I don't know. While the bike sequences and open areas did not impress me. Using the ship to travel in MP3 was pretty good and some ways made me care about it. Especially when it was in danger of being destroyed. Me caring about a lifeless ship. Good times. Either way, I am still looking forward to playing this game. They claim it still coming out this year... that has me more scared. We don't have a release date.

@MonsterMike I love platformers / metroidvanias. I like Ori. Cave Story. Steamworld Dig. Shantae. Cyber shadow. about to play Ninja Gaiden after that 60 fps boost on S2. this year I've play cookie cutter and ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist. both pretty fun. I tend to play more platform than any genre.

Alright, time to give this a fair chance now that it’s ‘targeting” 60. Still crazy that they don’t state “lock” because let’s be real what is this game pushing?

@SpaceboyScreams Fair enough but to that argument. I treat a game just like how I treat shows. If I have to skip season 1 and jump to season 2 just to enjoy something I just not going to bother.

@TCKuma It's not whether I can or can't beat that creature. For me it's much more than that and why I don't like this metroidvania. The music just isn't good enough compared to some of the greats before it. I don't care for the damage sponge enemies; they interrupt the flow of the game for me. The characters don't look cool or inspire me to push further. The environments are just the same cave with a different color palette and maybe some greenery. But like I told the person before you, it's cool that you found a game that you really like and I'm happy for you.

@EarthboundBenjy I'm glad you're having a good time, but I still think it's a horrible, not good, and overall, a waste of time. I'm still glad you found a game you can enjoy and bond over.

Yea, the Hollow Knight universe is not for me, and I think it sucks. I am happy for people who like it. I am happy for it being a success because it means devs get paid. Outside of that it still sucks.

Legend of Dragoon remaster by Monolithsoft. Or a new F-Zero game by SEGA. Another Bayonetta game or updated to the existing games. Give me that release date of MP4. Remaster of MP2/3 games. Gyruss release on the NES app. Megaman 64 on the N64 app. fire emblem awakening remaster. some of the kirby 3DS games remasters. Finally give me pokemon games on the GBA app. Also, some gas money and some Jack in the Box. that is all.

Guy's it finally happening. Nintendo is going to announce God of War on the handheld, and they are going to announce our marriage.

To me what I like about a good Metroidvania is flow as well as music. HK/SS might have music, but the earlier stages are just atmospheric and boring. I like to see progression in the game and when I come to dead stop you just ruined the whole experience. I don't have hours on end just to repeat/reset/runback time after time again. To me that is not my idea for a good time.

@Grumblevolcano I went to the website directly. Oddly enough the standard edition is not listed for S2. you need to get the specialist edition. That takes you to amazon and it shows it being 70.

I really hate that devs/publishers are not giving the Switch 2 the time to make the version for Nintendo. Tired of this copy and paste crap brought to us by last and this generation.

Having not played or seen much of the game on other consoles/PC. It's not bad but I will say... MK1 Johnny Cage eyes.
