Re: Mario-Inspired 2D Platformer Secures A Switch 2 Release On Kickstarter

Looks fun enough. Ill keep an eye on it. Speaking of kickstarter. Whatever happened to that Hazelnut Bastille "zelda-like." I remember it getting some attention back in 2018-2019 and I was all hyped for it. I even recall they were supposed to make a spin off 8 bit version to keep people entertained until it actually released, that also never happened. Checked the website, and there's no updates, so I sent them an email asking what the latest is. Im always weary of Kickstarter.

On switch- Oracle of Ages for a replay. Love the dungeon design of this game, i dont love all the steps necessary to get to the dungeons though. It's quite long and tedious flipping back and forth between times and talking with so many different npcs. Still a classic though.

On xbox- only Clair Obscur. Still adoring this game. When you finally demolish certain bosses because you've fiddled with pictos, luminous, and skills, it's just pure gold.

After dropping a couple zelda-like games that weren't really grabbing me, I decided to play the real deal again for a replay. So on switch, I'm playing Oracle of Ages and first dungeon down. As well RetroMania story mode.

On Xbox, Wwe 2k24 and Clair Obscur which is my big game. I'll probably fire up Mullet MadJack as well.

Re: Opinion: A Few Too Many Questions & Unwelcome Surprises Are Taking The Shine Off The Switch 2 Reveal

After the initial high I had, much like the switch 1 presentation, it's sort of soured for me. Pricing, upgrades, digital key codes, you name it all bother me. To be clear, I don't mind the console price even though I was hoping for $450. But I can't justify the 80 price tag, I wouldn't even pay that for a new zelda. Having said all that, I'll still be lined up to buy it as soon as I can, being a massive nintendo fan. I'll just be picky and choosie with my game purchases from here on out to make a statement.

Re: Nintendo Delays Switch 2 Pre-Orders In The US Amidst New Trump Tariffs

Being mad about tariffs but not American tax dollars going to wasteful means is crazy to me. Not going to list it all, but go look at the DOGE website for clarification. It's disgusting what our money was being wasted on. Robbed blind for 4 years. Gaming is just a hobby which is my favorite btw, but I can wait on switch 2. Hopefully the tariff situation gets better in the short term and prices come back down.
