I have Order of Ecclessia complete in box already. And I could never jam with the twee anime stylings of DoS or Portrait of Ruin.

See, other games like Wargroove and Tiny Metal at least tried to stand out visually and/or thematically. This is just filing the serial numbers off and calling it a day.

Short game means I'll get this digitally for $5 someday.

I'm glad this game exists though. The NES original is very good and not enough people talk about it.

@AllieKitsune I try to shut it out, by having fun in the game making yo-yo girl do the hacky slashy.

@Slowdive Dragon Ball Fighterz (also by ArcSys) is also on Switch, and that one runs mostly fine. So there's hope for a good port, at least.

This is one of my favorite fighting games of the past decade. I have it on PS4 and Xbox Series X, and it is a treat to play.

That said: it runs kinda ragged on PS4 as it is, so I can't imagine this running well on Switch. I'll be happy to be proven wrong, but right now... I'll stick to modern hardware for Strive.

...I didn't realize I wanted Pam Stardew Valley in Fortnite until just this minute. That would be hilarious and incredible, I love it.

I think Nintendo could/should do a better job hyping this up.

This announcement immediately washed away the memory of other announcements for me.
This is absolutely, undoubtedly the biggest announcement of the day.
A whole collection of long sought-after, highly-demanded games. INCLUDING the re-release of two games that a lot of people never expected to see the rights freed up to again?? Blows everything else away.

What is up with these major fighting game announcements being made on Nintendo Directs of all things?? I love it.

I loves me some Tetris, so I was immediately interested. But seeing Digital Eclipse in charge of this makes it a definite must-buy.

I'll be waiting for Limited Run to do the physical of this. Glad to see these games again!

A rare triple dip for me. Once digitally on Switch. Again digitally on Steam for good online. Third time physically on Switch to keep the games for years.

The developer of this game is a staunch racist, so no thanks.

Gameplay wise, this looks like something I, personally, absolutely have to check out ...on a different platform.

I really like this one on the 7800, but something about this interpretation looks empty. As of now, it looks like less of a remake, and more of "the same game, with better graphics."

Love Limited Run Games. They've made big improvements this year, so I'm sold on getting a physical print of this.

It may be easier (and probably cheaper) to get this game on PS4, or even PS3. But strategy games feel right at home on a handheld system.

I got this one physically on Xbox for $22.
I like it quite a bit, I think it's a decent MK title.
But Warner Bros can absolutely [redacted] all the way off, charging $50 for an expansion pass, and making a full pass the only way to access new characters. No.

It's one free download if you have both games purchased.

This is the first new official* Classic Doom content in 14 years 🤯 That alone makes this worth it, but the remade soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult is phenomenal as well!
(*I know Romero did Sigil, but that was only released an add-on using existing assets.)

If you've somehow put off playing Classic Doom for 31 years (first of all, how??), please please please do yourself a favor and get these versions!!

I already bought these on Switch years ago, and I just double dipped on my new-ish Xbox. Worth every penny.

I put off buying the Play-Asia release, because I was having a hard time justifying the cost.

But this is gonna be too hard to resist 😅
