@Synecdoche Yes, that’s a very long list. But what are the key changes which transform the experience in a way that NL reports on this update since 2022?

For CyberPunk 2077, the update to 2.0 was a big thing, with hundreds of entries in the changelog. But CDPR told everyone that the new police system makes a huge difference in gameplay (I never checked out the update).

So, what is the „new police system“ of Stardew Valley?

I‘ve never played Stardew Valley. But I counted 21 (!) NL articles with „Version 1.6“ in the title, starting back then in June 2022. Based on that, this slight step from 1.5 to 1.6 must be an earth-shattering event.

So, I ask you for a short explanation for fools like me what makes this update so special and how it will transform the game to another experience. Thanks!

All requirements indicate a cloud streaming service, especially the wish for wired LAN internet connection. So there are three main questions remaining for me:

1) System(s) and games available at the test: This will tell you X within minutes after the service went live.

2) Technical quality of the stream, i.e. latency, frame consistency and picture compression: This is harder to assess by YouTube videos made by average people. And more professional streamers will not ruin their careers with this stuff.

3) Future systems and games: Will you stream Switch 2 games on your current Switch? This could shift digital Switch 2 games while the hardware is hard to get. Later when you got one, you could proceed your games on your local system.

@cookiki I‘ve read about frame dropping several times. And the trailers show it, too. I seems to be a severe issue of Grezzo‘s engine, not fixed for this title, and probably caused by on-the-flight shader compilation (to save memory space).
So, we will see frame dropping not only when using the Rod, but also when entering a new area etc. Still much better than a 30 fps cap imo.
