Am I the only person who remembers playing this when it released in the arcades?

Hey everyone.
The last couple of weeks I have finished Chronicles of the Wolf. Thoroughly enjoyed it, great old school Metroidvania with some amazing music.

Got further in Cyberpunk 2077, love the amount of things to do.

Also started a game by a small indie developer that has gone under the radar, it is called Silksong.
You should really check it out.
It is a punishment simulator that is disguised as a Metroidvania.

Also have Mandragora Collectors Edition and Earth Atlantis Elite Edition arriving this week so I look forward to getting into those too.

I fell for it but I had enough health to not kill me, then disarmed it. I think the game is a sadistic joke on us the players. 😁
I will add that this game loves to punish you for everything you do. Sort of kills the motivation to push on.

Shame the reviews for it on PC aren't the best. Average apparently.

Worst thing is no physical for S2. That just kills it for me sadly

It plays beautifully on Switch 2. I bought the Secret Edition and it played flawlessly. I had no problems whatsoever. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yikes!

Hey everyone. This week I've finished Shadow Labyrinth on my S2.
I really enjoyed it until the end when it becomes a boss rush game. Ruined all the hard work they did with the main game. Really loved the Pacman, Galaxian and Dig Dug sections.

Also played more Cyberpunk on my S2 as well. Loving it.

Getting through Legend of Tianding on my S1.
Love the combat.

Started Chronicle's of the Wolf or what I like to call Castlevania of the Wolf.
Love the old school vibes.

Glad I'm not the only one.
I was scratching my head asking myself "is this spot the difference because I can't see any?"

I don't like buying games twice and I can't see the need to with most of these "upgrades".

I'm glad others are happy to but for me, I like new games with my new console.

Cold Fear's ship section is awesome. I remember playing it and being wowed at the time. Can't wait for a reboot

This week I've been playing some great games

Switch
The Legend of Tianding.
Really enjoying this game, some great art and the fighting is very satisfying. Good stuff.

Switch 2
Cyberpunk 2077. Absolutely getting right into this. The game has so much to see and do, I'm loving it.

Shadow Labyrinth. Secret Edition.
Playing this on Switch 2 as I heard it struggles on Switch. Plays beautifully on S2, buttery smooth and some great art and sound. I'm really enjoying it. I must be playing a different version from reviews because it plays perfectly on S2. It did have a big update before I could play it but I've encountered no hassles whatsoever so reviewers really need to revisit it. I bought the Switch version on cart and got the free S2 update.

Also had Chronicles of the Wolf and Pipistrello arrive this week as well so I'm looking forward to some great games.

Finished Endless Memories, an average Metroidvania.
Started The Legend of Tianding. Really enjoying it, nice art.

Cyberpunk 2077. Getting further, absolutely loving it and it looks fantastic on my 4K gaming TV.

DK Bananza. Lots of fun so far.

On the last boss of Callisto Protocol, what a great game. Some amazing atmosphere.

Medal of Honor, love this game.

Tonic Trouble.
Really like this game. Very enjoyable, looks great too.

Really enjoyed it, great exploration Metroidvania.

Endless Memories
A good Metroidvania that has some great ideas but does nothing new.

Switch 2:
DK Bananza
Loving it.
Cyberpunk 2077
I'll probably finish this game by 2077.

PS4:
Callisto Protocol
Love the atmosphere and I absolutely loved the Dead Space series so this was a no brainer.

So many great games in my backlog atm.

Absolutely loved it.

Started Tevi, really enjoying it.
It has a huge map with heaps of areas to explore.

Also grabbed DK Bananza so I'm looking forward to going bananas.

I have Shadow Labyrinth Secret Edition, Pipistrello and Chronicles of the Wolf on the way to me so I'll have plenty of games to play soon.

The last couple of weeks have been busy.

I finally put all my games up into my new cabinets in my new games room.
My complete Pal N64 cib collection is all put away, and I finally built my arcade cabinets as well.
Just got to set up my lights and top shelves.

I also finished Lost Epic.
Absolutely loved this game. A huge Metroidvania with some excellent fighting and combat mechanics that puts some so called dedicated fighters to shame.

Also started Vigil: The Longest Night.
Really enjoying it, a great Metroidvania that has a huge map and heaps of weapons. Great stuff.

Also plodding along with Cyberpunk 2077. Thoroughly enjoying it.

This week I've played more MarioKart World to the surprise of nobody.

Finished Cookie Cutter Overkill Edition.
An excellent game with some great humour and very adult themes.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a great Metroidvania.

Played some more Mario RPG, really enjoying it.

Also started Lost Epic.
A very deep Metroidvania with rpg mechanics and some great fighting combinations. Thoroughly enjoying it.

Hope you all had fun with your Switch 2 this week, I know I have.

This week my family and I put in some stupid hours into Mario kart world, we've been having a great time every night this week.

I'd say I got to play some more Cyberpunk 2077 as well but since my eldest daughter is addicted to MKW I've had to wait.
Thankfully my S1 is still on our big screen so while she plays yet another game of MKW I've been playing some more of Ultros, chipping away at it.

I also started the excellent Cookie Cutter Overkill Edition, this game is amazing. Absolutely highly recommended if you like a very good Metroidvania.

We've also played some more of Mario RPG but not a lot since the S2 arrived.

We've need to get back into Hello Kitty Island Adventure, we might try them all on the S2 once were allowed to steal it back off my daughter.

Hey everyone.
I had a very busy week this week

I had my birthday on Monday, received my Switch 2 on Thursday and played lots of games and my 2 new cabinets arrived so I can finally put my CIB Pal N64 collection up on display to play like they deserve. All 244+ of them.

This week I finished Catmaze , a cute little Metroidvania.
It was good, nothing amazing but still very enjoyable.

Also started Ultros.
Love the art style and mix of gardening with the usual Metroidvania elements.

Also played some more Hello Kitty Island Adventure with the family, good relaxing fun.

Also started Mario RPG.
What an excellent game, so much fun.

Finally set up my new Switch 2 and played some Cyberpunk 2077.
Looks stunning and I love the freedom.
Great start.
It wouldn't be a Switch 2 party without Mario Kart World.
The family and I are having a blast, great fun and I love the free roaming.
