Censorship is lame and it's even more lame when it happens post-release in a game that was advertised as being true to the originals. I'll make sure not to buy any games from Aspyr in the future.

My favorite GB game is the port of Konami's awesome Blades of Steel. I actually like it as much as the NES version.

True, but, Xbox doesn't have much of a market in Japan. If PS5 was getting outsold by the Series consoles, that would be a major concern.

I'd say those sales are abysmal. And I'm a big fan of PlayStation.

Princess Peach Showtime actually sold a bit better than I thought it would.

I don't care for roguelikes but I love the TMNT IP so I'll check this out and hope I enjoy the gameplay enough to stick with it.

He was also one of the big advocates for the Yakuza series and convinced Sega and Sony to give it another try in the West. If his connections can get that series on Switch 2, that's a big deal. Probably a long shot but this is the best chance of that happening now.

On the Nintendo side, Princess Peach: Showtime and F-Zero Maximum Velocity on the Switch and Dead or Alive Dimensions on 3DS. I had the latter years ago but foolishly traded it in, been looking for it in recent years at a reasonable price and finally found a good deal at a local retro shop. Still one of my favorite fighting games on the system, always was very impressed with the way the 3D pops on that one despite cutting the framerate in half.

The first GBA game I played, and still one of my favorites. Looking forward to replaying it, this time on a tv.

I bought it and I'm enjoying it so far.

I like what I played in the demo, definitely looking forward to getting the game on Friday. Interested to see if it reviews in the 70s or in the mid-80s like Luigi's Mansion 3. Could see it going either way.

Really enjoy what I played in the demo.

This announcement was a big-time W.

Whenever it launches, I'm getting it day one as long as it has at least one big exclusive worth it. There's no doubt in my mind that it will.

Switch - Mario vs. Donkey Kong

Yeah, I just got to the fifth world and it's a lot of fun. Only other game I've played in the series is Mario vs. Donkey Kong Minis March Again on the DSi, thought that was a great game so decided to give this a shot as well. Had a bunch of rewards points saved up for a coupon at Gamestop and was able to get it for just a little over $35.

I have it on PS4 but as others have stated, if it runs well on Switch, definitely double dipping. Great game.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and City are my two favorite superhero games of all-time. Happy the Switch ports turned out well enough, it's nice to be able to play them at home or on the go.

After those, my favorite Batman game is the NES version of the one based on the 1989 movie, which holds up surprisingly well. I remember opening it up on Christmas morning in 1990 and playing all day. I've always been a huge fan of the Batman universe so that Christmas is one of my most cherished childhood memories.

Still the best superhero game ever made. Not the greatest port but more than competent enough, I've played it both docked and undocked and only notice some slight frame drops here and there but not too often, certainly not enough to sour the experience.

It'd be better than gender-swapping Link but if Nintendo does make Zelda playable I'd hope it's because the devs want to do it and not just to pander to people on Twitter and those who write for certain websites.

Picked up the game on launch day and been playing Asylum since, I haven't noticed many issues other than a frame rate drop here or there but it's very infrequent. Overall been a good experience and I'd say it's a more than competent port. If City performs even better, which some have suggested, that's great. Never expected Knight would run well and I'm not really that disappointed about it because it's easily my least favorite of the trilogy. Going through it once on PS4 was enough.

I've been playing Arkham Asylum, docked and undocked, and it runs well for the most part. Visuals definitely seem downgraded but overall it's still a great time just like it was back in 2009.

Decapitation and beating female characters to a bloody pulp in certain games is cool, but Heaven forbid young people might see or use the word 'bimbo.' Really is freaking stupid when you think about it.

There's definitely some nostalgia involved when talking about older games so it's definitely not a 1:1 comparison but I do think SMB 3 and World hold up extremely well even today. If all were released at the same time? I'd probably go back and forth between 3 and Wonder but there was so much about World that still has it above all the other Mario games for me. That's not to talk down on Wonder. I love it, it's my favorite game this year and one of my favorite in the entire Switch library. Controls great like you said, looks great, the sound design is top notch, and has some of the best level design out there. The overworld is fantastic and fun to explore. Really my only complaint is lack of boss variety.

Awesome. Collected all the Metroid Prime Remastered and Super Mario Bros. Wonder icons. These will also be added.

It's awesome and in the top 3 of 2D Super Mario games but I can't put it ahead of World or SMB 3.

I'm nearing the end of chapter 2. Really like it so far but it's a shorter experience. Only five chapters, I think, but if you like the series, I definitely recommend it since it adds to the story.

Great start and well deserved. My favorite game of the year so far and I've played and enjoyed pretty much all the big releases.

Lots of good stuff, Switch has been my go-to system for most 2D games (platformers or otherwise). I'd say my five favorites in this genre are Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Sonic Mania, DKC Tropical Freeze, Mega Man 11 and Sonic Superstars (played on Xbox Series X, not Switch, though).

Pro Controller because of the HD rumble but I do enjoy using the Super Nintendo classic controller from time to time.

No it's not 'a bit much.' It's a video game, a work of fiction, people need to stop being so damn hypersensitive. If you don't like the content, don't buy it, that simple but there are far more egregious things than this in gaming, in movies, tv shows, etc.

10/10 for me. A few minor complaints but nothing that greatly detracts from the game, though it is stuff that if Nintendo continues to build off this game (which I hope it does, 2D and 3D Mario can co-exist), I want to see fixed.

There's plenty of room for both the 2D and 3D entries, but I agree at the start of a generation when a company is most looking to sell consoles, 3D is the way to go because it's the best way to show off a system's capabilities. The 2D entries are great for mid or end of generation releases after the console has been established on the market.

It is a big step up from the NSMB games, thankfully. I liked those games a lot but they weren't on the same level of World, 3, 1, Lost Levels or even the NA version of 2. This one really is the true successor to World.

If I were reviewing it professionally, an 8 or 8.5. But as far as how I much I enjoy playing it, 10/10. I'll be replaying frequently.

I'll be adding all of them to my collection.
