An animated Mario film, fine. But a live action Zelda… The creative team (sans Miyamoto) don’t exactly fill me with confidence, hope I’m wrong but this this feels too important to have the director of Maze Runner and the producer who tanked Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films involved.

@EarthboundBenjy Maybe the Wii remake? That's retro now! I know the history (Santa got me the first two games many many years ago) and wasn't commenting on the value proposition for the package on offer which is very fair, just that use of the word 'collection' that to me felt a little grand. My two-cents, A Boy and His Blob: Retro Compilation feels like a better fit for two games.

Last time Nintendo did an ambassador programme it was just something to pacify those impacted by a business decision they’d had to make. I think we know what’s going on, it’s a title to cushion the blow.

I never played Turok 3 back in the day after being let down by Turok 2 (N64 Magazine was well off in their review!). Nightdive made Turok 2 playable and I really enjoyed playing it on Switch so will give this a go when it launches.

I’m so pleased to be able to play it again without having to unpack the N64 and messing with the retrotink. Finally the other NSO N64 pads can be unboxed!

If they are missing it’s emulation rather than an artistic choice. It would be a little disappointing after 25 years.

The music in the full trailer sounds like elements are missing too, hoping it’s a deliberate (yet odd) choice for the media announcing its release. But as that’s two pieces of music with missing instruments I am a little apprehensive.

Waiting for GoldeneEye to be added to NSO.

@Clyde_Radcliffe I play Goldeneye pretty regularly so there’s nothing to adjust to. I just want the convenience of having it on Switch.

I first bought Mario Kart 8 in 2014, what a return on investment Nintendo are having on that beauty!

An all time classic! Played through the championship twice already today, a classic game that holds up really really well.

Outside of more Rare stuff, ISS64 or Mystical Ninja would be nice to have next. Or Snowboard Kids. Or Fighters Destiny.

@TKundNobody Ooooh, for me I think Blue Storm is the more polished experience but 64 is the better game, I enjoy playing it more at least and I prefer the music and commentary (the original, not the changes made to the Shindu edition). It’s definitely the earlier version but I prefer the rough edges.
