Hey everyone.
This week I finished Rebel Transmute.
It was good but man there are some infuriating sections, luckily not enough to ruin the experience too much for me to get to the end

Started Rogue Legacy 2 after my CE arrived from LRG.
Really enjoying it, constantly unlocking stuff and upgrading which is nice and rewarding.

Also started Rainworld, I really like the world they created but it loves to punish you for the slightest of mistakes.
It really pushes the friendship and tries hard to make you not like the game but I won't let it break me....yet.

Still getting further in Ash & Halloween double pack as well.

I will also be playing some of my N64 games, more than likely some. Robotron 64 and maybe some Mace: The Dark Age. Love those games.

Hey everyone.

This week I finished The Last Faith.
Got all 3 endings and completed it 100%, took me 65+ hours but I enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended.

Also finished Voidwrought, thoroughly enjoyed it. Took me 20 hours and I highly recommend it.

Near the end of Rebel Transmute, finally making some real progress and it plays so much better once you gain more abilities.

Also started Halloween and Ash Vs Evil Dead, love the 16bit slash fest, good fun.

Already have Turbo Kid Deluxe Edition pre-ordered, another bike Metroidvania.

Typical, they close the online services for older consoles and then don't want you to use unofficial sources.
No fun for you, please understand

I love bizarre Metroidvania's so I'm definitely getting this.
I highly recommend Super Daryl Deluxe if you want another crazy option.
It is extremely good.

Between all the family outings and get togethers I played some more Rebel Transmute, I'm enjoying it, it's not perfect but I'm enjoying the punishing and rewarding gameplay.

Also opened my Standard edition of The Last Faith as I wait for my Nycrux Edition.
I'm really enjoying it, can't wait to sink some more time into it.

Also my copy of Rainworld arrived from LRG so I'll get into that and my copy of Rogue Legacy 2 CE.

I also got Ash Vs Evil Dead and Halloween double pack on cart, so I'll also be hooking into those as well, bad pun intended.

This week I played Animal Well.
Got 56 eggs, all items and 3 bunnies.
I am loving it so far.

Taking a break from it and started Rebel Transmute.
Really enjoying it, I'm liking the difficulty, I enjoy games that push me.

Also have my CE of Rogue Legacy 2 sitting there waiting for me to open it so I'll probably Switch (pun intended) between those 3 this week

Sorry to hear you've had bad experiences.
I myself haven't.
I agree, FOMO is terrible but if these guys or any other limited company doesn't release it no one would so in the end isn't having the option to buy a physical copy of a game better than none at all?

I'd prefer to buy my games, collectors Editions or standard editions from an easily accessible supplier but in reality we can't.
These smaller companies exist so we can buy these titles, sure, it isn't the best option but at least it is exactly that, an option.

I can vouch for Pix n Love.
They have great customer communication and always deliver.
I have Have a Nice Death Collectors Edition pre-ordered through them atm and it has been delayed but they let me know that they are hoping to deliver them in the next week or so.
I've also ordered Souldiers, NMH 3, Young Souls and Nefasto's Misadventures Collectors Editions off them and they are of extremely high quality.

Already signed up for notifications when it releases.

You had me at Metroidvania

Hey everyone.
I am currently playing Oddworld Strangers Wrath Remastered.
Love the Oddworld series, if you can't tell by my avatar.

Also started and finished Foregone after I tried the free demo on the eShop.
I love this game, the artwork is beautiful and the sound is amazing. Think of a prettier Dead Cells but with some RPG elements thrown in as you upgrade your character and weapons.
It controls perfectly too.
Started NG+ and loving it.
Absolutely highly recommended.

My Collectors Edition of Rogue Legacy 2 has arrived as well as my copy of Animal Well so I can't wait to get into those too.

I used to prefer to game on A, I have no reason to game on B, and C doesn't even have any games I like. I prefer A because it is before B and C.
B and C are too late as A has done it before both of them.
I had both A and B years ago but now I moved to D, it has more than I need and blows A,B and C out of the water.
Now I play on A for the exclusives and have D to play the games from B and C

Now Apply this to every game conversation ever, and repeat for the next 100 years.

Now you know your A, B, C's......and the occasional D.

As a long time Nintendo fan this article sounds so obnoxious and arrogant.

I never like it when Nintendo become this way, they usually fail when they do.
Wii sells like hotcakes, they get too comfortable and fall on their sword with the Wii U.

I love competition, it brings out the best in these companies, I'd buy either if they have decent products, it makes Nintendo uncomfortable and makes them take risks, that's when they're at their best.

I haven't seen any of these ads on TV here in Australia yet.

In the meantime I'm playing Oddworld Strangers Wrath.
I decided to dust off my CE and finally open it.
I loved the original and this looks so much cleaner. Love Oddworld's artwork.

Finished Grimvalor NG+, really enjoyed it.

Also playing NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered with the family.
Having a blast.

While I'm cleaning out my cupboards I found my Xbox 360 LE CIB, my second CIB Wii U and my second CIB N64 console so I'll be going through and "testing" those as well.

Oh, I should add that I finally built and hooked up my Arcade 1Up machines.
My Rampage/Midway collection machine and my Pacman 40th Anniversary machine so I can't wait to get into those.

In going to choose something totally wild here and go with DURABILITY

I'd like a console that when I buy it doesn't need repairs within a month and constant controllers that need fixing

Seriously, I'm not joking.

My experience from day one was horrendous with my new day one Switch.
Cracked casing, 3 in total, major drift (been sent back 4 times and still has drift), an SD card reader that didn't work on day one.
I got the biggest Switch lemon of the lot so durability means the world to me
I was 6 weeks without a console that wasn't even a month old.
I couldn't get it replaced as there were no Switch consoles available to replace it with as it was in the launch window so it has to be sent back to Nintendo to be repaired which took 6 weeks. Not great for my kids who were super excited and had to wait while their lemon of a console was repaired.
Good times.....grrrrr

I loved playing most of these in the arcades, along with second hand smoke, booming sounds from all the arcade games, music from the jukeboxes and coins lined up the side for those people waiting to play next.

Great times.
Rastan is worth the price of entry alone.

This was already on my wishlist.
I'll buy it digitally and in the meantime wait patiently for a physical copy.
Hopefully a nice CE from Premium Edition.
Just preordered Turbo Kid Deluxe Edition from them so fingers crossed they pick this up.

Loved it, great looking game on Switch, I have the DLC to do next.

So much so I'm going through on NG+ which adds in extra enemies and new weapons. Also picked up a local copy (Australian) of The Last Faith as I can't wait for my Nycrux Edition from VGP which isn't coming until next year as I ordered it with Lost Ruins.
At least I won't have to open it I suppose.

I'm still recovering from dislocating my shoulder and tearing the muscles from the bone.

Just finished Astral Ascent.
80+ hours and I loved every minute of it.
Only one ending.
Got about 14 to go , guessing by all the characters that are in it.
Great anime artwork.
One of the best if not the best Rogue likes I've played.
Absolutely highly recommended.

Thought I'd try a change of pace and opened my VHS Edition of Alien Isolation

Loving it so far, the sound through my amp and surround sound system is awesome, definitely only playing this through the day, no night time plays 😜
Love the cat and mouse gameplay, unfortunately I'm used to being the cat.

I recently picked up a iQue for a bargain.
Had great fun opening it out of the box and discovering all its little quirks.
I could only imagine the fun of opening this up.

Don't let Nintendo fool you.
This is clearly because they used cheap parts.
I mean seriously, I pee all over my other electronic devices and have had no trouble at all.
Clearly Nintendo are just covering their backside, and front side for that matter.

This is a pi**take.😜

I'm hoping that the borders are restrictive and they lean into that for the Metroidvania elements.
I hope that you can't progress "through" them without the right moveset.
Which would be an interesting way to use the comic book aesthetic.

Still, you had me at Metroidvania

F Zero Reboot would be nice.

You know, an actual new game, while I'm dreaming a1080 and Wave Race new game would be excellent since you' have a massive user base like the Switch has.

Indies have delivered more gaming hours for me than any of the bigger companies and I hope this continues on the new Nintendo console.
Some of the best games available for the Switch are from Indies.

I'll still take more support from the bigger companies as a nice side dish.
