This game sounds like a sleeper hit.

emulated this one on my flash cart. it's kinda janky, but in a charming way.
very clever little game ahead of it's time in many ways.

@Notsoavid Mach Rider is a lot of fun. Just keep in mind to press up and down for shifting gears (not explained in-game).

Buying all four skins ends up being more expensive than the game itself, and that's not a great look.

Solar Jetman is neat, and Cobra Triangle is pretty good. Nice to see more gems from Rare Reply being playable to more people!

Mach Rider is also lot of fun, with some kickin' music to boot.

I still firmly believe that Endless Ocean Luminous is an A.I. project, or uses A.I. in it.
There's one "voice actor" that's an AI voice bot. The way the creatures pop-in (or sometimes don't) feels like the world populates as you play. I dunno how much I trust Nintendo's claim here.

Looks wonderful and creative. I'm glad (and shocked) to hear the Switch version holds up!

@Mana_Knight Here's why the "it is your own fault if you are actually paying RRP" argument doesn't hold water.

The average non-gamer consumer. Average Jane, John, or Jamie Doe on the street can be hoodwinked by shoddy business practices that aren't talked about much outside dedicated gaming circles.
Heck, I'd argue that makes Nintendo's attempt to fleece £50 for this game that much more insidious.

...I'm intrigued. If it has an online multiplayer component, I'm in.
But if it's always-online, online-only, I'm out.

I feel like competing with other players for fares could be a lot of fun.

Separating the art from the artist is only possible, when the artist isn't currently doing active harm.

Shovel Knight is an icon, but not a retro one.

SK's first game is only a decade old, and was released on multiple platforms, many of which are still currently supported.

Iconic, yes.
Retro, no.

This game gets a lot of flack, and I can absolutely understand why.
But personally, I'm still having a silly fun time with it ...on Series X. The Kameo system is nonsense though.

I immediately downloaded Moonstone Island yesterday, right at 2PM UTC.
Spent a couple hours with it so far, and it makes me happy.

I recently played this via Xbox Series X and had a great time.
The other day, someone on here told me that's because the Xbox version is enhanced both graphically, and in terms of controls.

...now I know what they meant.

But admittedly I, personally, am not sure how much new could be added to Metroid Prime, without making it a completely different kind of game.

A reinvention of the wheel would be nice, don't get me wrong.
But as long as it meets the expectations of what a Metroid Prime game should be, that'll do just fine.

Absolutely legendary fighting games, and it is such a relief to finally see them get a proper re-release.

Recently played Perfect Dark on game pass for the first time in decades.
Holds up well. Great game.

Sold. Day One purchase. Pre-ordering it, even.
This is exactly what I want from a Zelda game. ZELDA IN A STARRING ROLE, and 2D gameplay.
A+, 5 stars, 10/10.

Good to finally have the confirmation.
This will surely be the ideal way to play these games from now on.

The animation looks OUTSTANDING.
But I dunno if this series will feel the same without Alpha Dream (RIP).
