This looks amazing. And it finally looks good graphically (bet people still will complain though). And I'm so exited that there will be an underwater world, honestly that region reminds me of Hoenn 2.0

Surprised that it releases next year though, that's 5 years between new gens. Guess GameFreak finally learned and seemingly it payed off

Thank god, gyro control my not be ideal in handheld mode but it's still miles better than having to use the touchscreen.
Also there are parts in Galaxy 2 that would be straight up be unplayable without it (there are parts where you need to press A to jump with Yoshi, use the C-stick to move left or right and use the pointer to aim at a point for Yoshi to cling onto)

Call me crazy but games have become so detailed and busy to look at that I don't mind a game having dated visuals. At least it looks better than PLA and SV

As long as it is fun and runs well that's good enough for me

@RemyMartin "Being so expensive will only hurt sales" but will it hurt overall profit? For example if they sell 15mio copies for 40$ that would be 600mio$. But if they sell 10mio copies for 70$ that would be 700mio$ (not all of that 600/700mio$ goes to Nintendo but for simplicity let us say it does)

So yeah, from a business perspective it probably makes sense, since they care about total profit and not total sales numbers

(Btw don't interpret this as me trying to defent the pricing)

We got DLC for an unreleased game before we got MK World DLC

The price for the DK Banaza DLC is way more expensive than anticipated as well

20€ for one new Level and a "Luigi's Ballon World" style minigame. For comparision for just 5 € more (therefore 25€) you can get 48 tracks and multiple new characers in MK8DX

Why wasn't that in the Direct? That's a huge announcement (although we already kinda knew that)

Kiwami 2 uses a newer engine so I wouldnt be surprised if it's 30fps

Very happy about that, the game looks great but other Falcom games do not have the best performance on Switch. Glad that there is a version that takes advantage of the Switch 2s hardware

I'd love XV. Square Enix did try to bring it on Switch after all but it didn't work out (so they just ported the mobile demake)

I know that it isn't the most beloved FF entry out there but I personally really enjoyed it

While ports of games like RDR2, P3 Reload, Metaphor etc would be very welcome I really hope that we get to see some brand new games and not just ports of years old games

I get motion sick very quickly and I did not have any problems so far with DK Banaza after about 15h of playtime

Switch 2 patches for the remaining Switch Pokemon games would be neat

I think the Switch version didn't look half bad (although it's hard to judge based off a blurry screenshot). I never noticed just how much vegetation there is on Switch 2 without the comparision

Honestly reading those internal resolutions makes DLSS even more impressive.

I played SF6 a bit on Switch 2 and never would I have guessed that the resolution is upscaled from as low as 540p/360p
