Yeah, I'm disappointed MadWorld hasn't been ported by now. Especially considering the close relationship Nintendo has with Platinum Games and Sega.

Was there a sale on Series X? That's quite a bump.

Wish it was on Xbox but since apparently MS is more concerned about making rearend controllers than getting good games on its console a Switch version is better than nothing.

It's hard to argue. When Luigi's Mansion 3 launched in 2019 it was, to me, easily the best looking Switch game. I do think it's been surpassed by Metroid Prime Remastered but both have fantastic art styles. Really no wrong choice between the two.

The recent MvC games weren't exactly great. Capcom should just stick to Street Fighter and bring 6 over to Switch 2.

Wii Sports and Resort are definitely the better, more polished games, imo, but this one is still plenty fun and, at least for me, improves quite a bit with this recent addition. The 3-point challenge was my favorite mini-game in Resort.

All great games but Metroid is my favorite Nintendo series so I'll be firing up Zero Mission first. Can't wait to play it on the tv.

I'm happy we have a new 2D Zelda game and Zelda in the starring role is cool, I've said in the past it would be cool to play as her using her unique abilities, but I hope there is more to the gameplay, deeper combat that will be shown off as we get closer to release date.

I'd love to see a fourth sine NMH 1-3 are all among my favorite action games, but, if it doesn't happen, at least 3 provides enough closure to the story.

Seems like a cool game but need a demo. Also hope it runs well on Switch, if not, I'll have to get the PS5 version, which has happened more often lately.

Not my favorite Resident Evil game by any means but I still enjoyed Leon and Helena's campaign. Not surprised by the sales numbers, there is a market for Capcom games on Nintendo consoles and RE has a strong history with the brand as well. Wish there had been an original entry in the series, though, something like Revelations 3 or a new Chronicles game.

A new DKC game developed by Retro would be great but what I'd really love to see is a new 3D entry. Way overdue.

I know the MK 1 port sucked. Didn't read much great about Hogwart's Legacy either. Seems like an odd purchase.

Of course. What you just typed is why since I first played SMB way back in the late 80s I've preferred games to movies. I'm just saying, if a game series that deals mostly with zombies (something that doesn't necessarily need a fantastic story) can't be done justice on the big screen, it's doubtful Zelda will be either, even with Nintendo's involvement.

Hollywood could never get Resident Evil right and that franchise revolves around zombies. I have very little hope for a live action Zelda movie.

I was never able to get into the series until Rise but that's easily one of my top 5 favorite games on Switch, had a fantastic time with it. Can't wait for Wilds, hopefully it'll be on Switch 2.

Fine with me. If Nintendo can make a fun Princess Peach game (I really do enjoy Showtime), give Zelda a chance, too. There's probably a bit more potential with a Zelda-focused game just based on the world and lore of the LoZ series.

I prefer physical to digital so the words of support for it are nice but that's all they are. We'll see what happens a few years into the Switch successor's time on the market. Nintendo might stay true to this longer than I'm thinking but I don't trust any of these corporations.

It wouldn't improve the sales of Metroid games at all. What it would increase is the amount of people asking for Nintendo to go multiplat. The second Nintendo brings one of its big games to PC or does even a simple cross-platform promotion with one of its characters, it's all over in the hardware game for the company.

Not sure this would be considered a 'deep cut,' but if the licenses could be worked out, I'd love to see the GB version of Blades of Steel show up on NSO. That was a great port of a brilliant NES game.

Except nobody was even complaining about it, which makes the removal all the more ridiculous. Just Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr being Crystal Dynamics and Aspryr. More ticked off at myself, though, because I believed them when they said the games would be unaltered.

It was in the game then removed. It's censorship.

Censorship is lame and it's even more lame when it happens post-release in a game that was advertised as being true to the originals. I'll make sure not to buy any games from Aspyr in the future.

My favorite GB game is the port of Konami's awesome Blades of Steel. I actually like it as much as the NES version.

True, but, Xbox doesn't have much of a market in Japan. If PS5 was getting outsold by the Series consoles, that would be a major concern.

I'd say those sales are abysmal. And I'm a big fan of PlayStation.

Princess Peach Showtime actually sold a bit better than I thought it would.

I don't care for roguelikes but I love the TMNT IP so I'll check this out and hope I enjoy the gameplay enough to stick with it.

He was also one of the big advocates for the Yakuza series and convinced Sega and Sony to give it another try in the West. If his connections can get that series on Switch 2, that's a big deal. Probably a long shot but this is the best chance of that happening now.

Stellar Blade demo, Tekken 8 and Final Fantasy XVI on the PS5.

On the Nintendo side, Princess Peach: Showtime and F-Zero Maximum Velocity on the Switch and Dead or Alive Dimensions on 3DS. I had the latter years ago but foolishly traded it in, been looking for it in recent years at a reasonable price and finally found a good deal at a local retro shop. Still one of my favorite fighting games on the system, always was very impressed with the way the 3D pops on that one despite cutting the framerate in half.

The first GBA game I played, and still one of my favorites. Looking forward to replaying it, this time on a tv.

I bought it and I'm enjoying it so far.

I like what I played in the demo, definitely looking forward to getting the game on Friday. Interested to see if it reviews in the 70s or in the mid-80s like Luigi's Mansion 3. Could see it going either way.

Really enjoy what I played in the demo.

This announcement was a big-time W.

Whenever it launches, I'm getting it day one as long as it has at least one big exclusive worth it. There's no doubt in my mind that it will.

Switch - Mario vs. Donkey Kong

PS5 - Tekken 8

Yeah, I just got to the fifth world and it's a lot of fun. Only other game I've played in the series is Mario vs. Donkey Kong Minis March Again on the DSi, thought that was a great game so decided to give this a shot as well. Had a bunch of rewards points saved up for a coupon at Gamestop and was able to get it for just a little over $35.

I have it on PS4 but as others have stated, if it runs well on Switch, definitely double dipping. Great game.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and City are my two favorite superhero games of all-time. Happy the Switch ports turned out well enough, it's nice to be able to play them at home or on the go.

After those, my favorite Batman game is the NES version of the one based on the 1989 movie, which holds up surprisingly well. I remember opening it up on Christmas morning in 1990 and playing all day. I've always been a huge fan of the Batman universe so that Christmas is one of my most cherished childhood memories.

Still the best superhero game ever made. Not the greatest port but more than competent enough, I've played it both docked and undocked and only notice some slight frame drops here and there but not too often, certainly not enough to sour the experience.

It'd be better than gender-swapping Link but if Nintendo does make Zelda playable I'd hope it's because the devs want to do it and not just to pander to people on Twitter and those who write for certain websites.

Picked up the game on launch day and been playing Asylum since, I haven't noticed many issues other than a frame rate drop here or there but it's very infrequent. Overall been a good experience and I'd say it's a more than competent port. If City performs even better, which some have suggested, that's great. Never expected Knight would run well and I'm not really that disappointed about it because it's easily my least favorite of the trilogy. Going through it once on PS4 was enough.
