yeah these icons are ones I plan to get. Glad they added these.

It all seems way too soon. But after the other comment, I'm actually wondering if a 3D Mario game really will get announced at a Nintendo Direct this year, as before I assumed there won't be one until next year the earliest but now I'm wondering. Who knows. Just have to wait patiently no matter how long it'll be.

As for movies, I really feel The Legend of Zelda series could have a good movie if the story is done well but asking for anything right now, this moment, is way too soon.

So anyway since we're all talking about mobile games. It's a shame that some of them can actually be really fun games when they have horrendous and ridiculous paid option prices. Something really should be done about this monopoly and I'm serious.

Just an awful mess. At least some of the f2p can really be f2p if you can not get brainwashed by the monetisation. Unfournately though, not all are like that but at least some are.

Any Pro Controller is good though, but I don't need it. If I ever play mostly in dock mode I can consider it again then but I think for me I'm fine.

It does look good for some Switch games though, if you play in dock mode and stuff.

I kind of like the design of these but a Zelda designed Switch isn't really for me. For me, I'd rather have the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet one over it, if I'd had gotten one.

But I'm sure it's for some people, as well as some Zelda fans, as the design is nice.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

I want to unlock the secret boss for the new Magolor mode. And I haven't played Mario Kart in a while, which is a lot of fun to go back to online.
