I used to prefer to game on A, I have no reason to game on B, and C doesn't even have any games I like. I prefer A because it is before B and C.
B and C are too late as A has done it before both of them.
I had both A and B years ago but now I moved to D, it has more than I need and blows A,B and C out of the water.
Now I play on A for the exclusives and have D to play the games from B and C
Now Apply this to every game conversation ever, and repeat for the next 100 years.
Now you know your A, B, C's......and the occasional D.
As a long time Nintendo fan this article sounds so obnoxious and arrogant.
I never like it when Nintendo become this way, they usually fail when they do. Wii sells like hotcakes, they get too comfortable and fall on their sword with the Wii U.
I love competition, it brings out the best in these companies, I'd buy either if they have decent products, it makes Nintendo uncomfortable and makes them take risks, that's when they're at their best.
I'm still healing.
In the meantime I'm playing Oddworld Strangers Wrath.
I decided to dust off my CE and finally open it.
I loved the original and this looks so much cleaner. Love Oddworld's artwork.
Finished Grimvalor NG+, really enjoyed it.
Also playing NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered with the family.
Having a blast.
While I'm cleaning out my cupboards I found my Xbox 360 LE CIB, my second CIB Wii U and my second CIB N64 console so I'll be going through and "testing" those as well.
Oh, I should add that I finally built and hooked up my Arcade 1Up machines.
My Rampage/Midway collection machine and my Pacman 40th Anniversary machine so I can't wait to get into those.
In going to choose something totally wild here and go with DURABILITY
I'd like a console that when I buy it doesn't need repairs within a month and constant controllers that need fixing
Seriously, I'm not joking.
My experience from day one was horrendous with my new day one Switch.
Cracked casing, 3 in total, major drift (been sent back 4 times and still has drift), an SD card reader that didn't work on day one.
I got the biggest Switch lemon of the lot so durability means the world to me
I was 6 weeks without a console that wasn't even a month old.
I couldn't get it replaced as there were no Switch consoles available to replace it with as it was in the launch window so it has to be sent back to Nintendo to be repaired which took 6 weeks. Not great for my kids who were super excited and had to wait while their lemon of a console was repaired.
Good times.....grrrrr
I loved playing most of these in the arcades, along with second hand smoke, booming sounds from all the arcade games, music from the jukeboxes and coins lined up the side for those people waiting to play next.
Great times.
Rastan is worth the price of entry alone.
I've been watching this for a while
This was already on my wishlist.
I'll buy it digitally and in the meantime wait patiently for a physical copy.
Hopefully a nice CE from Premium Edition.
Just preordered Turbo Kid Deluxe Edition from them so fingers crossed they pick this up.
Still healing from dislocating my shoulder, still painful but I'm slowly healing.
Would have been better to break it.
While I'm healing I finished Alien Isolation.
Loved it, great looking game on Switch, I have the DLC to do next.
Taking a break from it and finished Grimvalor which I really enjoyed.
So much so I'm going through on NG+ which adds in extra enemies and new weapons. Also picked up a local copy (Australian) of The Last Faith as I can't wait for my Nycrux Edition from VGP which isn't coming until next year as I ordered it with Lost Ruins.
At least I won't have to open it I suppose.
Hey everyone.
I'm still recovering from dislocating my shoulder and tearing the muscles from the bone.
Just finished Astral Ascent.
80+ hours and I loved every minute of it.
Only one ending.
Got about 14 to go , guessing by all the characters that are in it.
Great anime artwork.
One of the best if not the best Rogue likes I've played.
Absolutely highly recommended.
Thought I'd try a change of pace and opened my VHS Edition of Alien Isolation
Loving it so far, the sound through my amp and surround sound system is awesome, definitely only playing this through the day, no night time plays π
Love the cat and mouse gameplay, unfortunately I'm used to being the cat.
I recently picked up a iQue for a bargain. Had great fun opening it out of the box and discovering all its little quirks. I could only imagine the fun of opening this up.
Don't let Nintendo fool you. This is clearly because they used cheap parts. I mean seriously, I pee all over my other electronic devices and have had no trouble at all. Clearly Nintendo are just covering their backside, and front side for that matter.
I'm hoping that the borders are restrictive and they lean into that for the Metroidvania elements.
I hope that you can't progress "through" them without the right moveset.
Which would be an interesting way to use the comic book aesthetic.
You know, an actual new game, while I'm dreaming a1080 and Wave Race new game would be excellent since you' have a massive user base like the Switch has.
Indies have delivered more gaming hours for me than any of the bigger companies and I hope this continues on the new Nintendo console.
Some of the best games available for the Switch are from Indies.
I'll still take more support from the bigger companies as a nice side dish.
@Rainz It's an awesome game. Plays so smoothly too. Great game game to have in your backlog.
@Ooyah Thanks. Yeah, had a week to forget that's for sure. Taking it easy sounds like a good idea π Thanks for the kind words, hope you have a great weekend.
I had a busy week. Had eye ops to replace both my lens. Had a fall 2 days before it and dislocated my shoulder, popped it back in but tore 2 muscles
So I've been resting and playing my Switch.
Started and finished Escape from Nazarick after my CE arrived from LRG.
Also about 3/4 of the way through Rack n Ruin retro edition.
Started and finished Wife Quest retro edition. It has a couple of frustrating parts but overall I enjoyed it.
My copy of Astral Ascent arrived from LRG, I love this game. It is soo good. So much to unlock and you always feel like you're achieving something on each run. Highly recommended.
This reminds me, I need to buy a replacement Gamepad for my Wii U
Also, NFS Most Wanted, Deus Ex, Zombie U, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Rayman, Batman and Project Zero all play significantly better on Wii U with amazing gamepad features not seen in any other versions so I'll gladly keep playing those and other games on my Wii U.
I have to import a lot of games here in Australia due to them not getting a local release.
I grab the local release if I can but I'm used to ordering through Playasia and others for my gaming fix.
Furtastic!
My daughter will love this fur sure.
It is great they're all on the one cat, sorry cart.
Makes me feel all warm and furry on the inside.
Meowbe I'll try them since I havent played them yet.
Then I'll be a cool cat.
Ok, I'll stop now, these cat puns are becoming a bit tiresome, I'll go take a catnap.
Finished Grime,
Started New Game+, level 112 and still going strong, love it.
Started and finished Pepper Grinder.
Awesome little game that reminds me of some of Nintendo's platformers.
Some great gameplay mechanics that both surprised me and made me smile at the same time.
Just started Rack n Ruin, brilliant so far.
I will start Wife Quest next as well.
Love the quality of Premium Edition Games Retro Editions, really high grade.
My copy of Overlord: Escape from Nazarick CE is finally on its way from LRG so I look forward to playing that when it arrives.
Still playing Grime, absolutely loving it. Plays great on Switch now since the update. Load times have been dramatically improved and the lag is non existent too.
My copies of Zelda Echoes and Pepper Grinder arrived so I look forward to getting into those.
So too my Retro Editions of Wife Quest and Rack n Ruin arrived last week so I have those waiting for me to play.
Finished BΓ΅ Path of the Teal Lotus, absolutely brilliant.
Also finished Beholgar, really enjoyed it. Now I need to buy a physical copy.
Also finished MO Astray.
This game is amazing. Absolutely loved it and the unique gameplay concept pushes it into my top 5 action puzzle platformers. Highly recommended. Wish it had a physical release as it absolutely deserves one.
Started Unsighted.
This game gives me Hyper Light Drifter vibes and that can only be a good thing
Really enjoying it so far.
My copy of Yars Rising arrived this week too so I'm looking forward to getting into that as well.
I have a physical copy being delivered to me tomorrow.
Can't wait.
Must be very limited print though as you can only order it through EB here in Australia and I could only choose delivery, no pick ups.
I'd rather that than wait for 8 months for a LRG print though
I'm up to the last boss in BΓ΅ Path of the Teal Lotus.
Started Batbarian Testament of the Primordials, what a great tough as nails Metroidvania. It has some very cool puzzles that break up the combat.
Also bought Dex, Beholgar, MO Astray and Unsighted off the eShop whilst they were on sale so I'll have them to play as well.
Finished Sanabi last week.
What an excellent game, didn't expect such a great story but man, it is so well told. Loved it
Also put in 30+ hours into Rusted Moss and still have heaps to discover. I have discovered hidden challenge areas that are as big as the main map. The bungee mechanic takes a fair bit of practice to "get" but once you do, boy does it pay off.
One of my top favourite Metroidvania's ever. Highly recommended to anyone that loves an original concept in a MV game.
Also started BΓ΅ Path of the Teal Lotus
This game is amazing, beautiful to look at and a joy to play. Highly recommend this game to those like myself waiting for Silk Solong
About halfway through Metroid Prime Remastered. This game still looks great today but looks even better now with the remaster.
Edit:
I got The Doinksoft Collection as a father's Day gift!
Can't wait to get into that too.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Gunbrella is excellent and imo a better game than Gato Roboto.
I'm yet to play Demon Throttle but it looks excellent.
Worth the price alone just for Gunbrella imo.
