@Anti-Matter it was basically a microSD adapter in the form of a switch cartridge. you loaded the "legal" games on the microSD. no internet connection needed for games that required it.

@AllBLK Then I would see nothing but switch 2 with tape on the camera. Because let's face it you phone is always watching and listening to you. Or maybe a 3rd party would make something that would sit on top and charge 10 bucks.

I plugged in a Logitech C925e and it detected the camera and mic as well. Don't know what the official one requires that the Logi doesn't.

Loving the game and what I've play so far. Damn hearing that music on their video just made me want to play but I have work duties.

If the internet has taught me anything, having the Switch 2 available and on the shelves mean it's a FAILURE. I'm sad hearing this.

@SearchingS that maybe true but I would like to see how the switch brute forces old games that might use say a unlocked frame rate targeting 60 fps. As of this moment there is no switch 2 version of Xenoblade 2. That frame rate and dynamic resolution is all over the place so i would like to see how it performs on the new hardware with the backwards compatibility software on the switch 2.

This is what I'm wondering with a lot of switch games I have. The ones that don't have a Switch 2 upgrade.

I will be giving my OLED to my brother. I also have a launch switch, but I will be giving that to my friend because he has children. I lite if I feel the need to play something on OG hardware that isn't emulated on the switch 2

@solarwolf07 you right but in reality, if you start to implement something like that you are opening pandora's box. Especially if you have keyboard and mouse elitest want the feature for every game. Like stay in your corner bro and play on your PC.

@OdnetninAges That is true, taking away features can be a bad thing. I'm sure the feature does exist because they need to show trailers and showcases. That means it can exist for streaming apps like YouTube and others. The issue is up to the app dev to make sure that it works with the new system. I don't know. Maybe they recode the whole app again. I don't see it being Nintendo's job to make sure that streaming apps work on their new system. They are a gaming and toy company first.

Good on them for doing what is right. I look forward to my physical copy of Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion. Also, I wish they would publish Killer 7 for switch 2... I can wish, can't I?

His delivery was piss poor... and the high price tag kinda makes sense with packaging in the retail space. Why is the game not less when being offered in a digital format? Plus, have they confirmed that the whole game will be included on the disk? I doubt that it will be.

People wonder why we are on number 21 of the Mario Series... This generation of gamers are hard to figure out when it comes to newer IPs and ones that say for years to come.

The 2D thing is interesting and makes me wonder what that means. Time will tell either next year or by the end of 26.

Just because the Switch 2 is on the horizon does not mean it cut into my time. I mean I FINALLY beat Xenoblade Chronicles X. With that accomplishment I will probably just wait for Switch 2 because if I want to play another game, I will want to test out the backwards compatible with some games. I tried new DOOM on my PC and runs pretty well so I will play that. So, it's on to the new Switch next month.

Clicking buttons are a thing of the past. I tend to use these triggers quite a bit especially when a game requires click-to-run or click-to-crouch.

Cool! Specs!... Don't get me wrong this is kinda cool from a nerd standpoint. To me specs just add fire to the console war conversation of which is better (which I'm over with.) Let us see what devs will do with the new power. To me the GameChat is not going to take off and another service that Nintendo is going drop just like MiiVerse. It will always come down to the games and how optimize they are.
