Things like that may seem shocking today, but in the 1980s it was pretty normal in Japan back then to include crude humour like casually exposed genitals, even in children's media!
This isn't any much different from the nudity humour in the uncensored, classic original Dragon Ball manga and anime.
You guys do realise that, sooner or later, someone else has to take the mantle of developing Pokémon games, and any other Nintendo IP for that matter! This is fine as long as the older team are mentoring the younger guys.
@Anti-Matter The game wasn't even announced for a North American release yet. Even the previous title - Style Savvy: Fashion Forward - had a low key announcement for North America just weeks before its release.
If Nintendo is currently confident to officially release the Nintendo Switch in South Korea and Taiwan on December 1, 2017, then I seriously believe they will have enough stock for everyone else in the world this Holiday period!
@Elanczewski Actually, development of Star Fox 2 was finished at the time. Developer Argonaut Games were contractually obligated to finish the game completely, despite Nintendo's last minute decision to not release the game back then.
Considering the misguided boxy and monochromatic design of the North American Super Nintendo Entertainment System, it would be very difficult to implement the same aesthetics around the curviness of the New Nintendo 3DS XL shell.
@Geeks4Life You do realise the Nintendo Switch's screen cannot do more than 720p, right? Since the game is capable of doing 60fps at 720p by default, presumably it should run at 60fps in handheld mode all the same.
Isn't the Nintendo 3DS still using Miiverse though? Besides, games are still coming to the Wii U, and the Wii Shop Channel itself is still very much open! (Although, they did close the DSi Shop earlier this year, which isn't surprising considering the Nintendo 3DS eShop still has most of the DSiWare available.)
Am I the only person who is impressed by the fact we're still seeing games like Mario Kart 7 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf still selling a lot of units every week to be in the top 20? I would have expected Nintendo to stop printing Mario Kart 7 by now, considering people could purchase the game off the Nintendo eShop if they really wanted it.
I dunno about you people, but I paid for Super Mario Run, and I'm still playing Toad Rally once a day on a daily basis, trying to unlock all the remaining buildings for my Mushroom Kingdom.
Despite the virtually worldwide release of Super Mario Run at day one, Nintendo still needs to expand the global reach for both Miitomo and Fire Emblem Heroes.
@sillygostly Actually, there have never been any Arabic-language games on Nintendo consoles, even if they are available in Arabic on other platforms. I was only pointing out the trailer because of the fact.
I heavily doubt Ubisoft can even technically include Arabic support for Nintendo consoles, even if they are now marketing Nintendo Switch games on their Middle Eastern YouTube channel.
I'm personally waiting for that day when Nintendo does include Arabic language support on their consoles. They already have a licenced distributor based in Dubai releasing localised consoles to local retailers, starting with the Wii, which include Arabic text on the packaging.
Um... the User ID is only for users to access their Nintendo Accounts. It will not represent the public nickname or username, which people can change at any time. It is also completely unrelated to Nintendo Network IDs.
I already have this game: The original freeware version, the WiiWare version, Cave Story+ on Steam, and the Nintendo 3DS eShop version. Do I really need to dip any more into this game?
I kept telling people that franchises like Art Academy and games like Super Mario Maker will not be possible on Nintendo Switch. The way the console is designed places the touchscreen capability on a backburner, and can be totally ignored, unlike the Wii U which is heavily depended on its GamePad's asymmetrical touchscreen capabilities to thrive with the experiences it was offering.
Big whoop! Active Boeki has been distributing the North American version of this New Nintendo 3DS XL in Southeast Asia and the Middle East since November 18, 2016 - same day Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon were released.
@Anti-Matter This the console packaging you were referring to, right?
I cannot understand why is this news. Nintendo has not implemented in-game language settings in their first-party titles ever again since the introduction of the Nintendo DS. You can only change language from the console's own system settings. This is likely going to continue on.
I think Sony Interactive Entertainment has started doing the same thing with their own first-party titles on the PlayStation 4.
Miiverse requires one to have a Nintendo Network ID to post on it. It seems like Nintendo are simply phasing out the NNID system in favour of Nintendo Account, which has a much varied eco-system considering it links to mobile apps and allows for cloud-saves on multiple devices. However, it doesn't mean they are shutting down Miiverse anytime soon considering it is still reasonably active, especially from Nintendo 3DS users.
The game is technically already available in China since July 2016, albeit at some "insignificant" port town called Hong Kong. Additionally, the game is also available in the Republic of China, which commonly known as Taiwan.
I was actually gifted the original Game Boy model on the eve of Christmas in 1994! It was not my idea, and I was not even aware of the updated Game Boy Pocket or the Super Game Boy at the time. Yes, I could have played the Super Game Boy since I already had the Super Nintendo Entertainment System for a while.
I know this may be a minor complaint, but Super Mario Run will launch in exactly 150 countries on December 15. The 151st country Nintendo listed is South Korea, which they have noted will not have the app until early 2017. Nintendo Account and My Nintendo does not even officially support South Korea yet!
I wonder if Retro Studios decided to revive the Raven Blade name and reboot its development from the ground up. From what I heard, the original beta turned out to be a boring experience in retrospect.
@AG_Awesome It is unlikely the original Star Fox will be re-released on Virtual Console due to old, unresolved legal issues with all the Super Nintendo Entertainment System games that supported the Super FX chip.

There is a big mistake here! According to the game's listing on Nintendo's German website, Schlag den Star - Das Spiel is published by bitComposer Games, not Nintendo of Europe!
