Tbh, there hasn't been much on the switch front for me this year. Having a decent time with MKW, but its a typical multi-player party game for me. So fun, but not my goty type material. I wasnt as in love with XCX as I was with previous entries unfortunately. And I haven't tried any other switch 2 game as of yet. I did just finish botw on S2 which was my 4th replay, so again, not a mind blowing experience or anything since I've done it quite a few times. Im really hoping DK makes me feel like Ive got that next gen system.

Mostly Botw on S2. Also some mario kart world, and backyard baseball 97.

On Xbox, crash 4, and I'll probably start up CoD WWII

Im eyeing something to fill the gap between my replay of botw and DK. Originally I was eyeing cyberpunk but fantasy life I is getting some high praise so I may shift my stance. Fast fusion will be a purchase one day, but I dont need another racer atm since im playing MKW. When you really think about it, there's not much new stuff to play past MKW, and fast fusion.

@Jack_Goetz @rvcolem1 we're all on that island together. One of the worst games I've played that was praised. I just deleted it after beating it and ill never touch it again.

Its too hard to thumb through these long lists. No doubt they're all bangers im sure, but I'd love a more shortened list or even broken up by genre.

At $20 maybe ill snag it. Could be fun with the kids.

Mp4 is still my most anticipated, but this is right up there with it.

I have actually used it for shrine locations. This is my 4th time playing botw, so it's not really spoiling anything for me at this point. Just a little navigation tool.

@Balta666 too bad. I loved BDII myself. But never finished it, even on easy. It got too hard towards the very end there and I moved on. Supposed ill hold off on this game then.

@Mr_Persona im sure it would've been under warranty within the first year. It's probably too late now.

I couldn't even think of an actor or actress fit to play link and zelda. I'm kinda hoping they're no names to avoid any judgment or bias in my own mind.

I'd love to see some sort of fun traversal methods like dune buggies, or paragliders.

Put a screen protector on the second it was out of the box so no, mine is fine.

Reminds me of when people's launch system S1 tablets were bending from overheating or something along those lines. Had me freaked out that mine wasn't perfectly straight for a bit lol. Ahhh the memories.

On S2, botw and MKW

So far, after about 3-4hrs it's about an 8 for me. Great game. Not mind blowing or anything. But I love some of the new tracks and available characters/carts.

Still need to see more. Im not really sure what it is yet.

I'll be coming back from vacation on the 9th, so when I fire it up, I'll grab fast fusion and botw upgrade. Im also getting MKW with the bundle.

Ill be buying next week when get back from vacation and fire my new switch 2 up!

Trying to finish up Clair Obscur this weekend if I can. Making great progress and just about to start act III.

Little bit of a struggle but I got my order in through best buy 45 min after pre-orders went live.

Welp, add that to the list of games I'm not buying. I'll just load of borderlands 3 on switch 2 which I bought for $15 a while ago and never touched. I found a way to make that happen 🫠

Looks fun enough. Ill keep an eye on it. Speaking of kickstarter. Whatever happened to that Hazelnut Bastille "zelda-like." I remember it getting some attention back in 2018-2019 and I was all hyped for it. I even recall they were supposed to make a spin off 8 bit version to keep people entertained until it actually released, that also never happened. Checked the website, and there's no updates, so I sent them an email asking what the latest is. Im always weary of Kickstarter.

On switch- Oracle of Ages for a replay. Love the dungeon design of this game, i dont love all the steps necessary to get to the dungeons though. It's quite long and tedious flipping back and forth between times and talking with so many different npcs. Still a classic though.

On xbox- only Clair Obscur. Still adoring this game. When you finally demolish certain bosses because you've fiddled with pictos, luminous, and skills, it's just pure gold.

I'll be replaying echoes again soon here on switch 2. I never had an issue with the performance.

That's news to my ears. Im going to be avoiding key cards where I can.
