@pepsilover2008 @Ralizah Of course, I understand they have a niche and an audience who are interested in their analysis and I totally respect their expertise. I think sometimes (sometimes!) this stuff is given more weight than is actually warranted.

I’ve been playing Hitman on the Switch 2 for a couple of weeks and it’s not been that much of an issue for me, even docked. I’d welcome anything to improve it but I’d fix the online requirement and lack of gyro first.

I love the mechanics of this game, but this update feels like it's moving away from what (for me personally anyway) is really needed to make this game shine:

• Grand Prix is laps only
• Knockout Tour is the connected routes
• Add a way to show progress in free roam.

That's it!

Yay! Had this on CD back in the day (Love, Peace and Happiness) so great to have this streamable. Looks like a couple of tracks have been renamed but either way this is a cracking blast from the past!

The music to Four-in-a-Row is a banger to be fair.

Free roam needs a checklist. If you can’t track your progress it doesn’t feel like you’re making any, which is why its absence is so strange to me. Seems like a massive own goal.

Oh and Grand Prix should ideally have been regular laps only.

It's definitely weird but thankfully muscle memory kicked in and I've been fine with default - less of a hassle when using the Wind Waker but nice the option is there.

The preview screen in the options in SC make it looked stretched but when in the game it looks ok (to me at least).

@MeerkatSimples You have to set it within each game, only FZ and SC have 16:9 options.

Also, if you hold the left stick in any direction after launching the GC app - it plays the GC intro!

@Paul12345 I’d imagine it will be the same to the other apps. GameCube games (code, art assets etc) are all different sizes, with most being much smaller than the 1.36GB ISO size when games are ripped from discs.

@Justifier When I’ve ordered stuff from the Nintendo store in the past (including consoles) they have always arrived on release day.

Kinda shocking not have Eternal Darkness on this list, it’s never had a sequel or remake. It’s an all timer that deserves to be available on other hardware.

@Wilforce Read the wording of the lawsuit, it's not about the leaks but what is actionable against their trademarks. Also there is a difference between users of Discord/4Chan/Twitter and an accessory manufacturer making false claims (which as the article has already stated, Genki has admitted to) and infringing on trademark to boost their business.

In short, these are the facts of the situation. Company A feels they have grounds to take action against Company B - that's it. They are free to do so, this is the process and the outcome of this process is up to the courts who are impartial.

@Wilforce The issue is stated in the lawsuit. Genki will be single-handily responsible for damages (if the case goes that way) because they took the action they did. Who else would be responsible?

Nintendo believe Genki “used Nintendo's trademarks and trade dress in connection with the marketing of its business and its unauthorized third-party accessories, in violation of Nintendo's rights in those marks”. Which sounds fair enough.

Not surprising, didn’t think the juice was going to be worth the squeeze for Genki on this one.

Basing sales projections on the social media followers of the original games composer is one way to go. The project just needs to be scaled correctly and given to the right team.

@Yosher Yeah I know, would love the Nintendo logo to appear on the GB app when launching a game, just doesn’t feel right without it! Just hoping for this one as it’s maybe the most iconic of them all to me.

@lyle_catcliffe Good question, I’d hope it’s an option - it’s as iconic as any game on the platform.

@AhabSpampurse Ha! Turok forced me to get a Memory Pak too! The scars from the SNES and early N64 days are still fresh, probably why MKW doesn’t seem too bad if I get the same out of it I did with MK8.

Saying that, Toys R Us did Goldeneye for £34.99 on launch day and as me and a particular friend still play it, only workout to be about £1.50 a year so far!

As it currently stands NSO is great value for money, especially the all above and the Nintendo Music app (which I do sadly use a lot!).

It’s the Super Nintendo Switch to me anyway!
