During the boom, people were saying 100 million Switch units would sell. That was always based on it having 5 amazing years like it had in its first year. And 5 boom years in a row was always unlikely.
Switch could still do 50 million and that would be healthy enough.

@Bliquid hmm. Can't actually disagree with you there and shows with layers being better. As a Megaman fan, I want a show like that. But from day 1, I wasn't interested in this particular Megaman show, because it was obvious right away it wasn't for we old fans. Doesn't mean it won't be good for the younglings.
And if it's good, it might encourage them to make another show for us oldiewonks. They'll be less inclined to do that if we call for their offices to be burned down though. That's why it's frustrating to me to see people react badly.

The negativity is unjustified. This looks like it will appeal to its target audience. Aka, not us. Don't be butt hurt because a kids TV show turns out to be made for kids.

Some of these will be caused by carelessness. Some from general wear and tear. You can't expect a portable to stay pristine forever.

I was disappointed with the alolan forms implementation so far.

No bonus experience for catching one, no achievement medal to work towards. Nothing. It was just like catching a regular exeggcutor. It seemed lazy to me.

A bit disappointing. It looks slower, that level looked bland. The talking by the characters... Oh dear.

@SmaMan It does seem short to me too. I could understand them restricting it to daylight hours to stop the kids running around the park at night. But finishing at 1pm? Community Extended Lunch.

Indeed we did. We were all aware that it would arrive sometime between 2018 and later, because, it's 2018 right now! How is this magazine still going?

"Duh, it's going to come out sometime between now and the future."

With such a vibrant indie scene on the eShop, why would Nintendo want to take attention away from it by flogging old games again, that everyone will complain are too expensive and not ported the way they want it anyway? Many of these old games have not aged well either. Let the VC die and focus on Mini consoles and more remasters like the Zelda HD games.

@KcebEnyaw You know what, I agree with you. You should be able to get something within walking distance, everywhere.

I don't know what your neighbourhood is like, but I live in a small town and there's pockets of good spawn stuff within walking distance. Plenty of empty areas too. It's why I find it hard to believe there's nothing, unless you live in a really rural spot.

@KcebEnyaw sorry, but, the core games would be pretty boring if all the Pokemon spawned outside the main characters house.

Pokemon Go, like all Pokemon games, is about travelling around to catch them all.

I'm surprised it did that well. Niche game with no real advertising on a platform most have moved on from.

@-DG 2 minutes? Bloody hell. Where were you playing? Must have been a really competitive area. My Pokemon usually hang on long enough to get the full 50 coins.

GBA had an amazing library of games, including some of my top games of all time. Megaman Zero 2, Superstar Saga, Fire Emeblem. So manly memories... Take me back!!

Still play everyday. And still plenty to catch and evolve. Still plenty more to come and new features they could introduce.
