@Mattock1987 I did have a little fist pump when I saw the news. This was a key N64 title back in the day and can now play with my old college buddies in different cities. Goldeneye 007 next yeah cowards?
And ISS64, Space Station Silicon Valley, Fighters Destiny, 1080, Mystical Ninja, Beetle Adventure Racing, Pilot Wings 64, Snowboard Kids, New Tetris and some Rare classics pleeeease.
@TKundNobody Ooooh, for me I think Blue Storm is the more polished experience but 64 is the better game, I enjoy playing it more at least and I prefer the music and commentary (the original, not the changes made to the Shindu edition). It’s definitely the earlier version but I prefer the rough edges.
@ModdedInkling The ESRB's website doesn't list the NSO libraries (that I can find) but Nintendo's NSO page has the N64 app rated as T.
The content of the app (the games) has already been rated and the as that content hasn't changed the original rating stands but the app has to display the highest rating.
So if Conker is added to the service and then at a later date DKR is added, the launch video for DKR would display the M rating as you can only play it on NSO through the app that contains BFD.
@ModdedInkling The N64 app is rated T, not Majora's Mask itself. The NSO launch videos for Banjo-Kazooie also have the T rating displayed but because it's included in a T rated app. Like a DVD boxset, the rating of the boxset is based the highest rating of an individual film.
The price is more than fair I feel. Back in 1997 when I got my N64 the controllers were £29.99, which is £55 when adjusted for inflation. The new pads are wireless and feature built-in rumble too.
@Switcheroot I'm using 8bitdo Gbros adaptor and having some trouble. The analogue functionality on the triggers is there but some of the other mappings are wonky, Z is a duplicate of clicking R so doesn't bring up the map.
Didn't think much of the game itself, in fairness 10 minutes isn't long enough to really form an opinion greater than 'it didn't grab me'.
However I have to say I was impressed with the steaming aspect, once the game loaded the experience felt flawless to me, on both performance and enhanced graphics modes. I'll keep my mind open for Hitman.
The first questions are very easy. The last questions are much more difficult uh like a memory question it's errr like you'll go person, woman, man, camera, TV. So they'd say 'can you repeat that' so I said 'yeah' so it's person, woman, man, camera, TV. Ok that's very good. If you get it in order you get extra points. If ya, ok now he's asking you other questions, other questions... and then 10 minutes, 15, 20 minutes later they'd say 'rememberer the first question?', not the first but the tenth question, 'give us that again, can you do that again?' and you go person, woman, man, camera, TV. If you get it in order you get extra points, they said 'nobody gets it in order', it's actually not that easy but for me it was easy.
My daughter wasn’t born when the Wii came out, but last night we spent some time with Wii Sports Resort, Smooth Moves and Galaxy. Fun experiences are fun experiences, doesn’t matter how old the kit is.
The screen on Luigi’s Raceway looked glitchy, which can often happens (in my experience) with emulation. Hope as many kinks are ironed out as possible before release. Very interested in this, currently have an old TV knocking around purely for N64 S-Video. I don’t want to mod my system so this could be a brilliant solution.
I was lucky enough to get a classic Game Boy for my 10th birthday back in 91. Once I got home from school my parents took me to Dixon’s to spend my birthday money on Super Mario Land.
I was sooooo excited, I was going to own my very own Mario game for the first time and couldn’t believe it. I ran, Game Boy in hand, full pelt towards the store. I was going so fast I tripped over my own feet sending my brand new DMG-01 into the air and crashing into the concrete.
In that moment we all thought that was it, it barely lasted a day before I managed to break it, but it was fine! Not even a scratch. My Dad said at the time how impressed he was at the build quality, that it was built to last. Neither of us expected to still be in working order 28 yeas later...
Nearly bought a NES Mini this week for £130, but couldn't pull the trigger as something like this happening was at the back of my mind. Great news! Sell products people want to buy. Who knew?
Just wait, soon they'll announce that despite their best efforts this is no longer compatible with the Switch but backers will have the option of moving their reward to either the PS4 or Xbox.

Re: Review: Wave Race 64 - A Thrilling Racer That's Still Deeply Impressive
An all time classic! Played through the championship twice already today, a classic game that holds up really really well.
Outside of more Rare stuff, ISS64 or Mystical Ninja would be nice to have next. Or Snowboard Kids. Or Fighters Destiny.
