@masterLEON Thanks for the response! I Googled info on the level cap, and found an analysis of the X DE trailer. Folks spotted sections where characters were higher than level 60. They must have changed the cap. Interesting if so.

If I remember correctly, wasn't there a level cap below the typical RPG number of 99? I remember running into that and being disappointed since I sucked at the game, and couldn't just grind to get "better" 😂

@ferryb001 Oh wow, didn't realize this was the same guys who made Wuppo! Loved Wuppo, which means I'll definitely be getting this game!

Beyond Galaxyland was pretty great. I'd love to see more from the developer.

I remember the year I took shop class in high school, they were remodeling the shop. We had to have the class in the computer lab. One of the assignments for like two months straight was beat Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. It was a really fun time, and I'm very excited to jump back in!

@Ulysses I've been wondering the same thing. There's been a lot of DK related stuff this year, like way more than most Nintendo franchises, surely it cold be leading to an actual new game?

@silver-crescent It's definitely one of the best indies ever. It fits in that category of games I like so much, I'll double dip in a heartbeat. Will probably now get it on Steam since I haven't played it since it came out on Switch.

I think Radient Historia is the only game I've ever bought that I never actually played through. I remember booting up the game once, then never touched it again. I really can't say why either. It's very strange.

Very cool of these guys to do this. I'm happy to start a new game soon and try out the updated battle system!

I've seen the other two games in the eshop, and always been intrigued by them. Now that I know there's a third game with better mechanics, I just might finally buy one!

@Ulysses That's very interesting, and a very Nintendo thing to do. Considering they always like some kind of innovation in their consoles, but rumors suggest Switch 2 is literally a better version of Switch, this could be that innovative thing they emphasize.

@Bunkerneath Now, I haven't got to crafting yet, but just got through the game's battle tutorial. Once you see it explained in-game, all those capture and other mechanics really aren't that complicated. To me, it's kinda like Super Mario RPG timed hit/block mechanics, then just add in some OG Pokémon stuff.

It certainly doesn't bother me, and I'm old and don't like overcomplicated. 😆

Nice! I never played these, but watched my brother play on PlayStation way back in the day. Definitely ready to play Lunar for the first time!

This was probably my most anticipated game for September. I've seen the developer making information posts and comments on Reddit, and it's very apparent this game was made with passion. Very excited to play tonight!

Even though Phantom Pain seemed unfinished, I really really enjoyed that game on PC when it came out. Would love to play it on a Nintendo console!

If they add PP, I hope they add Ground Zeroes too, I mean they go together!

I typically don't like speed (or timing) based games, but this has become one of those great exceptions. I was honestly shocked by how much I enjoyed Pizza Tower.

@yohn777 The situation is the same. I didn't buy any of those three games on Steam because I knew they'd eventually be on Switch.

This is like Death's Door and Tunic, I just knew it'd come out on Switch! Excited to play!

@somnambulance 100٪ agree. I had so much fun playing about to the point those reflex-type puzzles started getting more and more frequent/complicated.

Seems like the new console will be backwards compatible. Folks probably won't have to worry about that backlog!

Loved the game, will definitely get the dlc. Though, as someone who's never bought dlc for an RPG before, how does it work? Will it be some post-game addition you play after you beat the game (which I have)? Is it part of some point in the main game? Is it a separate mini-game without connection to your main game save file?

That was way cooler than I was expecting! Dude did an awesome job.

I have a suspicion that the opening of the game is going to appear like standard faire, but once you get through it, and Samus loses her abilities, the game is gonna be a lot more unique than the other MPs. There's some intentional deceiving going on to hide some cool new concepts I think.

Chrono Trigger is such a great example of excellence in sprite-work, I think definitely needs to be HD-2D.

Although I'm open to 3D if they did it like it's sequel, and not some typical chibi thing.

I am so excited to play this again after what, twenty years?! Such a wonderful game! Such great memories! This (and the last two Zelda's) has gotten me so giddy to play! I feel like a teenager again!

Wow. I did not expect that score. Can honestly say I went from being merely intrigued by the visuals (as shown in that Indie Direct), to utterly excited to play the game!

Also, I wanted to be called Slash as a kid because of this game. (And Guns N Roses).

I loved Hollow Knight way more than I expected. I figured it was gonna be a solid Metroidvania, but it ended up being in my top 5 favorite indie games ever. I can't wait (well, I have so far) for this sequel to come out.

Can we maybe have some difficulty options though? Pretty please with a Team Cherry on top?

I love them both, so I can't really say for sure which one was better. Breath of the Wild became my favorite game ever, which is shocking to say, since I'm old and every other favorite game is pretty much just SNES era. Then TotK came out, and became my favorite game ever. That's two games in a row that shattered my nostalgia glasses and helped me love something outside my box.

I guess all I can say is that I'm very excited for the next Zelda!
