Excellent game. So much so I bought the Collectors Edition.

Bought this on release and haven't opened it yet.
Will have to change that.

I still have my original complete in box in mint condition along with every other Pal release so I'm good.

Shame they left out the best part.

Glad others get to enjoy it though since complete in box N64 prices are extreme these days.

So glad I bought the whole collection of 244+ games CIB released here in Australia though, my kids love playing them and couch multiplayer is alive and well in my household.

I'll stick to the Wii U versions with excellent gamepad integration.

Arkham Knight I can live without.

Most of us didn't need the award to know this but glad it won it.

This game looks great.
Can't wait for the physical.
Hopefully it gets a great CE.

I like what you called Batman knight btw, seems appropriate 😄.

Also, I still prefer the Wii U version of the other two though, the gamepad adds so much to the gameplay in very unique ways that it makes up for any other shortcomings it might have. Once you've played a game that uses the Wii U's strengths like the dual screen it makes it very hard to go back to standard controls or standard versions.

Batman, Tekken Tag, Splinter Cell, NFS, Rayman, Zombiu, Mass Effect, Mario Maker 1 are all much better games than their sequels or on other platforms because of the way the second screen is used.
Until you've played them on Wii U you really are missing out.

So regardless of whether it runs better or not, it still is an inferior version.

Which leads me to my original point and comment anyway, "sad when your older system plays a game better than your new one"
I just wish the Switch got a decent version of the Batman series like the Wii U did.
They're great games and deserve better.
At least they put effort into the Wii U versions unlike this obvious cash grab.

No they're not.
HD with extra controls that use the second screen better than Nintendo ever did, and they run smoothly.
I never had one drop.
By the sounds of it Switch versions are a hot mess.
I'll stick to my Wii U version any day.

Just wish WB didn't ruin some great games by getting lazy.

I'm loving Arkham on my Wii U, extra features and runs great.
The second screen is something even Switch can't do.

Sad when your older system plays a game better than your new one.

I finished Moonscars recently and while it does have some serious frame drops in places I still absolutely loved it.

My daughter is playing Wind Waker HD ATM and loves my Wii U.

I bought a Xenoblade Chronicles LE console at the end of its life cycle for cheap as a back up when my original launch model dies.

Games that used the second screen to improve its games are still some of the best versions available.

Started Cult of the Lamb, really enjoying it, some good fun.

Continuing Mario Wonder 4 player with the Family.

Started Rage 2 on my PS4, loving it so far, good brutal fun.

Also picked up my NES Action Pack CIB this week so I'm setting that up to play Duck Hunt with my daughter. She's a natural.

Finished Hyper Light Drifter this week.
Amazing.
Absolutely loved it.

Started my 3rd run through of 8 Doors Arum's Afterlife Adventure since my first 2 were stopped with a game breaking bug that wiped your save file right near the end of the game!
Thankfully it has been patched and I can confirm that it now works properly.
Luckily it's a great game to have repeat playthroughs.

Also playing Mario Wonder 4 player with the Family and we hope to start Mario RPG this week

I just finished Zapling Bygone, Dog World, Astalon, Blasphemous 2 and Moonscars all in the last few weeks so this is definitely going on the Wishlist.

Also I wait to see if a physical copy gets announced, which usually happens later once the game is patched and fixed anyway.
I'd rather have a physical copy but if not I'll get it on sale.

I still own all three cib for my 64 but I'd love it to be portable.

Highly recommend Carrion and Mummy Demastered, those are fantastic Metroidvania's.

Being evil never felt so good.

Both are so good I tracked down physical copies of both.

The way you move in Carrion is both amazing and unnerving at the same time.

Hopefully it gets a physical.
Also hope they do a collector's edition, they could do a Baker's dozen of art cards and release it in a box in the style of a toaster.

Just recently finished Blasphemous 2 ( excellent), Sundered Eldritch Edition (under rated gem) and Moonscars (loved it) so I'll bite.

Also just hunted down a cheap new physical copy of Dogworld after reading the NL community suggestions and I am currently playing through Gal Guardians so this looks like my sort of game.

No, there are never enough Metroidvania's, I've had a lot of very lean years before the Switch so I'm loving this generation.

I bought a second Xenoblade LE Wii U console when retailers were getting rid of them for cheap.
Still brand new unopened.

The one game that hasn't been brought over to Switch yet.

I bought 4 when stores were clearing them out for cheap.
I have 2 being used and 2 still brand new unopened.
2 Pokemon ones and 2 Mario kart ones.
Great machine for bigger hands.

Just finished Moonscars.
Really loved it, has a real Blasphemous vibe.

Started Axiom Verge 2 since my CE arrived, absolutely loving it.

Also my Blasphemous 2 and Gal Guardians Demon Purge physical arrived so I'll be getting into either one of those two.

I love unique takes on the Metroidvania genre.

Yoku's Island Express mixed pinball beautifully with it and this looks like another great mix up.

There was 2 versions released on the original DS.
Still have my original DS release in mint condition.
Not the re-release with the different red cover but the original harder version that had less save points.

My favourites are:
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Afterimage
Ghost Song

Definitely Ori, it is beautiful and is one of the best.
Afterimage if you want a massive game with multiple endings and some really nice art.
Ghost Song if you want a game with heaps of atmosphere and great sound.

Elderand and Infernax if you want a more traditional Castlevania type of Metroidvania.

Honestly though, they all deserve a playthrough.

Just remake or reboot Viewtiful Joe you cowards!

Thankfully I've had a few Metroidvania's released in the meantime to pass the time and am playing catch-up with others.

Just finished Infernax, Elderand, Ori & the will of Wisps, Ghost Song, The Guise, Salt and Sanctuary, Afterimage, Outbuddies DX , Astronite and Aeterna Noctis in the last few months alone and have bought a heap more as well.

Still, would be nice to finally play this though.

Just got my N64 iQue so I'll be playing around with that.

Also finished Elderand and loved it, recommend it.
Started my LE of Infernax and I'm really enjoying it.

Bought a physical copy of Moonscars as well so I'll be straight into that after Infernax.

My LE of Axiom Verge 2 arrived so too my copy of Blasphemous 2 so I've got Metroidvania overload, not that I'm complaining though.

There's a few other rarities in my collection but they're probably the rarest.
I bought doubles years ago so yes, I have played them.

I would love a few of the signatures that's in the video, that's for sure.
